Manila Marriott Hotel at Newport World Resorts (Manila, Metro Manila) Verified Reviews | Tablet Hotels

"It doesn’t quite do justice to the Manila Marriott to call it an airport hotel, though by definition — it’s located across the street from Terminal 3, accessible on foot via a pedestrian bridge — that’s precisely what it is. But it’s also one of the most luxurious hotels in a city known for luxurious hotels." - Tablet Hotels

Stayed at the West Wing Premier and the room was huge spacious, clean, and truly felt like a 5-star stay. The pool and gym were also very nice and well maintained. Staff were accommodating and attentive throughout our stay. The buffet had a good variety and was enjoyable. Overall, it was a great experience, plus the location is very convenient since it’s close to the airport. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

Krikee!! This place was like a small city, huge property!! It was holiday season n its decorations were sensational. Very warm, comfortable, almost Norman Rockwell like atmosphere. Variety of restaurants, coffee spots, phenomenal location, walking distance to near by local shops n churchs. Room was spot on- clean, roomy, AC worked, beautiful bathrooms, friendly staff. You get get lost in this hotel. Didn't get to explore more of the Property but it was a sweet stay. Wasn't cheap and definitely on higher end of bank but I'd go back!!

Loved our stay here. The staff was so friendly and helpful, our room attendant Laila was very helpful as well and did a great job with our room and requests. The M Club staff was also very gracious and helpful. Jaja, Jon and Fatima all great. Highly recommend staying here. Near airport and central to all other attractions!

Dear Team, I am writing to formally express my disappointment regarding my recent experience at Sheraton Manila Bay / Sheraton Airport Newport Manila and Marriott Hotel Manila. During my visit to Sheraton Airport Newport Manila, I dined at one of the restaurants and inquired whether I could redeem my Marriott Bonvoy points for the dining bill. The staff consulted with their superior and eventually informed me that point redemption was not possible and that points could only be used for room reservations. Unsatisfied with this explanation, I went to the nearby Marriott Hotel Manila to seek clarification. After a lengthy discussion, both the Front Office Supervisor and the Duty Manager informed me that their property does not have any system that allows Marriott Bonvoy points to be redeemed for dining at Marriott properties. This experience was extremely frustrating and disappointing. As a Marriott Bonvoy member, I expected consistent information and knowledgeable staff across Marriott properties. The conflicting explanations, long discussions, and lack of clear guidance made me feel undervalued as a guest and member. Ultimately, I left the property feeling dissatisfied and regretting my decision to book with Marriott on this occasion. I respectfully request: Clear clarification regarding Marriott Bonvoy point redemption for dining An explanation as to why staff across multiple properties were unable to provide accurate or consistent information Appropriate service recovery for the inconvenience and dissatisfaction caused I have always trusted the Marriott brand for its service standards, and I hope this matter will be addressed seriously to prevent similar experiences for other guests. Thank you for your time and attention. I look forward to your response. Thank you

Great Stay in a Spacious, Premium Room We stayed in a Guest Executive Room (West Wing), which is one of their premium offerings. The room is incredibly spacious, even the bathroom, and features a lovely sunrise balcony with a golf course view. My only small critique for a premium room is the lack of a bathtub. Service & Security: Staff are friendly, and the guards are outstanding with security. Amenities: The Gym is excellent, spacious, and well-equipped. The sauna is separated (his and hers), and the locker room is large and clean. The rooftop pool is small but sufficient, and the hot tub is great, though it might get crowded. Dining: The Breakfast Buffet is just okay—nothing particularly noteworthy. Location Note: Prices are typically ₱10,000 and up. Be aware that the nearby Casino (near Marriott) has poor ventilation, making the smoking area unpleasant. Overall, a solid 4-star experience.

I stayed at Marriott Hotel twice. It feels perfectly suited for business trips. The café and restaurant have an amazing vibe, and the room service is quick and reliable. And while the rooms aren’t very high-tech, they’re comfortable and well-maintained. The location is a big plus, right in Newport City, it’s easy to get around whether you’re heading to the airport, nearby malls, or just exploring the area. The atmosphere has a mix of old-school sophistication yet elegant vibes, which gives the place a character. The property itself is quite big to explore, offering a sense of space and calm even when it’s busy. Overall, it’s a convenient and comfortable stay that combines accessibility, and reliable service. Everything you’d want when traveling for business.

We checked in last October 15 at Room 508 and we were welcomed by the staff at the lobby with a smile. We were assisted by the Room attendant to our room. The room was cozy and perfect for our family. We would like to commend the Room Attendants that assisted us for the whole stay Ms. Rona, Ms. Mary Joy and Ms. Christine . Making sure our room is immaculately clean. And also to the Supervisors Mr. Roel and Ms. Regie for making sure our requests and concerns are attended. We have another upcoming checkin this coming November and we know that we will experience again the same experience because of the exceptional staff that Marriott Hotel Manila have. Kudos Marriott!!

