This is about the restaurant only. Amazing location at night, beautiful view on the trees. Service was amateur (mixed drinks and served alcoholic drink to our teenager, couldn’t remember which table speaks English or German…). Food was either industrial or taste like it! We spent an amazing time with friendly British « neighbors » but did not enjoy the food. Also cocktails barely have alcohol (we had to request them to add it, it felt there was none. They gladly fixed it, bud still…).

Judging by the lunch we had there: great seafood spaghetti (served in a giant mussel!), good souvlaki, very friendly staff and fair pricing. On top of that location is truly amazing if you want to catch a breather from the crowds. It is situated cozily under a giant tree on a small square a bit farther from the centre. We left very satisfied.

Great spot off the main streets with a friendly family service. Unrushed and pleasant. This city is all hustle and bustle within these ancient walls and was nice to take a moment, enjoy a quiet meal under an olive tree and next to an ancient well. Chill

Absolutely fantastic. The food is delicious, and the service is the best! Lovely atmosphere in the quieter area, away from the craziness of the larger square.

What a find. We dropped in for a bite to eat and returned a few times. The food is very good. The staff and service exceptional. When we are back in Rhodes we will definitely be going back. I would highly recommend.

My sister and I stayed at The Mango Tree last week. We loved the atmosphere and the family running the restaurant and small hotel. Location was also great in the old town, rooms were clean but the best was the service, always smiling and helpful! Thank you beautiful ladies,Dimitri and Tony for looking after us - we had a great stay.

Can't comment on the rooms as we didn't stay here. This review is purely based on the awful dining experience we had here today. Rhodes is known for its beautiful beaches and vibrant culinary scene, so we were eagerly anticipating our meal at this seemingly popular restaurant. The charming ambiance and bustling crowd initially filled us with optimism, but the experience quickly turned sour. Our order of souvlaki, a classic Greek dish we'd been looking forward to, arrived disappointingly undercooked. Despite returning it, the replacement was just as raw, leaving us questioning the kitchen's competence. It was disheartening to encounter such a basic culinary mishap in a place renowned for its food. The rest of the meal failed to redeem the initial disappointment. The portions were noticeably small, leaving us feeling unsatisfied. The cheese balls, which we'd hoped would be a highlight, were more like bite-sized snacks, and the tzatziki lacked the vibrant flavors we associate with this quintessential Greek dip. It was thin and watery, a far cry from the creamy, garlicky goodness we craved. As we left the restaurant, we couldn't help but feel a sense of disappointment and frustration. We'd hoped for a memorable meal in Rhodes, but instead, we were left with a bad taste in our mouths, both literally and figuratively. It's a reminder that even in a tourist hotspot, it's crucial to do your research and not rely solely on appearances. We learned a valuable lesson that day: sometimes the most alluring restaurants can serve the most disappointing food.

Food okay ish, not great not bad. Definitely you can find a better one for a smaller price. Staff working on the street very aggressive and nasty to other restaurants around, not the wisest business model.
