Mandhara Chico Bungalow

When we arrived the place was very hard to find. The road is narrow and difficult to drive down to. The staff were not friendly and did not even try to help us with our luggage. The only positive is the location and can find boat rental to see dolphins, but there are many other places that provide this option as well. The rooms were not clean and bathrooms smelled so bad. The beds were uncomfortable and sheets were dirty as well. I do not recommend anyone coming here and find somewhere else to stay.

Nice and quiet area, away from all the other shops and hotels. You can really enjoy the local scenery by the beach. The rooms were really nice and cheap. We got a super clean new room for such a good deal. I can recommend this place to stay. But I don’t recommend swimming in front of the hotel, it’s full of rubbish under the sea!!!Ewwww

Thank tou for such a great stay! We enjoyed time here. We recommend this place for dolphin watching directly from the hotel - literally 30 steps from the bed you can jump on the boat. Place is quiet, nice swimming pool. Overally it matches the price (good price performance).

We had a wonderful stay at Mamdahra, the room was clean and so big, with AC. The bathroom was stunning because you take a shower and you can see the ocean at the same time ! It's an outside bathroom, great idea! ||The house is so nice, everything is clean and they clean it every couple of hours. ||The staff is very friendly! It's the perfect place to go make a dolphin watching in the morning! ||You can eat in front of the beach, in the evening the atmosphere is wonderful and in the morning it's perfect! ||The area us very secure too ! ||We could recommend it enough! ||Thank you for the stay:)

Place is very bad karma. Unsafe,unhealthy, stay at risk to yourself. Very unpleasant experience there. Location is out of the way with little families and bad food. Do not take the risk. It may be cheap,but you get what you pay for. Too far from central Lovina you need a driver to go anywhere.

The room is clean and spacious, complete with hot shower, quiet location (perfect for people who is looking for inspiration). The owner is helpful. But, during our stay for 3 days, they never make up our room??? (Weird...) Fyi, the location is not strategic, so it is helpful to rent a bike. The food is too expensive, better ride the bike down the street...you can find different kinds of food with lower price.

Straight on beach, with isolated calm shoreline. The place has nicely upgraded bungalows and a really cool swimming pool. The property is run by a local family, very correct, kind people. If you are willing to watch the dolphins, they are arranging your morning trip for a reasonable price. The landlord, Pak Komang was so nice and courteous, he even sent my phone charger after me to Ubud, as I forgot it in my room. This is the kind of personal approach I really value. We still don’t understand the charme of Lovina, since the place is overpriced and the sea is dirty and polluted and the beach is full of rubbish. Nevertheless, we stayed in this lovely place with a good swimming pool, run by a caring man, who was very helpful and attentive. We rented the suite, that is a very nice and private space with a beautiful open space that overlooks the ocean. Be careful of the guys that will follow you to help you to find an accommodation, since they will ask the owner an etra fee on your room. Go on your own and when you check in specify that you are not with them. Internet works only in the restaurant.
