"Mango Cafe, South Bend by West.SB. Mango Cafe is a Venezuelan cafe serving classic cuisine such as arepas and empanadas in a cozy, colorful space. It's a bit outside our normal path but well-worth the trip. Our personal favorite dishes are the patacones and any burger with their signature pink sauce."

Fresh and delicious. I’ve never been to Venezuela but it was very good and fresh and reminded me of Dominican food. This was my first time and I went in and ordered to go. The staff was very friendly and seem to also interact very well with those dining in. I had the Pabellon as this was the Venezuelan classic. The shredded beef was tender and a bit sweet, the black beans and was were delicious as was the plantain and the two arepitas were amazing. I also tried the chicha beverage which is almost identical to horchata and was very good with a strong cinnamon flavor. The price of the lunch was a bit higher than I’d like, $18 for the Pabellon and chicha otherwise I’d give five stars and will be going back to try the variety of empanadas.

Good food and great service. Cute small cafe to go to when you’re craving Venezuelan food or something a little different. It was pretty crowded when we went and we had to wait a bit before being seated/served, but that’s just a testament to how popular the cafe is!

I’ve been meaning to go to Mango Cafe for years now and finally made my way over with some friends. On the outside, it looks like it’s going to be a bit of a hole in the wall, but the inside presents an entirely different atmosphere. It felt almost like going to my grandmother’s house for a family dinner. I ordered the Pabellón and loved it. The traditional Venezuelan dish had a taste of everything and it was all delicious. Overall, Mango Cafe is a great experience and has great food on offer.

Second review of this location. The owner Mario gets to know you on a personal level. I walked in after not being here for a few months and he was all excited and remembered I hadn't been in for about 4 months. They have a new menu, which is amazing and still holds this authentic feel to it. It is much smaller but the important bits remain. The food is still full of flavor and beautifully presented.

This place has amazing food! If you don't like food from different nationalties though, I would steer clear. I love trying new foods and my friend is from Venezuela so she knew what to order. So cool to see a bit of the culture and try some traditional food! I would definetly go back:)

Try the empanadas, they're so good. the arepas are also delicious. To make your experience more delicious try the juices they make. The mango or the passion fruit are both great options.
