Mangawhai Heads Holiday Park

Stayed here before about 2 years ago. Decided to return. Very friendly check in and as we are a big caravan were put on a nice large corner site. Lots of room. Facilities are good with coded access. One dollar shower. Had a really nice stay again

Loved these grounds. So clean and tidy and really nice facilities. Location was perfect for stunning walks, surf beach, estuary and the village centre for eating out. Really impressed. We stayed in a small cabin which was comfy and cosy. Loved our short stay.

The Economy Cabin really was good value for money! We had everything we needed: kitchen supplies, towels & even Netflix. The toilet block had a modern touch with artwork and $1 for a 7min shower was plenty. We liked the place so much we returned the following night.

I recently stayed at Mangawhai Headsand had a fantastic experience. The site is well-maintained, with beautiful natural surroundings and a peaceful atmosphere, perfect for a relaxing outdoor getaway. Spacious and clean in kitchen, with level ground for tents and easy access for caravans. Toilets & Showers very clean and regularly maintained, very good hot water. There were plenty of things to do nearby, including hiking trails. We took 5 hours tracking when we were there. Highly recommend.

The location is picturesque and good location. The price is expensive for a Motorhome for 2 nights. We have been here for more than 24 hours. The Toilets haven’t been cleaned from the weekend guests. Rubbish bin in Ladies toilet over flowing. Toilet paper still on floor of first toilet. The toilets are smelly. The shower cubicles were wet and sandy this morning. They haven’t been cleaned either. They don’t smell fresh. We have travelled extensively and have stayed at very clean Holiday Parks. We are very disappointed with lack of cleaning.

A very pleasant place to stay. Cabin was cosy, private and bed was so comfy. I thought the facilities were first class and the location simply magical. The process of checking in was simple and they seem to have thought of everything. A very well run holiday park. I will be back!

Stayed in our mororhome for three nights. Lovely friendly staff. Great view from our campsite of the inner harbour and the dune. Lots of walks nearby, great for cycling and the main beach a 10 -15 minute walk away.

Loved it. Excellent service, quiet lovely location beside the estuary at Mangawhai Heads. The view of the bar - lovely. Stayed in a Family Cabin at a very affordable price. Would highly recommend it.
