We had a very unfortunate experience at Manej Urla, and I feel compelled to warn other travelers. We had booked a 4-night stay, but were only able to endure one night due to a horrific septic smell that permeated the room. It was genuinely unbearable and made it impossible to relax or sleep comfortably. Rather than addressing the root of the issue, the hotel management opted to mask the smell with a plug-in room fragrance device, which only made things worse by combining artificial scents with the underlying sewage odor. This was not only ineffective, but also dismissive of the real problem. When we informed the hotel and decided to leave early, they refused to refund any portion of our stay and offered no compensation or sincere apology. The lack of accountability and unwillingness to make amends was incredibly disappointing and unprofessional. Thankfully, we managed to find another hotel nearby that was far superior in every way—cleaner, more comfortable, and managed by a team that was genuinely friendly and accommodating. The contrast was night and day. I would strongly advise against staying at Manej Urla. Poor conditions, poor management, and a clear lack of concern for guest comfort or satisfaction.

This family run hotel is set in the forest - lovely grounds, we felt very much at home. The staff were very accommodating and friendly - great breakfast, and a log fire. The rooms look onto the stables where the horses are used to visitors stroking them, the grooms were quite happy for us to be there. The children we saw riding were kitted out in safety vests and riding hats, and all those who rode had a great experience. Red wine and cheese plate is recommended and they have great coffee!

I've been looking forward to going on a culinary adventure in the Urla region of Turkey. Famous for it's wineries and restaurants, Urla has something for everyone. At the top of my list was Manej Urla. It is easily one of the best farms you'll ever visit. Everything was perfect. The staff is really friendly and helpful. The food was delicious. I had a traditional Aegean Salad and Well done steak served with Kebab, Roast Potatoes and Acini Di Pepe in butter sauce. In addition, there are several vineyards & restaurants close to the farm should you be interested in wine tasting. It is a place I highly recommend & plan on visiting again soon.

The location is very nice. The journey is a bit tough so on the way back a cool headed driver is essential or staying for the night might be an option. ||||The dining garden was very nice. The cats and dogs are friendly but not obstrusive. ||||We tried many things some of them average, some of them not good and some are very good. ||||We had okra with a local cheese bed, shiitake mushrooms grilled, pastry with eggplant, kokorec (lamb intestines) and greek style zucchini and turkish sweets wrapped and fried were the highlights. ||||The rest is average. Our waiter mr. Atila was very good. The choices of wine is also very good by the glass.

We visited for Sunday breakfast. It was a good spread, not any different from similar places. The staff was super helpful, fast and kind. In the nature, very peaceful and well maintained place. Make sure to make a reservation, won't be nice to drive back after a long ride. It took me app. 20 minutes from Içmeler to reach there.

I suppose it’s used to be a must-stay place; during our trip in the late October we were disappointed with what’s currently served in the hotel. Management needs review amnesties from A to Z.

Truly spectacular setting, a beautifully renovated hotel/restaurant and organic farm with a variety of animals (horses, cows, goats, etc) who are cared for with love by a passionate team. The wine from the local area is fantastic by any standards, the food is all locally sourced (much of it from the farm itself) and excellent. The entire staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming - we are so happy we found Manej
