The Hotel is well-established and has been in the family for a long time. The current owner is brilliant and doing a good job. The Hotel is up-to-date and clean. This is a foody village and we had some brilliant local products. I plan to be back when I am anywhere in the Pyrenees

This is a quirky and lovely rural hotel. The restaurant, due to lack of local staff, is prepared, local cuisine which one chooses, pays for with card and heats oneself. The owner-manager and family are about to help and some great local wines. Very Basque and we so appreciated the stay.

We had a wonderful time here, the peace was only broken by Arnos cheerful whistling in the morning. Arno is the perfect host, friendly, welcoming and very helpful and fond of singing, his rendition of 'Hit the road Jack' still makes us smile. Also his family are charming. |The room was clean, bright, spacious with a nice view of the garden plus end suite bathroom and air con (very useful if you want to sleep in August as it gets quite warm). Would definitely visit again

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this modest little hotel in a rural location up in the Pyrennees. Delightful, relaxed and helpful host, Arño and his young family run this third generation hotel which has simple clean en suite rooms. You can enjoy his own chicken's eggs on a boil yourself basis for breakfast - relaxed and delicious. We enjoyed his upstairs sitting room with friends and he was happy for us to play online bridge in his eating area the following evening, he even provided the extension lead. Good value for money, we would definitely stay again.

Arno and family are great hosts offering Basque hospitality in beautiful surroundings. There is a clear love of the area and this shows up in the friendly welcome and great food. We were only there for one night but would have gladly stay off longer - the hiking in the area is amazing.

I came there as a hiker looking for something to eat. The restaurant doesn't operate anymore. I bought something from a vending machine and was given free dessertS, water and shelter from the rain. Amazing service for someone who is barely a client.

In a stunning location at the foot of the Iparla Ridge, this is a friendly, family run hotel and restaurant where you are immediately made to feel welcome, even by Sisko, the owners massive bernese mountain dog.|Our room was clean, comfortable and overlooked the garden, the views of the mountains to the right, were stunning. |Dinner in the restaurant was excellent. The food was perfectly cooked and beautifully presented. |We will not hesitate to call here again and look forward to our next visit.