Conveniently located near the airport and connected to a mall and casino and a number of other hotels. Very pleased with the food options in the hotel as well as nearby. The neighborhood itself is nothing to speak of. It’s next to a golf course owned by the military so you can’t walk over there. I wanted to go for a run in the neighborhood and ended up just going through the nearby streets, which are actually fairly decent for a low-income neighborhood. Definitely felt safer than I would have in the United States. And surprisingly no homeless people roaming about. It’s just that the air is horribly polluted and humid, so glad I was just visiting. The suite itself was very nice and well kept. Amenities were as expected and the staff was super friendly and helpful. They treat their Marriott elite rewards customers very well.

Yelp
Beautiful hotel close to Terminal 3 of the NAIA Airport. There was a casino, a mall and a food hall with plenty of restaurants attached to it. We ordered Filipino breakfast but I was so hungry that I forgot to take a picture. Oh no!

Yelp
Manila Marriott Hotel - Manila Philippines What a Great Hotel!!!! The hospitality the staff displayed is unmatched, everyone you encountered greeted you and provided service with a smile. They really make you feel that your comfort and satisfaction is important to them. The hotel itself is modern, clean and well maintained. The amenities include a full gym, outdoor swimming pool with jacuzzi, executive suite (a quiet place to eat and snack throughout the day), in house spa and full bar that offers snacks and food throughout the day. The food is amazing... the breakfast buffet has so many varieties of fresh, hot dishes to choose from, all kinds of fresh fruits and vegetables. I will admit that I tasted as many pastries as I possibly could and loved everyone!!! Although the property is outstanding it's the people... the staff really makes this a special place. I wouldn't want to stay anywhere else in the Philippines!!!

Yelp
Although we were only at this place for 1 day and it was well worth it. When we arrived, we quickly checked in and the bell desk took up our luggage after checking in. The bags did pass through an x-ray scanner before they wete brought into the hotel. We were able to get two rooms that included the upgraded free breakfast and one of the rooms had a complimentary chocolate dish with a thank you note included upon check in. The rooms were spacious with one being quite spacious and included a king size bed, table and chairs, huge tv, spacious shower and hot tub with privacy curtains, and tons of bottled water, coffee/tea, mini bar, safe, spots to store your clothing, slippers, and robe. They also included a good amount of toiletries. Almost both rooms were identical except that one had a view (along with balcony) overlooking the golf course and the other did not. It's nice that the key cards were coded to allow us to be able to go to the floors that we had access to. We checked in at the main lobby but realized we could've also checked in at the executive lounge. The bar service there closes at 9:30pm and we got in right before the service closed. They had appetizers and snacks with service starting at 5:30pm, so we got in right before they stopped but after the good stuff was mostly gone. We did manage to swing by for breakfast and they had a nice continental spread. In the executive lounge they also have a boardroom/meeting room available for use first come first serve. The breakfast included at Manila Cafe was quite the experience. They had different stations with Western style items, dim sum, salad, Filipino style, a fruit section, patry and bread section, fresh squeezed juices, coconut water (buko) and even a guy in a Taho cart and someone else bringing around hot chocolate. It was an amazing sight with presentation being key. The service was also top notch with the staff readily available when needed. We ended up checking out the gym since we needed to work off all the food we'd been eating. The gym was on a higher floor and had a view overlooking the city--Makati and BGC. The pool is outside, one level up and has one of the best views. Infinity pool with bar outside and some lounge chairs. The bathrooms outside have access to private sauna (separate one for males and females), steam room, shower, bathroom, lockers. Pretty nice amenities. The fitness center is in a studio space with some exercise bikes, treadmills, ellipticals, free weights, weight rack, exercise machines, medicine balls, mats, etc. It was a pretty nice setup and they also had a couple of tvs. The staff was in and out regularly and they cleaned off some machines during the time we were in the gym. The amenities were pretty nice, views spectacular, service was top notch. If I ever get a chance to stay here again, I'd do it. No complaints and they made me feel very welcome and important.

Yelp
We have stayed in three different Marriott hotels in the last three weeks. This one has by far been the best! The rooms are huge, the beds are comfortable and the staff is friendly and caters to your every need. They stored our luggage, took us to the LBC (post office) when we needed to mail a package and were always there to answer questions or call us a Grab (uber) when we needed one. There are four pools here but we spent most of our time at the rooftop pool with an amazing view and a bar. I highly recommend getting a massage here, it was so relaxing. If you are a member, the executive lounge is incredible! They had breakfast, snacks and dinner and all the food was delicious. We will for sure be staying here again when we come back in a few years!

