Mango Tulum Hotel

Excellent service and location! Jana was so helpful with recommendations! It was very easy to contact her through what’s app. The location was incredible, only an 8 minute walk to the town. You could also ride your bike to the beach in about 20 minutes. The pool was clean and refreshing! We would stay again. Thanks and love from Canada

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Mango Tulum hotel in town. My room was so clean and comfortable including the bathroom. I found the location to be very convenient and central to everything i needed. I rented a bike from just around the corner and loved riding it around to anywhere i needed to go including the beach area. Mango Tulum is just off of the road to the beach where the bike path starts. It really is a great hotel in a great location with an exceptional value. Jana the manager was always there to help with anything i needed and the housekeeping staff did a great job. I highly recommend this hotel of you are staying in town and i will def be staying there again!

Jana, the manager, is awesome and so helpful- she was able to organize a taxi for a fair price which I really appreciated, plus gave some great recommendations for cenotes. Mango is located really well, right in town, but off the main road so not too loud. The rooms are comfortable and come equipped with aircon and a mini-fridge. The free drinking water is also a nice touch. Although I didn't have time to use the pool it was nice to have it on the property. I would definitely stay again!

A magical experience! I cannot say enough good things about my stay here! From check-in to finding things to do around town, to finding the best taxis, and giving me tips as a female traveler. Huge shout out to Jana you were a fantastic host and I appreciate having a lovely quiet oasis to come home to everyday. I plan to stay here whenever I come to Tulum. Location is absolutely perfect! I didn't have any issue with obtaining necessities from the local markets or finding some grub in a flash. Affordable!!

Perfect place for a quiet and comfortable stay. Very clean, nice and friendly staff. Pool and lounge area provide a nice atmosphere. Price is beyond affordable. AC works perfectly. Grocery store conveniently located in walking distance as well as several restaurants. I actually stayed with a large group for a special occasion so this hotel is absolutely perfect for a wedding party, reunion or a group get away! 👍🏻

We had a wonderful stay at the Mango Tulum Hotel. Clean rooms. Great service. The secluded pool/garden area was very nice. Quiet part of town and a short walk to restaurants and bars. Will definitely stay here again the next time we're in Tulum.

Didn’t want to leave! A gorgeous, tranquil hotel in the perfect location between town and the beach, but surrounded by trees and nature. The rooms are decorated with a touch of luxury and are excellent value for money. Lovely clean pool too. I would definitely stay here again.

We stayed here for a week in the top floor apartment. The bed is comfy, the place is clean. There was a gas hob to cook and a couple of pans ( in our room), A fridge with a freezer box , safe, and rail for clothes. A big balcony with weathered chairs. Netflix on the tv is great but the general wifi works best at the pool and not in the apartment. The top floor apartment was comfortable and spacious. It's a 5 walk from the main town and really quiet at night, so a great location and restaurants within a short walk. You can hop a cab to the beach really easily as there are lots of cabs. The lady who looks after the property, Jana, is really lovely, approachable and helpful. Shes there in the daytime not the evening and there are 2 sets of doors to enter the property. The garden area with a pool is chill despite the central location, and clean and I really enjoyed the vibe of this place. There isnt fancy sun loungers, but there are some table and chairs to drink your beer or juice in the sun! I would definitely recommend Mango Hotel

Great budget hotel for the price! The pool is small but quaint, there are 4 lounge chairs and a table as well. They also have snorkel for you to rent for 50 pesos. The front desk is very helpful, good English and will help you book anything you need or provide you recommendations -- they also let me use their phone to call my local tour guide. The location is not in the center of Tulum but is only a 10-15 minute walk, and about a 10-15 minute bike ride down to the ruins. It is right next to the San Francisca Supermarket - which if you ask the ADO bus they will stop right there. Wouldn't hesitate to stay there again. They provide a safe in the room, comfy bed with air conditioning, great water pressure on the shower -- great stay!

My wife, 12 month old daughter, and I loved our stay at mango tulum! The rooms are simple, clean and elegant. The pool area is well shaded (I enjoy my family's exposure to ionizing radiation being as low as reasonably achievable) and the hotel was quiet for my baby's naps. However, the most important thing to mention is the hospitality. Picture a dear friend of yours, and that they know where everything is, how to do everything, answers questions without you even knowing that you needed the answer, and that they speak 9 languages. This person is named Jana, and she made our stay here wonderful. The owners are also kind, magnificent individuals. If I were to win the lottery tomorrow, which would be odd since I don't gamble, I would promptly obtain a permanent residence here and spend the rest of my days enjoying the pool, and absorbing Jana's contagious optimistic perspective.

This is my favorite hostel in tulum, I've stayed here both times that I was in tulum. First it was a 4 bed coed room, and second time was in the suite on the top floor shared with my family. Both times we had great experiences. I've gotta say this is one of the most well maintained and cleanest hostels I've ever been to. Bonus: in-unit air conditioning that you can control yourself. Won't find any of that luxury in hostels in Playa Del Carmen. They also offer diving lessons. When I come back to Tulum a 3rd time, I'll literally probably stay here again.

This is a really nice, upscale hostel. We booked a private room and enjoyed the everything. They have a nice outdoor area with a pool. The location is walkable for downtown Tulum, and a short bike or cab ride from the beach and ruins. Best of all, Mark is a fantastic host. He gave us some good recommendations for Tulum, and was just an around pleasant guy. This place isn't the cheapest, but you get what you pay for and I definitely recommend it.

My wife and I stayed in the penthouse at Mango during our honeymoon. I am writing this review one year later from that same penthouse. After a long day of travel yesterday, we cannot be happier to back at Mango! The grounds are beautiful and the penthouse is magnificent. It is an apartment that sits exclusively in the third floor of the hotel, with two private terraces and a great layout. We have been to Tulum a bunch and enjoy staying closer to town (walking from here) and being a very short ride to the beach (under 5 minutes).

We had a great stay at Mango Tulum. The rooms are simple but ended up being everything we needed. The staff were all excellent and we loved the morning fruit and tea. We also enjoyed the outdoor space; a cool place to relax and meet other travellers. The bed was a little harder then ours at home. And they were very considerate putting an extra blanket down to soften it for us. We also had a car during our stay which was helpful getting to the beach and cenotes but not necessary. There are lots of restaurants and bars within walking distance of the hotel. Overall we thought this was a great home base for a few nights in Tulum.

This is by FAR the best place to stay while in Tulum!! Gorgeous brand new hostel with friendly service, a great courtyard with a pool, comfortable beds.... Basically everything! Location is perfect too! Right by all the shops and restaurants along Tulum Ave and a fun bike ride to the beach!! Paraiso is the best beach and it's super close to here. Highly highly recommend this awesome and very CLEAN hostel! Also has a/c and great wifi access!! A must!
