The most beautiful location in the coral coast. The customer service was great. They were very helpful and kind. We loved our ocean view bure. It was very peaceful the stay, not too many guests around, which we loved. Will come back to resort again next time in Fiji.

I escaped not just to a beach, I escaped myself. My anxious thoughts vanished, time slowed, and certain peace overflowed and consumed my existence. In this space I found the time to hear the sounds of nature, I found myself appreciating the texture of the sand and grass under bare feet, I found clarity and a sense of cleaning away the burden of the past few months of daily life in a wash of cool crystalline water as I  snorkeled around the cove, over coral reefs and inlets, but most of all, I found my breath. The perfection of Mango Bay comes from its imperfections.  Its charm deeply embedded in its character, the people, and its connection to place. For those who prefer more factual detail; # Brilliant communication including organizing all airport transfers, tours and activities. # Great amenities - with sea kayaks and snorkeling gear on hand at no cost. # Beautiful rooms, comfortable beds and real beach side villas. # Loved the outdoor shower - was the perfect way to start and end a day, under the sun or stars with complete privacy. # Attentive staff, great rotating food menu's and fantastic selection of drinks (shots especially) Is it perfect, no, is it rough around the edges, yes.... but this is what makes it special, and this is what makes it unique. Can't wait to get back to a place that made me feel like I was home.

Quiet sheltered bay, warm clear waters. Away from the busy city life, hire a car for a bit of freedom. Use the paddle boards to explore the reef. Salt water pool, yummy cocktails and swinging day bed. The beach front bures are the best spot with their outdoor showers a highlight. Lush gardens teaming with wildlife. The staff are amazing - beautiful welcoming people. Menu changes everyday. Lots of fresh fruit at breakfast.

Beach side bures are beautifully rustic and a must rather than the garden rooms. Forget Wi-Fi and TV. It’s not happening here, which I loved. The pool is large and perfect for volley ball or watching the ocean. Ocean activities abound including snorkeling, kayacking and paddle boarding. Other activities can be sourced at nearby larger resorts. A special mention goes to Villi, Moses and Seta for their wonderful service. Food was the weak spot. Tourists want fresh juice, fresh milk rather than cordial, UHT and overcooked eggs.

A 5 star review for a 2 star resort. Beautiful setting- the beachfront Bure is worth it. The included breakfast was great! Snorkeling was good if the tide is right. We had a rental car which made getting around easy (it's a bit of a drive from other places). Would definitely stay again.

We booked a beachfront bure, the view was amazing, and the outdoor shower was so nice (complete with a family of hermit crabs in the garden which was adorable!). |We found the resort to be really peaceful, the people were friendly, and the food was great.|A really great place to relax and unwind.

My husband and I attended a wedding in Fiji in Aug 2025. After the wedding, a group of 6 of us spent 4 days at Mango Bay. The best way for me to describe Mango Bay is it is " Imperfectly Perfect". No, there is not a towel for every body part, AC or even wifi in the huts, but ..I promise you will walk away feeling like you actually visited Fiji. Ed (owner), Tina, Villy and the rest of the staff are kind, professional, accommodating and overall, second to none. The location is incredible and the food...WOW!!! The menu changes every day and like one of our group said..."You can tell everything is made with love". Honestly, staying at Mango felt more like staying in a friends' home vs paid accomodation. If you go to Fiji, I hope you get the chance to experience this magical place. Joan and Todd (Edmonton, Alberta, Canada)

My wife and I travelled with extended family to Mango Bay recently. At the start, arriving at night, I was a little bit taken aback as the resort is in a valley down a dirt road and some of the bures are a little run down. However after the first night I was sold. The resort is peaceful, beautiful and supported by the friendliest and most helpful staff I’ve ever seen. The manager and owner, Ed, was fantastic and did everything in his power to make our stay restful and fun. He assisted in booking airport transfers, trips, massages, snorkeling etc as well as organising to watch some great rugby games! The sunset views are fantastic from the pool and beach. The ocean view and beach bures are wonderfully Fijian with traditional roofs and outdoor showers. You can see the sea and break at the reef, and hear the surf from your bed (which was very comfortable and firm). The food was outstanding, very well priced and I totally recommend the seared tuna and the fettucine with chicken and mushroom (with a tickle of chili). The menus rotate on a daily basis and keep you guessing as to the best dish! The coconuts with a dash of rum are pretty good too! The resort offers free SUP, kayaks, snorkels, etc and there is a beautiful little reef packed with fish a short walk along the beach. If you want to do anything else they offer trips out to the islands, snorkelling, river tubing, day trips to Suva etc. We were fortunate to attend a local church and the choir singing was amazing! I was a little sad to say farewell at the end of the week as the staff came and gave us hugs with a tear in their eyes, and then sang us a beautiful farewell song. Vinaka Tina, Villy, Mo, Sate, Marg, Levi, Shorna, Pablo, Mango and Kaylani and all the others who made our stay memorable! If you’re after a modern air conditioned room with fancy restaurants, big pool, heaving with people and lots of planned activities this may not be for you. But if you want to experience a slice of paradise , read a good book or two, snorkel and kayak in peace, and meet some absolutely terrific people at a very reasonable price then Mango Bay is my place in the sun. Recommended! Sota tale!!