Yelp
Very secure hotel with metal detectors and all before entering the lobby. Sorry kinda new to me. A safe place to walk around but don't ever let your guard down of course. We walk in the front lobby and fyi for Bonvoy members, you have to go to the west wing. It's a little fancier. I got the 2 queen beds in a larger room with a golf course view. Clean room with complimentary fresh fruit every morning. The staff was very friendly. Amenities are awesome, especially the rooftop infinity pool overlooking Manila is a nice place just to unwind. The gym is sufficient for a good workout. The elevator is responsive and doesn't take long. For Bonvoy members lounge is awesome and worth it. Unlimited cappuccino need I say more? Highly recommend this place. SYOY manila

Yelp
Checked in on feb 18, past 7 pm. Helpful staff, bellman helped us with our luggages as we came in from a flight abroad. Check in process was quick and efficient, agent was friendly and informative. I believe we were in the west wing, but it was a couple of minutes of walk from the check in counter to the room. Bellman delivered our luggages which was great. Room was amazing, great space that we were able to use as we had to repack our luggages. We liked the separate toilet and shower. Toiletries provided were appreciated. Plenty of usb plugs and outlets. Bed and pillows was comfy, we wished we stayed longer than 1 night but we had to catch another flight the next day. Overall, I highly recommend staying here. Hope to come back in the future!

Yelp
Five star experience because of excellent amenities. customer service and hospitality. We've used our points and free stays as Marriott Bonvoy card members but compared to other Marriott stays in the U.S., the Philippines Marriott beats the rest in terms of property features, opulence and customer service. It is more of the upper end JW Marriott and 5 star resort feel. What separates it from other properties outside is the distinctive experience of Filipino hospitality. It is at its best and competes with the rest of the world. From a gruelling Northern trip (Ilocos LU Pangasinan) we arrived in Pasay City raggedy Anns. There was some confusion on which entrance to use (Parking is indicated at the corner street but no Check-In). Or we missed the notice totally because it was too non-descript? Our experience of warmth and hospitality started the minute we alighted from our van with the security and porter helping to organize our luggages to the front desk where Keneth painstakingly answered our questions. Everyone had a smile - that is most effective and puts guest in their best behavior. It's very disarming. Every encounter we have with staff make me sit up and score each one with a 5 star for warmth. How do you temper just the right level of hospitality without having to be subservient? That is a rather tricky balance for staff trainers and hotel managers. I, being Filipino, do not want my fellow kababayans to be thought of as perfect servants. We are more than that and we should also have inherent pride without the arrogance. So many faces that I couldn't remember but there's Danilo at the Cafe Marriott who made our last breakfast so well catered for and fun and comfortable. Or the manager at the Executive Lounge who showed us around. The staff at the Roofdeck on our last day. Our housekeeper yesterday. We are so grateful. As a nurse in a nursing home and my sister who manages another one, we are in the same position and we know the amount of patience and dedication needed for being in the service industry. Kudos to Marriott Manila's staff. There is however, one advice. While the golf course is a great view and gives an Oasis sort of experience, staff and management need to do a smell check. There is a distinctive odor emanating from the golf course suggesting stagnant water. All in all. Thank you Marriott Philippines - you are truly a gem. And thank you Bonvoy.

Yelp
Bruce Winton is the man! We stay here once a year when we are in town and we love the ambiance, large space, extremely hospitable staff from front desk, bellhop, restaurant, cleaning, gym and buffet is wonderful. We had a plumbing issue but they would quickly resolve it. I only hope that the staff would respond when I email about an upcoming reservation. Nevertheless, we look forward each year we go for the experience of a lovely stay.

Yelp
I was so lucky to be taken to the Manila Marriott. My rating is a 4+. They had beautiful decor during the Christmas season. In addition, they display local artist's work in an exhibition along the hallway between the wings of the hotel. I enjoyed using the rooftop pool and exercise room, which have a stunning view of the City. The breakfast buffet featured traditional food and regional cuisines, but my favorites were the beautiful desserts and fish dishes with sweet and sour sauce. The service was impeccable as well as the cleanliness and furnishings. I had only one dissatisfaction over the 2 days. Housekeeping staff use a glass disinfectant that had an offensive smell to me. While it was consistently evident that all entry and elevator doors were sparkling clean, the chemical odor of that cleaning agent was unpleasant. Alas, the whiff similar to "Scrubbing Bubbles" is not something that enhances their brand.

Yelp
I used to love this hotel until I found out last minute that complimentary airport shuttle services were cancelled 17 June 2022. I wasn't informed of this until a day prior I emailed the hotel for instructions on how to locate this service. It would have been nice if this was mentioned when I reserved a room. I believe and hope this service of the 5 star hotel will be included in the future. There are many other hotels in the area with lesser rates that still provides this with timely and clear communication. After I inquired for other ways of transportation to the hotel, I was told that they are able to do a private pick up WITH costs. With rooms over $300, I was hoping to be able to receive the same standard service that was provided previously. See the hotel's response to my inquiry.

