Mangawhai Heads Holiday Park

Stayed at the north beachside sites and they are amazing. We could sit in the tent and watch the kids play for hours on the beach or go paddleboarding with them at high tide. Added bonus was a stream with eels which the kids loved. Very safe tidal beach with nice sand not mud like other estuaries. Facilities amazing. Will definitely be back!

A small motorhome group of friends booked and stayed there. The booking, assistance support and communication throughout was excellent. The venue relaxing, so clean and excellent facilities and covered area to meet up. The group really enjoyed this venue, being on the sea and beautiful views.. we will be back again. Highly recommend.

This is the perfect area to go to , if with family or friends, There are bathrooms, kitchen, laundry room and few bbq outside all maintained and clean , theres fridges as-well in the kitchen Just note if first time going here its $1 per 5mins for the showers , the staff does cash outs . Staff are excellent and explain where to go aswell . Gates open 6am and Closes 10:30pm .No dogs allowed .Remember to bring your sunscreen because it gets hot up here and your fishing rods .. can walk to a good fishing spot on the rocks on the far left side .. Boat ramp here aswell and a jeti

The most beautiful camp ground I’ve been to in New Zealand. Super modern and clean facilities. The beach front camp spots are stunning. The staff go out of their way to look after you. I’m looking forward to going again.

We had a fabulous time staying in a family cabin. The cabin was clean, modern, with all the essentials. Perfect for our little family. Located a short walk to the beach with water views and a short distance to the shared facilities so we could meet with friends camping. A large supermarket was just 10 minutes drive away and there’s a great hike within walking distance. We will definitely be back.

Mint, from beginning to end. Nice vibe and perfect modest scattering of patrons. Multicultural feel. Eight days of brilliant sunshine, dips in the sea. Emma at the front desk is especially helpful and lovely. Everyone else in the outfit went substantially beyond the call of duty. Highly recommend.

Venue is beautiful. Lots and lots of rules to follow. Do your research to find out what your site is like. Ours was completely boxed in by other tents and vans so you felt like you were camping in a car park with no glimpse of the stunning beach. Nice facilities although twice my loo was out of paper 🤨|Plenty of gorgeous walks and not far from shops and restaurants. Paradise for SUPs, kayaks and fishing.

Excellent staff. Amazing views. Orcas swam by twice in one morning! Visible from the campsite. Kitchen, BBQ area, TV-room, all amenities are nice and clean. Loved it...
