The food is amazing! This is definitely one of the best pasta dishes I have ever tasted. The staff was friendly and the food was quick and tasty. I highly recommend making this place a stop during your time in key west. It has become a staple for my family and a must visit place any time I’m here. I can’t wait to go back and try more dishes!

Google
This is one of our favorite restaurants in Key West. We have been here a few times. It reminds us of an authentic Italian Restaurant. Great menu and great wine list. This last time I had a House Salad, then Caprese. My wife had the Chicken Piccata. We like sitting outside because of the ambience but the inside is nice too. The service is quick and very kind. They know their menu very well. I showed our waitress the pictures of our previous dishes and she knew right away what they were. We highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely be going back. They also give locals discount which is an added bonus.

We wondered up on this place by mistake.. it was a good mistake! This place offers in house made pasta, in house made sauces, service was good, and we got our food rather quickly. The price was reasonable and the food was great!

Google
This place may have decent food (I wouldn’t know firsthand), but the service never allowed us that opportunity. We placed an order worth$100—and not only was it wrong/missing half of what we ordered, but it was packaged so poorly that it destroyed the entire meal and I got to wear some too. By the time we got back, everything was a soggy, inedible mess. And when we tried to reach our unfortunately we were laughed at and scoffed off… I’m sure the food could be great—if it ever actually makes it to you in one piece. But for us? $100+ down the drain and a completely ruined evening. Thanks for nothing. Great flavors can’t fix terrible service. Never again.

Google
One of the best Italian dinners I have had. The bruschetta was amazing, the papperdelle was OMG, the marinara sauce was delicious, and the Key Lime pie one of the best on the island. Cash took care of us from wine selection to dessert would definitely go back!!

Google
We eat here at least once every time we visit Key West. Freshest pasta and seafood you can get and served very different than anywhere else on the island. The pollo piccata and the scallops with pesto are my favorite!

Google
Nice and cozy place, very friendly staff. The problem was the food, my plate was full of oil and my partner's was full of water, the pasta seemed like it was cooked many hours ago, very sad since the staff and the place were very cozy.

Google
The food here is AMAZING!!! The service was GREAT and the atmosphere was nice! Our waitress was extremely nice. My husband had the linguine and clams, I had the scallops and spinach fettuccine. Homemade pasta and sauces. Absolutely delicious!! Highly recommend!!!! Oh and the key lime pie was excellent as well!

Yelp
The food was AMAZING! My very picky husband gave it a 9/10 where my Gluten free friend said it was the best sauce she'd ever had and the GF pasta noodles amazing! Very limited inside seating but a huge outside area! They open at 5:30 and only take reservations for large groups so get there early! We will definitely be back!

Yelp
Came across this place by luck. It's a mix of I want to be an old type fancy with a I'm a mom's pizza parlor all in one. Service was great didn't feel rushed, although they did say it does get really busy. The homemade pasta was amazing, everything thing we had was great, including the bottle of wine. We were there during slow season. So if you do come during peak grab a drink and enjoy the entire experience from waiting outside to dining.

Yelp
Mangia Mangia Pasta Cafe was a disappointing experience, despite its reputation and the glowing reviews that made me curious to try it. The service was lackluster. While our waitress was friendly, my glass of water was only refilled once throughout the entire dinner, and the restaurant wasn't even busy. Maybe it was an off day, but the level of attention just didn't match the expectations for a place like this. On a positive note, the outdoor seating is lovely, with a fantastic ambiance that sets the stage for a promising meal. Unfortunately, the food fell far short. I ordered the Pollo Con Funghi e Piselli, and it was underwhelming. The chicken was bland, flavorless, and had the texture of something that might have been boiled. The pasta was overcooked to the point of being mushy, and the marinara sauce lacked flavor entirely. Honestly, you could open a jar of Rao's marinara at home and end up with something much better. My wife ordered the Mahi Piccata, and we both found it overwhelmingly lemony--so much so that it overpowered any other flavors in the dish. While the setting is nice, the food and service just didn't live up to the hype. If you're craving Italian food in Key West, there are much better options to explore. Unfortunately, Mangia Mangia left us wishing for a do-over somewhere else.

Yelp
Mangia Mangia in Key West is known for its fresh pasta, a delightful spot to try out!

Yelp
Still dreaming of the home made rigatoni with the creamy pesto. Simple place and menu, but in the best way. Ordered the meatballs as well which were made extremely well. Bottles of wine are very affordable as well. Service was very slow, and it really wasn't that crowded.