Yelp
I just returned from a 3 week stay at the Marriott Manila and happily used this property as my home base. I highly recommend this location. The service was fantastic! The food in lounge was great and the Steak house was also delicious. Going up and meeting Raymond in the gym and pool deck was the best! His customer service is above and beyond. He found me swim trunks for my grandkids that came to visit and he made the best Mango smoothies. He also can book the spa for you and asked us everyday if he could book us an appt. He always got us the time desired and the spa is fabulous! A great value and a great service if you're feeling a bit of jet lag or just want to be spoiled. I left to go to go to Japan a few days and El nido a few days and upon my return my room was always clean and they did my laundry. I can't say enough about the staff and amazing service me and my family experienced. I only recommend that you download the "Grab" app for transportation because the hotel transport is very overpriced. The airport is very close and should not be $65 for a ride. Certain gates are also walkable to and from the hotel. Lots of fun places to walk to in the area and an attached mall as well. So much fun! I will return! Say hi to Raymond for me ... everybody loves Raymond!

Yelp
Excellent customer service! Kudos to all that works here! Front Desk agent Jan for being very accommodating cheerful and helpful. Housekeeping Virginia who's always happy to help and maintained impeccable cleanliness of my room and the attentive restaurant manager Anj that folded my table napkin when I got up to get my food caught my attention. Paying attention to small details goes a long way. Jheng also at the restaurant gave an excellent customer service when we had our breakfast before checking out. Overall, a delightful stay with top-notch hospitality. You guys are amazing and are true definition of great customer service.

Yelp
The best hotel in the far-east: the staff make you feel Manila Marriott is only hotel to be in. From stepping out of your cab - to finally settling in, nothing compares to the warm welcome everyone at the West Wing bring to you- no matter what time of the day it is. Shout out to Jiggz Jestre of housekeeping- he makes sure your room is not only sparkling clean but also follows-up to make sure it's how you want it to be: your amenities and supplies abound and if there is more of anything you need. This is so important to me because of the odd hours I maintain considering I am 15 hours behind by time zone origin. This kind of attention to details in my room made me work and rest without missing a beat. And then there's the operations and lounge staff - they make sure you you don't miss your meals, your spot in the lounge best for working and relaxing, and your needs for comfort matters most for them. So let us thank Mr. Melvin Angeles who makes sure his staff look after everyone- from spot guests to titanium lifetime elites- everyone gets the the same best services and attention to detail we all deserve. Special mention to Nikko Quinto- fresh from school and yet already extremely energetic in getting all your needs to work and not get hungry at the same time. Everyone here deserve the best shout out for making Manila Marriott the benchmark of hospitality, comfort, and safety for all hotels in it's class!

Yelp
I am bias as I am a lifetime Titanium with Marriott/Bonvoy but my experience her was great. Great service in the executive lounge, the executive tower is away from ghe main tower and overlooks the Golf course and out to BGC. At nigh it is ama I g view, private gym and pool on the top floor of the executive tower, can still use main pool and all those facilities but why? Several great Resturants, from a Steak house to traditional Chinese. Attached to the mall with many outstanding eating options there including a Wolfgang's Steakhouse. Executive lounge and staff top notch, great food and service and open 24 hours. Only one thing I wish they would do is make an arrangement eigg to h ghe golf course gor Tee times and ghe ability to walk from the hotel to the golf shop

Yelp
So this is THE hotel to stay at if you're Sharon Cuneta, Gabby C or the créme de la créme of the Philippines. I gotta say as a first time visitor to the Philippines I thought I was in Vegas at the cosmo. It's huge and very clean and fancy. The room was very nice and modern, however the pool was less than stellar. Being that Manila is so polluted the hotel needs to hire people to clean the glass banisters daily as they build up with mildew and pollution which makes the area less than Instagram ready for visitors paying an arm and a leg to stay here. Manila really should look into searching out the electric car thing as the traffic is so bad in metro Manila they have people in the middle of the road selling bottled water and snacks for us sitting waiting. I know why so many people hire drivers. Ohh most importantly about the hotel, the gym was like 95 humid degrees. As an epileptic I was dying. Had to leave.

Yelp
At first we were a little concerned booking such a large hotel near the airport. We weren't going to a convention or conference. We just knew we would want a place to stay after a long flight. We loved every minute of our time at the Manila Marriott Hotel. First, check in was great. They had our room ready and our bags were delivered very fast. At first we just needed to sleep and we did. No one bothered us, the area was quiet and the room was cool. Our room had 2 Queen beds and a beautiful bathroom. It was super clean and we had a view. Once we woke up, we ordered room service and were just so happy with the food. It was hot, exactly as ordered and did not take long. It was heaven. We decided to prolong our stay by a day and took that time to relax by their pretty new looking, large pool. We had dinner at their steak house. Check out was just as easy. The staff was great. We just loved it. Have a great time.

