Yelp
One of the few places that has dessert soup. So happy to have this place - one of my go-to places for Asian dessert! Noticed they have a few non-dessert options which I have yet to try.
What I've tried so far:
-Green tea crepe mille cake - light, delicate layers, true matcha flavor. Not too sweet.
-Ube crepe mille cake - light, delicate layers like the green tea. True ube flavor. Not too sweet.
-Taro ball with herbal jelly - would like a bit more creamer and ice so it's not too sweet. Otherwise, usually my favorite to satisfy my craving for this.
-Mango pancake - light whipped cream and mango in a mango flavor, crepe-like wrap. Prefer less cream and a bigger mango piece in it so I wasn't into it but my bf and friend loved it.
-Ube soup with sago and rice ball - satisfies a craving when I'm too lazy to make this at home. Love this during the winter. Lightly sweet. Filling with no guilt.
-Black sesame paste with rice ball - Hot dessert soup with richer taste but not as heavy as a typical American dessert. Wish there were more rice balls in it.
-Mango juice rice ball with ice cream - refreshing with a nice texture from the rice ball. Mango used is very ripe.
-Mango juice, sago, pomelo, and mango ice cream - Sweet and refreshing - the pomelo is a nice flavor to balance it with bitter and tart. I just wish there were more pomelo bits in it.
-Mango smoothie-o - fresh and mango-y. Can't go wrong here.
Vibe: Casual, clean. Medium-ish space with seating.
Service: Nice and polite. Helpful if you have questions. Wait time is average.
Price:
Reasonable, especially where they're located and the type of ingredients they use (the taro and sweet potato starch balls they use are usually $10 for a small bag if you buy it in the Asian market.)