Yelp
As a person who cannot eat wheat, Mangia Mangia is a great find! I have had one or two gluten free pastas that are better, but none offered a chicken parm coated in rice flour, not wheat flour. What a treat! We went at 5:30 on a Sunday, and were seated right away. Wine was great, service was lovely, great dinner overall. If you are celiac, they ask, I am not, so I'm not sure what they would have done differently had I answered yes. But they accommodated my wheat allergy beautifully.

Yelp
Great local space with fresh pasta! The servers are friendly and the outdoor patio is enchanting.

Yelp
For the quality and quantity vs price the experience did not equal up to a great experience The place has a nice neighborhood feel and a comfortable inside vibe. The service was average - nothing notable just average. We were a party of five and had a variety of dishes and in summary they were all basically average. The sauces tasted like caned grocery store and don't expect much from the pasta - very very average . Chicken parm dishes were small and overall taste was average. Wife had the special which was Fettuccine in cream sauce with lump crab - again very average the sauce was ok - just ok and a little lumpy. With all dishes priced in the high 20s and 30s I was expecting something much better.

Yelp
Great spot in KW. Always amazing food and service. Have been a must visit for us for a while!

Yelp
So, dinner. My wife and I went to Mangia! Mangia! in Key West on a recommendation from from a friend. We always like to "eat where the locals eat" when we travel and this felt like 'the joint'. It's a quaint little place nestled in a neighborhood of quintessential Key West style homes. When you walk in, you immediately feel welcome. The decor is eclectic and a perfect mash of color and comfort. We were drawn to the artwork on the walls and after soaking it all in, we agreed that this is where we would eat all the time if we lived here. Food... we ordered the mussels for a starter. They were fresh and massive! The flavor was incredible. It was ridiculously good. I ordered the Bollito Misto di Mare. Listen... just wait a sec... let me say this. I have travelled every corner of the US and I have eaten pasta (my personal kryptonite) all over. I will say.. this was THE BEST pasta dish I have ever had. The Pesto sauce had so much flavor my wife had to tell me to be quiet because I was just saying "omg this is so good" over and over. I can't say enough good things about the meal, the establishment, and the service. If you find yourself in KW looking for pasta, you be doing yourself a serious disservice if this was not your first choice.

Yelp
If you're looking for the best Italian food in Key West, look no further. Mangia Mangia is an authentic Italian restaurant. Service was exceptional, choice of inside or outside as well. Perfect for a date night type of night. 10/10!

Kat L.

Yelp
Would not recommend. Wait times are horribly off by about 30 minutes. Ordered right away and was almost immediately hit with a waitress who clearly did not want to serve us. Was told she would bring read and after 15 minutes had to ask for it. Waited an hour for our meal... it's pasta. Not only that we watched her service other tables faster than us, so she specifically singled us out.

Yelp
The food was great and waitress was fast, not extra friendly.....but I'd say focused. We ordered beers, chicken Marsala and Alfredo with blue tipped crab. Excellent food.

Yelp
Amazing fresh pasta. The chicken in the Quattro formaggio is so tasty. The Spaghetti Al Carbonara is incredible. Fresh bread to the table and great selection of wine to pair. The service is so friendly and professional. The outside patio during sunset was so peaceful and nice. One of the best places for your Key West date night.

Yelp
The place was very cute and had indoor/outdoor seating. We ordered the broccoli rabe, New Zealand green lipped mussels, pollo Parmesan, and the fresh sea scallop pasta. Everything was a bit underwhelming. The broccoli rabe was too bitter and needed some more seasoning to it, the mussels were too chewy but the sauce it had was very tasty. Then for our entrees, the scallops were amazing but the pasta with the scallops was underdone. Some of the pieces were still a bit hard. Normally I like al dente pasta but this was not al dente. My husband got the pollo Parmesan and unfortunately it lacked flavor and wasn't breaded. He did re read the menu and saw it said gluten free flour so that definitely was a mistake on our end to order but we think the pasta sauce that came on the parm should have been a bit more robust. I'm not sure if maybe the place was just super busy and kind of cut corners on our pasta but we were disappointed.

Yelp
Amazing food and great service! The spinach fettuccine alfredo with lump crab meet was VERY good. Everyone enjoyed their food (we were a group of 8). Pasta and sauces are made in-house. Beer and wine only establishment. Definitely worth the visit!