Yelp
Five Yelp stars for this hotel! Loved they had a shuttle from the airport to this hotel (look for the Resorts World shuttle). If you take a taxi here from the airport, the drivers will probably complain that it's too close, it should not be more than 100 pesos. This area, Pasay, there are tons around, and this hotel is connected to the Resorts World Casino and the Newport Mall. I loved this location because shopping and restaurants were all within walking distance, and you didn't have to go out and deal with the humidity, heat, and traffic. If you are part of the Bonvoy family and have status, the hotel has another section of the building dedicated for those folks, with their own rooftop pool, gym, and the ultimate access to the Executive Lounge! The lounge is top notch, probably up there with the other Marriott lounges. The food is excellent, they serve up Filipino fare along with other essentials when it comes to breakfast and lunch. The main building of the hotel includes a couple of restaurants, spa, pool and gym area. The lobby area is very spacious and is also great for entertaining if guests come to visit. The overall hotel has a luxurious and modern atmosphere which is felt into the hotel rooms and bathrooms. And they have comfy beddings! The hotel is gated and has a guard upon entering or exiting on the driveways. Upon entering, take note, all bags and individuals entering the premises will go through a security scanner. I appreciated that when I called for a taxi, before leaving, the guards took down the taxi number in case anything happened to us. I felt very safe staying here. Everyone that worked there were friendly and helpful, and they all speak English well.

Yelp
This is the executive lounge for the Manila Marriott hotel. I love this lounge because everyone here is super gracious and helpful. I am truly impress with the level of service that I have received here. Their manager is Marnelli and she is simply fantastic. Karloss here is also an exceptionally gifted and hard working guy! Overall this place is fantastic!

Yelp
Arrived after a 14 hr flight to the sight of the Marriott driver waiting in the curb for the complimentary transfer. Van had good A/C and driver was polite. Check in was a breeze and the lobby was clean and staff was helpful. The executive suite on the 8th flr (#836) was worth every penny ($380/ night), spacious with full amenities and a beautiful view of the golf course and commercial district. Breakfast and happy hour (top shelf alcohol) at the lounge was awesome. We didn't need to go elsewhere. We had a very relaxing time. Casino and shops are in the same building. Thank you Precious for making up our room efficiently and generously refilling our toiletries. Thank you also to the guy preparing our waffles and pancakes (sorry forgot his name) every morning. Truly a wonderful stay and we didn't want the vacation to end.

Yelp
This review is for the just opened (4 weeks ago) West Wing, a new annex to the successful Marriott hotel close to the airport. Just like Jason D here, I've stayed at Marriotts all over the USA, he's done international Marrriott visits. First, I was taken aback, as soon as I arrived via the car service, I was met at the curb in front of the wing, addressed by my name and taken straight to my room and checked in there. Wish I get checked in like this everywhere. I have to say the rooms at the new wing are far superior than the Marriotts and JW Marriotts I've visited. There's a free shoe shine service, everything is delivered to your doorstep with a smile. There are a few features to this building that are very very good. First, it overlooks the golf course (it looks like a plain golf course; not a golfer so I cannot judge golf courses). But that's not all if you get a room on the golf course side, most rooms are upgrade rooms for Marriott and SPG gold members and above, you will typically get a balcony room, if available (their disclaimer). Go out onto this balcony in the morning and you see an expansive Manila skyline, so expansive it rivals what I've seen of SF, NYC and Chicago skylines. Then the Executive lounge (second floor, I miss it already) is open for continental (much more expansive than your standard eggs and croissants). I took pictures for Yelpers here. Then at 2:30p, there's tea and coffee and cakes for the sweet teeth. At 5:30, hors d'oevres with wine, San Miguel and a partial bar. I saw some members make a meal of the small bites here. Everyone in the lounge were served by the staff by fetching anything from the kitchen. At the West Wing, people remember your name too, no lie. A huge shoutout to the staff in the West Wing, you really took care of us. Thank you for picking up my luggage at 6:45 prompt and loading it onto the shuttle efficiently, I made it to my flight on time. My traveling life is so much more pleasurable with the staff there. I'm getting hooked to the customer service of the staff who work here and that is just the icing on an already superior cake. I agree to Manila Marriotts tag line, Travel Brilliantly. I must say there's no Marriott like Manila's. Impressed beyond words. Visits: 5+ Tip: Ask for a room at the West Wing. I could take a shower roll up the blinds to the bathroom and viewed the Manila skyline every morning.

Yelp
When someone asks me my happy place, my favorite place on earth, or my favorite destination, my answer is always the same: Manila Marriott Hotel. It has slowly evolved in the 8 years since I've started coming here. It's much larger, there's two separate buildings, one exclusive to Marriott Rewards members, and there's now a requirement to have Platinum status instead of Golf status to visit the executive lounge. This means that if you're a rewards member, there's two pools, one on the roof of the new building, and one on the second floor of the old building. There's also two gyms. The food in the executive lounge seems a bit worse for dinner than in years past, but better for breakfast. I love that there's always two manga with a napkin and silverware waiting for me. I also love the employees. Everyone from the shuttle driver and to concierge desk seems are as friendly and pleasant as possible. If I ever win the lottery, this is where I'm moving. I've stayed at Marriotts that were 3 times as expensive, and none are as nice as this once. I've also stayed at other hotels, such as Intercontinental, Sheraton, Kimpton, and the combination of Filipino hospitality, tropics, strong dollar, and amazing cuisine, makes this my favorite place.

