Mangawhai Heads Holiday Park

Stayed here before about 2 years ago. Decided to return. Very friendly check in and as we are a big caravan were put on a nice large corner site. Lots of room. Facilities are good with coded access. One dollar shower. Had a really nice stay again

we had an awesome stay, absolute waterfront, excellent base for exploring Mangawhai, facilities are great we love the toilet so modern and clean, and friendly staff... and we love the ragdolls they are so cute my son want to take one of them :). We enjoyed our kayaking and paddle boarding so handy only few steps from the campsite. will come back for sure, highly recommended

The economy cabin was very nice, clean and warm in the middle of the winter. Both my son and I were very happy about our decision to stay in this cabin. The only nagative part is that it is a little bit far from toilet especially for a rainy night.

The Economy Cabin really was good value for money! We had everything we needed: kitchen supplies, towels & even Netflix. The toilet block had a modern touch with artwork and $1 for a 7min shower was plenty. We liked the place so much we returned the following night.

Stayed in our mororhome for three nights. Lovely friendly staff. Great view from our campsite of the inner harbour and the dune. Lots of walks nearby, great for cycling and the main beach a 10 -15 minute walk away.

Beautiful Views of the camp on water's edge. The camp itself is well maintained great showers. Like most of the camps up here operated on a coin water is precious up here small price to pay for the wonderful views up here in Mangawhai. It is certainly worth the trip up here & visit for a few days. The township further down the road the Village & the Heads themselves walks on the beach

Noela, Richard and the team, could not do enough for us. Responded to every random request and question we had which is no easy feet when taking a couple of hundred school kids. The facilities were amazing. The grounds were always kept maintained and the sites well distributed and of great size. We will 100% return.

Had a great stay there off season. Clean facilities, hot shower ($ coin), friendly staff. I camped right by the estuary and had the full moon reflecting in the water for dinner. My only quibble would be that pop-up sanua (different company) didn't run every night, would have been great to try that.