Yelp
The restaurant is away from the busy area of Duval St. It's in a quieter, residential area, which was appealing after spending a couple days exploring the touristy restaurants of Key West. It has an old school charm and excellent service - our waitress was very kind and attentive. For apps we ordered the Broccoli Rabe (it was bitter, but that is to be expected with broccoli rabe). They also gave us bread for the table. For mains, I ordered the rigatoni with creamy pesto and it was fantastic. The perfect comfort meal. Their pastas are handmade, but still had that perfect al dente bite. My husband ordered the Grilled fresh Atlantic salmon which came with fusilli in marinara on the side. He liked his meal but the portions were quite large so it was impossible to finish it all. All entrees also came with garlic butter rosemary toast, so lots of bread for one meal. Would recommend for anyone wanting to try something different than the tourist traps! They do serve wine but we didn't order any so not sure what the selection is like.

Yelp
On a scale of 1 to 10 I'd give this place. 6. Requested 2 pieces of grilled chicken for my dog which was probably the most tasty thing we got even though it was 25. For 2 small pieces of grilled chicken. Ordered the marinera pasta with shrimp, tasted like it came from a can. Lastly ordered the carpaccio which truly was nothing to rave about. Bread they serve with the meal was ok just not warm. This does seem like a family owned business and I was hoping to have some authentic food. Could have been what I ordered. I did like the atmosphere and the outdoor patio is super cute.

Yelp
We have been coming to this place for the last 8 years on our annual vacation to Key West and have usually bin in parties of 6 to 8, Seating inside and outside, service is friendly and attentive, the food is consistently good. Due to challenging parking I recommend not driving if possible but if you do it's worth the effort.

Yelp
Our favorite go to Italian restaurant in Key West. Our favorite server Elaine always pleasant and excellent. Can't go wrong here with anything on the menu

Yelp
Tonight, I was deeply disappointed by the treatment I received at your establishment when I visited with my certified service dog. As a disabled veteran, I rely on my service dog to assist with my daily needs, and I was looking forward to a peaceful evening. We had heard good things. Instead, I faced unwarranted resistance and felt unwelcome simply because I was accompanied by my service animal. Your staff smirked at each other when I requested to be seated inside and not in the rain. Under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), individuals with disabilities have the right to be accompanied by their service dogs in all public areas, including indoor seating areas. Denying access or treating a person differently due to a service animal is not only unlawful but also discriminatory. This experience left me feeling disrespected and unsupported in a community that should prioritize accessibility and inclusion for all. I am reaching out in the hope that you will take this as an opportunity to train your staff on ADA compliance and to build an understanding of the importance of service animals for people with disabilities. No one should feel unwelcome simply for accessing their rights. I hope to see positive changes in the future so that others with disabilities can enjoy all that Key West has to offer without facing similar treatment.

Yelp
I was craving pasta and found this perfect spot. There's inside and outside seating. We chose outside. Everything we got hit the spot! Fresh pasta made on site. Wow. When in Key West and craving Italian, here's your spot!

Yelp
So we stumbled upon Mangia Mangia on Christmas Eve and were impressed with the man made snowflakes falling in Key West. Surprisingly we were able to make a last minute Christmas Day reservation. Reasonable prices and our service was quite spot on. We all enjoyed our dinners and the Key West snow.

Yelp
This is the second time we went to Mangia Mangia. We originally went there in recommendation from our shuttle driver. The food was amazing! On our first visit, we were seated almost immediately. Our server was very attentive and friendly. Our second time was not so good. We had to wait almost an hour to be seated at a table for two. I called ahead to make a reservation and was told they do not make reservations for a party of two. When we arrived at the restaurant it was busy! We put our name in the list and waited. There was a party of eight women that arrived before us that ended up not getting seated and they left. I'm not sure why they didn't get seated when there were two tables available for quite a while where they could have been seated. The food was good over Shaun but the timing of service could use improvement. There was a table of ten that waited much too long for their food to come out.

Yelp
We arrived just before 5:30 and the line formed quickly. We were greeted with friendly staff and aromas that made your mouth water. We chose outside seating despite the rainy conditions. Our service was prompt and friendly. We started with the salad and one was enough to share. The fresh baked bread was fabulous. The meals were filling and delicious. Highly recommend giving this place a try.

Yelp
Been open since 1989! The homemade fusilli pasta and marinara was wonderful! The mahi entree had an aromatic oak grilled flavor which includes the pasta was simply outstanding. The fresh bread appetizer w/ olive oil and balsamic was very good! Service was excellent!

Yelp
we came across Mangia Mangia during our morning walk and so glad we found it because it was one of my favorite meals in Key West. the pasta was fresh (literally, we saw them making it fresh on our walk!) and the sauces are just as good! The bread, wow! Small cozy spot with great food and service! End with a key lime pie- you won't regret it.