Yelp
I've stayed here several times and have never been disappointment. It was nothing short of excellent for this Marriott - from their customer service to their amenities. During my recent stay, I was put in the "West Wing" and I have to say, I like it so much better. It's quieter and the rooms are more modern; probably because it's new. The Executive Lounge is also bigger. The location is great; it was close proximity to shops, restaurants and the casino. When I arrived, my room was ready and even received a personal note thanking me for staying and if I needed anything, don't hesitate to ask. It also didn't take long for our bags to be brought to our room; we probably waited no longer than 15mins. And finally, my dinner reservation at the Marriott Cafe was confirmed without any hitch. As far as the room goes, the bed was so comfy that I had no problem falling asleep. And the shower.... my oh my... it was delightful. The water pressure was amazing and relaxing, I didn't want to leave. Our room was big that it fit all my cousins and I (there were 14 of us total) while we wait for our dinner reservation. It was even over looking the golf course. Also, as a Platinum Marriott member, I had access to their Executive Lounge. The lounge was big with a great view of the golf course and Makati skyline. It was a wonderful way to enjoy their breakfast buffet, which by the way, another good meal. There was enough variety to satisfy whatever you're craving. I also appreciated that the lounge was open all day for drinks (water, soda, coffee, etc.) unlike some of their US counterparts. I think that international Marriott hotels have more perks than the US ones. The location is close to the airports and offers free shuttle to/from the airport that leaves every hour on the hour. Which is another reasons why I chose this hotel to stay during my last couple of nights in Manila. Last but definitely not least, every single staff I encountered was absolutely courteous and helpful. Staying at this hotel was an example why I've been a Marriott member for a decade now. I highly recommend staying here because I would again.

Yelp
One of the best Marriott locations I've stayed at. I've stayed here twice and both times exceeded my expectations. Although this hotel is more on the pricier side, you will not regret one bit. With the convenient location to the airport as well as the complimentary Resorts World Shuttle, transportation to and from NAIA is definitely accessible. Their rooms are super spacious and comes with a welcoming gift of mangoes and silverware! Luckily as Marriott Rewards Members, we were graciously allowed access to WIFI and their Executive Lounge (abundant amount of meal times as well as food & alcoholic/non-alcoholic drink selection). Their pool does come with a limit on guests allowed & require you to sign in at the spa desk. If you wanted to grab a drink in the evening, they also play a live band near the bar/lobby area. Since Marriott is part of Resorts World, it is connected to many eateries as well as the Casino if you would like to explore a bit asides from the hotel. Glad to have discovered this location and will definitely return when I come back to the motherland!

Yelp
Just an amazing experience. The people are so friendly, the rooms are so nice, it's all definitely worth the price. You can see through the bathroom wherever you are, but a button in the bathroom makes all the curtains close so that you can't see inside the bathroom. It's super cool, just love it. WiFi is amazing. I was down the block and still connected to the WiFi, can't beat it. Definitely stay here if it's an option for you.

Yelp
Love your hotel! Nice decor. Not overwhelmingly big like other 5 star hotels. It's just right. Sunday mass at 11 AM is walking distance but need 20 min to get thru the maze at the Newport mall, on the 3rd floor , at the far end of the mall.

Yelp
Beautiful and huge hotel! The prominence to hotel's security is very concerning. They even have their own luggage scanner at the entrance of the hotel. They are located right beside the Resort World and have their own entrance to the casino. You can't go to the rooms as well unless you have a key or they will call the guest if you are expected. Somehow, I was very impressed with the room and the ambience. We were at the third floor and the view was awesome view of Makati/Manila/Fort. Bed was nice, huge, and comfortable. The bathroom was very charming too. Rain-shower, marvelous tub, and spacious room separated from the toilet itself. Staff are very friendly and the smiles are very comforting! They never failed to greet you whenever you will encounter them anywhere. Cleanliness everywhere is another bonus points. Wifi is free if you're a Marriott Elite member. I liked the welcome pair of sweet, authentic, delicious Philippine mango! I will give them five stars because of that! I ended up giving them four stars because their room rate is really expensive. Find it hard to get a good deal anywhere else. But you'll get what you paid for. I'm just happy I was able to experience the luxury of staying here while in Manila.

Yelp
I love this place so much! Hotel feels luxurious and staff are very hospitable. I would highly recommend this hotel to Anybody. Must stay at the West Wing, newer and more spacious for a little bit more but so worth it!

Yelp
A very quiet place to stay. All the staff are very courteous and responds quickly to any questions I have. I will come back again in the near future. I highly recommend this 5 Resort/Hotel.

Yelp
Good hotel to stay in. Staff is very accommodating and the room is very clean and well equiped and stocked. We just had a few glitches. The TV has a sound bar but the sound is not synced to the motion of the TV. Therefore, it is very annoying to watch a movie. There are usb plugs across the room, not all of them works though.

Yelp
Great choice when staying in Manila. Terrible issue with traffic, but that's to be expected. Below average on transportation to the airport, either to much time on the shared shuttle or fat to expensive by hotel car.

