We had such a wonderful time at this restaurant! The food was absolutely divine – every dish was bursting with flavor, beautifully presented, and paired perfectly with a selection of amazing wines. What made the experience even more special was the enchanting Tuscany-style garden – it felt like a little slice of Italy, full of charm and beauty. The staff were incredibly kind and attentive, making us feel welcomed and cared for throughout the evening. Can’t wait to return – highly recommended!

Restaurant: The waitress decided to charge me twice the price of a glass of wine because she said she poured more wine into my glass without me asking for it. Also, the risotto was very mediocre.

We were eating in the restaurant, so can’t say anything about the hotel itself (looked nice though). Nice atmosphere outside and inside. Service is excellent, very gentle and courteous staff. The waiters speak at least English, German and Hungarian fluently. Recommended wine pairing was very good. Food is good, we had one main dish each and shared the dessert. It was very tasty and prices were fair. We would recommend eating here.

I was looking for the place to celebrate my birthday with friends. Mandilla was the perfect choice. It is a piece from Toscana. Perfect wine, food, music and atmosphere. We participated in a cooking school program during the afternoon! Even for women who regularly cook every day it was great experience and fun. During our entire stay the service was excellent, the surprise cake was unforgettable! The rooms are super clean, the furnishing and the design of the rooms are very unique. I loved it! The second day we rented electric bikes from the hotel and visited nearby hills and wineries. It is a place for perfect relaxation, experience and recharge.

A marvelous little gem in a quiet beautiful place. Impressions of Tuscany all around, from the garden through the rooms to the restaurant. Which happens to be first class, in multiple ways: great food, great plating and excellent service. In fact, exceptional service knowing all there is to know about the dishes and wine selection. Strongly recommended, both for a stay and restaurant services.

August Summer Saturday night went in 21.00 o clock just for a drink or nibble , desert . We only can get limonade and coffe. Not even a pieces of cake. I am sure it was just in the fridge. They can wait us to leave 5 ladies ..never again. They definitely dont know restaurant businesses . Disappointed

I don’t leave a lot of restaurant reviews but this place deserves it. The food and service are excellent. The chef shows a real passion for cooking.. quality ingredients prepared creatively and perfectly. A dish a simple as prosciutto e melone is prepared in a unique way that is both tasty and interesting. The meats and pastas.. most of which we tried over two visits.. are all great. And definitely save room for dessert, as it’s also excellent. The service is kind, informative, and even entertaining. W ate happy o have found Mandilla, we will definitely make it a regular stop when visiting Balaton.