Yelp
My husband's family are lifelong residents of Key West, and we come every year - we will not return to Mangia Mangia - Based on the ratings, I had high hopes but very disappointing. The sauce tasted so bland! There was zero seasoning. On July 18 when we went, the female server was HORRIBLE. She ignored us and spent time with other customers. We clearly did not have the proper background and I hope I do not have to spell out what that means. We were simply ignored. I will say the young man clearing the tables was extremely nice and friendly. The food was overpriced for the quality and taste - I could not understand why the sauce had zero seasoning.
google avatar

Joe W.

Yelp
We put our name in and they told us 2 hours. That was true. Ordered right away and then waited another 45 minutes for the food. Of the nine orders 3 weren't right. Mine was as simple as no meat in the sauce. To fix it they brought a tiny bowl of sauce. Everyone agreed the food was "not bad". That's the best we could say and it was not worth the wait. The check did have the 20% gratuity already on that they say may happen. They didn't get a penny more in gratuity. In the end it's been the low point of the trip. Just not worth the wait or cost.

Hedaya H.

Yelp
We had a great experience at this yummy authentic Italian place. The food was amazing, the staff were friendly and efficient, and last but not least the atmosphere was a vibe.

Yelp
Typically I wouldn't have picked an Italian restaurant in an "exotic" location, but my pregnant wife wanted pasta. Note that there is no parking near the restaurant. After driving around a few minutes, only seeing resident permit labeled spots, we called and the hostess said they don't typically check. We ended up being fine, but had we gotten a ticket I'm sure it would have effected this review. We started with a capese salad which was pretty standard. It was served with some plain bread, no butter, and it looks like the bread was totally mangled as it was cut. The salad came out pretty quick, but the entrees took quite awhile (maybe 45 minutes for two standard meals). My wife got the chicken Marsala which she loved because it came with Alfredo which it never does. I got the seafood alfredo which I was nervous about. I love shrimp, but had never ordered mahi-mahi before and the only conch I've had was in fritters and it was tough and chewy. The mahi-mahi was perfectly fine and the dish and the conch seemed well cooked and textured. The shrimp was great but they left the tails on them. I get that it makes it seem fresher, but in a nicer restaurant and in a dish your eating with a fork, I don't want to be using my fingers to eat. I wish there'd been an option to add a scallop or two to the meal. I saw it come out on someone else's plate and it looked incredible. Getting seafood made it still have a local feel to my meal. The pasta dishes were served with some delicious garlic bread which was great to sop up all the extra Alfredo sauce. Overall not a place I'd come back to if I was only staying in Key West a night or two but not a bad spot to mix into a longer trip.

Yelp
This quaint restaurant located in a quiet neighborhood features both indoor and out seating in a fun atmosphere. We chose to dine on their large covered outdoor patio and the vibe was utterly Key West. It was December which might have explained all the colorful lights. The menu offers lots of choices and should satisfy everyone in your group. Our waitress was helpful in offering suggestions and advising us what all of the "market prices" were that evening. Many items on the menu indicated "MKT" for the price. I chose the seafood with pasta and my husband had the ravioli in a red bolognese sauce. Both were delicious and mine was so large I couldn't finish it all. Customers have a large selection of pasta styles to choose from and then can match a sauce and protein of their choice. That's a fun touch. The wine list is very extensive and ranges from quite reasonable all the way up to bottles costing many hundreds of dollars. Several are available by the glass, fortunately. All in all we enjoyed our dinner and will add Mangia! Mangia! To our growing list of Key West favorite dining spots.

Yelp
We wanted some good Italian and tan across this place. Such an adorable atmosphere and you can come casual (go figure). They have an outdoor patio but we chose to sit inside. For apps we had the caprese salad and bruschetta. In the future we would just do bruschetta as it was basically the same ingredients but a little extra flavor in the bruschetta. I had the lobster linguini and the husband had the mostaciolli. Lobster was great..:: a very rich dish so I didn't finish it. The mostacilli..the noodles were to die for but the broccoli rabe was a little strong flavored for us. The bread is fresh and delicious. Entire staff was friendly and welcoming. We will be back!!
google avatar

Ed D.

Yelp
Again this year, Tom and I enjoyed another fantastically delicious meal! The portions are historically generous and we are lightweights, so we split the Bollito Misto di Mare and broccoli rabe (Rappini), an amazing combo. Attentive, gracious service by Irene and interesting/ friendly table neighbors helped make the evening memorable. If you want home cooking away from home, Mangia Mangia is the place! Buon appetito!
google avatar

Christine M.