Yelp
The Marriot Hotel suite is nice and cozy, thought a bit cramped for a suite. It has two toilets, so if you have a guest, they don't have to enter the master toilet and bath. The staff service is efficient and they're friendly too. I love the executive lounge access where you can have a cocktail at 5:30, and a few selection of cheeses (on top of the other options in the buffet spread). Can't give this a five star because I can smell the third-hand cigarette smoke in the lobby, otherwise, I'm quite satisfied with the hotel!

Yelp
Just like the Marriott here in the USA , they maintained a superb cleanliness of the hotel . Good quality food . Staying at the west wing part of the hotel gives me the comfort, relaxation , and peace away from the whole hustle and bustle of the main tower. Majority of the staff are exceptionally professional , well trained to cater high quality hospitality the Marriott group is known for . 1 rotten employee doesn't make the whole bunch rot . Instead of wasting my time to speak to his supervisor regarding his awful behavior, giving a high remark and a good tip towards his co workers is a better comeback .

Yelp
Ok I haven't even checked out yer but I don't think things will get better here. First of all it took us almost 2 hours to check in because I had a corporate rate and they asked for a million proofs that I was employed. Then I booked 2 rooms and at 3p we got our room key for one room and the other room wasn't ready. What is going on. I don't get it and check in is at 3p. The card keys inconsistently works in the elevator for floor access. Not just ours but noticed at least 5-6 guests with same isssues. By 7pm we went to check on our 2nd room which as supposed to be ready my 3pm and the gentleman tells me he forgot to call us since they were so busy but they switched our rooms. Whatttt??? Customer service is so lacking. Next day it's 3:30pm and they have not made up our room yet. I called to ask for 2 towels and they came up with 2 bottled water. Not sure how much more I can take of this. I don't recommend staying here. The price does not reflect the quality. Tomorrow I will need airport transfer and they are charging 2500pesos. So disappointed in @marriott.#marriott. Should've found a Hilton

Yelp
This hotel is so fancy. I've never been in a fancy hotel like this ever even when I'm in the states. The staff always say sir/ma'am and this hotel smells so nice.

Yelp
I've stayed at Marriott hotels around the world and this hotel is hands down the best I've stayed at in 20+ years of staying at Marriott hotels and here is why. The hotel itself looks great, clean, well laid out and secure from the moment you enter. The reception staff was absolutely great, had everything in order for my room and several day stay. So This type of reception is expected and is typical of Marriott 'check ins'. This is where for me the differentiator began. I had a number of special requests, item pick ups, people arriving to meet, etc. Everything went off without hitch and was followed up by a letter/memo sent to my room with the details of each 'transaction/handoff'. Now I need to get to the VIP Lounge, for those who have access to this great place on the 8th floor will experience, professionalism, happy smiles and most of all the staff making you feel like family. Here are a few examples, I had a rather not well planned check out. My follow up contact was late in getting to me with the follow up plans check out. So I extended my stay an extra day expecting to leave very early the next morning ~5AM. On the last night of my stay Louis Diocquino in the VIP lounge became aware of my 'not so critical' situation, but stepped up to make it as good an early check out as possible. He offered and set up breakfast to be packaged and delivered to my room with hot coffee (out of VIP lounge hours). Expedited my check out so I wouldn't have to pass through the front desk. The departure plans were perfect. Well, my plans changed and it turned out that the early check out was cancelled. I called Louis in the VIP lounge to update him and with his always happy voice expressed it was no problem at all with all the sincerity in the world. With these examples I want to emphasize that for me it was he staff that makes the Marriott Hotel Manila a success (the hotel is immaculate also). And with that said I feel I need to name the staff, because they are truly the ones who inspired me to write this review. If you are fortunate enough to stay here I hope you get to meet one of the absolutely fabulous people mentioned below: VIP LOUNGE: - She Ann (VIP Lounge) - Louis (VIP Lounge) - Kaycee (VIP Lounge) - Gellifer (VIP Lounge) - Angelo (VIP Lounge) - Micah (VIP Lounge) - Belle (VIP Lounge) - Arthur (VIP Lounge) - Aubrey (VIP Lounge) - Marivie (VIP Lounge) - Terens (VIP Lounge) - Maraneli (VIP Lounge) - Anthony (VIP Lounge) Lobby Lounge: - Naldo - Kaye (And others I may have missed) If you're visiting Manila, stay here, if you're passing through, stay here, meet some friends and get refreshed. I will leave here with some very fond memories....

Yelp
If you travel in the US and stay at Marriott, it can be hit or miss. This property hits it out of the ballpark! Doors are opened upon your arrival to a welcoming check in process. Everyone makes sure to say good morning, afternoon and evening. The staff is the most helpful than any other Marriott location I've stayed. It may be a bit pricey. I found it to be worth its price and then some. Definitely will stay again if I have the opportunity.