Yelp
The cheesecake is the best we've had in Florida! All the Finn was delicious but was so hungry we forgot to take pictures except half eaten pie! I had the doodles with shrimp and my husband had fettuccine Alfredo with chicken. I had the house salad with red peppers feta and chickpeas. Service was great and the place is casual but warm!
google avatar

Annie G.

Yelp
Not great. Food didn't have much flavor at all. Service was also slow. I've never not finished a carbonara dish until this one! It just didn't taste good. We were bummed because there were good reviews and all the other meals we had in key west had been amazing. I would pass on this one.
google avatar

Sam P.

Yelp
Of 6 people dining, 2 loved their food. My husband enjoyed his chicken parm and our friend enjoyed his mixed seafood dish. One friend had pasta and meat sauce and said it tasted strongly of fennel to the point that she really didn't like it. My chicken Marsala had no Marsala taste and the chicken was sitting in a puddle of fat. The rotini had a nice chew and the pesto was ok but didn't have the strong basil taste I'm used to. The bread was some of the best I've had in Florida. There place was packed and a lot of people seemed to be regulars, perhaps we just ordered the wrong dishes.

Cayce C.

Yelp
Amazing food, fantastic service and great ambiance. Best meal on our Key West Vacation!!!
google avatar

Hannah B.

Yelp
Delicious pasta with handmade, high quality you can taste! I had the crab spinach fettuccine Alfredo which was just incredible and was surprisingly well-portioned-- I was able to take my leftovers back to the hotel for lunch the next day. The caprese and bread were fresh and delicious as well. The massive windows give the restaurant a romantic feel that's perfect for a date night dinner. Really only knocking 1 star because service at the particular time we visited felt very rushed and somewhat unwelcoming, however, this could have been a one-off thing. I would love to come back during my next KW visit!

Mar F.

Yelp
Arrived when restaurant was half full. Got seated right away ordered salad and wine. Fine. Then ordered dinner. One hour later STILL NO FOOD. The restaurant was now packed. You'd have thought they would have served us when it was empty. Nope...nothing. We left more than enough money on the table for what we were serveand left. We've always run hot and cold on this place. It's now in the deep freeze.
google avatar

Edwin L.

Yelp
Wow! This place blew us away! I highly recommend you stop by if you're in Key West. I had a craving for pasta and I'm glad Liza picked this stop. As many people do we rode our bikes here. Liza and Antonio ordered Fettuccine one with Alfredo and one with Garlic and chicken,I had the Shrimp with pasta. They give a fresh/Delicious toasted bread with the dishes and as an appetizer. The location is off the main tourist area by 3-5 minutes and it's absolutely worth the ride(in bikes). They have seating inside and outside, we ate inside due to the heat. The service was a 10 super friendly/attentive. I can't say this enough, this place is a must! I only wish I had known earlier so I could have visited more than once...
google avatar

Octaivia B.

Yelp
Simply an amazing place for dinner. I'd eat here every single night. Homemade pasta. Local seafood. Great staff and service. Outdoor and indoor seating.

Yelp
Exceptional! Food, service and ambiance were outstanding! We had the Bruschetta and it was delicious. We had the seafood pasta and spaghetti with meatballs. Best meatballs I've every had. Everything was cooked perfecto al dente! We sat in the patio and it was just perfect. Tables were placed just right to allow the servers to move about freely. Mangia Mangia was spectacular!

Ed T.

Yelp
Great food and service. Elaine was a great waitress. Love the location, off the busy area in Key West.

allen T.

Yelp
I can't say enough good things about this restaurant. A locals favorite and great restaurant for the fortunate tourist who learns of it. prices are reasonable by Key West standards. Everything including the pasta is made fresh and absolutely delicious. My wife had the fettuccine Alfredo and added sautéed mushrooms. I had the seafood pasta in a marinara sauce, and it had as much seafood as it did pasta which was a lot! wish I took a picture, but had to dive right in:(

Yetta H.

Yelp
House made gluten free pasta! Waitperson suggested with scallops. Absolutely delicious!

Peyton S.

Yelp
The food at mangia mangia was delicious. I ordered the pollo piccata and the flavor of the piccata sauce was great. We appreciated that they gave us extra pieces of bread with our pasta. The service was great, our waitresses were friendly and helpful. Lastly, the key lime pie we had for dessert was one of the best on the island. The tartness was great and the consistency was perfect.