Yelp
Fabulous hotel that's a quick drive to the airport and has a casino and Resorts World attached to it. You literally don't have to leave this place. Has so much to do! They have two pools, one in the west and east wing. Although the East Wing has the better pool with the bar. There's a wide selection of food options but be reminded, you are at a Marriott so prices are that of the USA. The buffet looked good but prices around $30US and up. I didn't have time to sit outside but check out the nice patio right after you walk in the main entrance to the end. Looked like a nice relaxing spot. Check in was easy and staff was nice. One complaint I would mention is it was hard to get a hold of he front desk from our room phone. We called the services line so we could add a name to the room and they kept transferring it to the front desk and they never answered. Other than that it's a great place. Oh and they have a golf course in he back !

Yelp
This is a great hotel so expect to pay for quality. We stayed here for two nights due to a wedding for friend's brother's wedding. Had brunch both days.

Yelp
This place is the safe, clean oasis, I needed during my layover visit. The airport in Manila is pure garbage and this Marriott is a bastion of customer service and relaxation. We stayed here just one night and it was fun. We tossed our bags in the room and headed to the resort world casino, without having to leave the secure compound. We gambled till 4 in the morning and then hopped on the free shuttle to the airport to catch our flight out. Thank you Marriott, as always you are the best in customer service of all the places I visit in the entire world!

Yelp
Great decor and location, it's in the posh area of Manila. It's connected to the World Resorts casino which has a great food court, great for travelers looking diverse options. The staff is very nice and professional, high class and accommodating. The standout is Krys the concierge who helped me with my excursion planning. She assisted as an intermediary with the logistics and connected with the Travel agent, she even went as far as securing the confirmation and accepting the payment. As an SPG member I expect nothing but the best in Travel servicing, the Marriott in Manila lives up to it.

Yelp
I cannot say enough about the Manila Mariott. The staff were all professional and courteous. They have drivers you can hire for the day. Believe me in Manila traffic, the last thing you want to do for vacation/work meetings is be behind the wheel. Our eldest daughter was sick and they have a doctor on staff. She came up to our room and examined our daughter that has a sore throats and prescribed antibiotics. The visit cost about $13 AUD. The hotel then offered to pick up the medicine and deliver to our room. Being that this was just after midnight it was greatly appreciated. On a different topic there are two pools. For my money though you should go to the roof top pool that has amazing views of the Manila CBD. You can order food and drink service for delivery. The buffet is good and seemed to be good value.

Yelp
A very good hotel. Large, nice, clean, modern rooms. Good service, very good breakfast buffet. Right in front of the airport but take the Manila traffic into account!!!

Yelp
No bargains at Marriott, but its the best hotel at Resorts World. Buffett is sumptuous. Service at all levels is impeccable. Rooms are well appointed with big tubs and separate shower. TV service is good, the new sound bar took 10 minutes for me to turn on, but worked well once I figured out the remote. The aircon/heater controls are NOT EASY to work. (My room was mostly too cold, sometimes too hot.) A great SPA is onsite, although expect to pay double price compared to similar spas in Makati. Across from NAIA Terminal 3, the location is also close to Mall of Asia. Good restaurants onsite, and several malls close by. I have a condo in Manila, and still go to Marriott for a weekend of 'pampering' every now and then.

Yelp
Jana and Frank the workers at the gym were so kind to help me put my T25, video workout tape in the TV at the Gym. They deserve kudos here, because in the U.S., the employees would not be so accomadating

Yelp
This is one of the new hotels around the airport, so it's great if you're having a layover and you prefer to stay around the airport to avoid traffic - which is not such a bad idea. It's a Marriott Hotel, so the service here is quite spot on and professional. The rooms are very spacious and plush and there are quite a few dining options. The food here runs a little on the expensive side but the selection of food is quite good. Make sure to try the signature iced tea, which has lots of fresh juice! It's super refreshing and it's a tall glass too. The lobby can see quite a few people in and out. So if you're looking for a relaxing vacation-vibey place to stay, then this is not it. It's more of a business hotel, judging from the guests that chose to stay in this hotel. Of course, there's the casino and lots of other shops, restaurants, and hotels nearby. So you won't be in lack of things to do if you chose to stay here.

Yelp
Terrible experience here. We had a prepaid reservation made in the US before we headed to Manila. Marriott folks assured us the hotel bill would be paid via this credit card I used to make this reservation, as the stay was a gift for my brother and his family. When they arrived, the staff at the desk charged them for their rooms a second time! Trying to solve this problem and the robots in the Philippines are going around in circles. I had no problem when doing this at a Sheraton hotel. Save yourself the headaches and don't stay here! So much for my elite status. Why bother!

Yelp
Checked in 2 days ago and everything from the lobby, guest rooms, pool, spa, cafe were clean spotless (live the floral arrangements) The hotel staff - front desk, concierge, bell, housekeeping, room service, cafe servers and cooks are friendly, knowledgeable and attentive to your needs. Have to point out the welcoming smile of all their hotel staff... beautiful! I love the Marriott Hotel Manila!

Yelp
After several stays, this Marriott does not disappoint in any means. The rooms are spacious, and luxurious. The amenities at the hotel make it so you could have a full vacation without leaving the site. Two swimming pools, a full spa, and amazing masseuses.
