On the Grid : Manka

"Everything you see at the shop is made by Monika, who is a graphic designer, and who opened this tiny, cute shop with her husband Pisti. You can find illustrations, handmade framed pictures, shopper bags, T-shirts and even jewelry. You can buy funny things with dachshunds." - Stylewalker

Stopped by because we were in the neighborhood after a dump run and had one of the best meals we have had in a long time. This is our new favorite breakfast burrito and the saltado was also amazing

I'm so happy this place is open! There's a serious lack of good local restaurants in this area. I came here at 11:30AM and it wasn't busy at all, so maybe I got lucky. I had the Lomo Saltado and it was awesome. Great flavors, tender steak, good portion. The horchata was delicious with a bit more cinnamon than what I usually taste from other places. The condiments bar was well stocked too. Very friendly service! My only suggestion is maybe some music. I will 100% be back often!

Came in on their opening day and tried their enchiladas. They were delicious. Service was great, it looks like a mix of Mexican and Peruvian food. Family owned restaurant. Place was very clean as well. They do have a lot on their menu which can get overwhelming but overall a great experience.

I stopped by their food truck for a quick bite at lunch, and I was delighted with the Carne Asada fries—they tasted fantastic! I'm really pleased with my purchase and would definitely order it again. The ladies running the food truck were very nice and patient, making for an overall great lunch experience.

This place is very popular. Expect to wait during the weekday. I got a juice and a single beef tortilla. (You will get weird looks at this type of order) The tacos are small as with traditional Mexican restaurants. They are corn tortilla, meat and the onion and cilantro. You have the option of mild or hot sauce. Be aware the hot sauce is hot. The staff was efficient and nice I dinged a star because I feel like the prices changed and it’s not reflected in the menu. For my order it was $6 when I expected $4-$5. It also takes a while because this is a very popular spot. aside from the prices the food was good and I would come again to try the burrito or empanadas. Those were the most popular orders

Great food! But they could clean up their front a bit like clean and organize their utensil drawer and make sure their condiments cooler stays closed during the hot summer days. But otherwise really good place to eat.

The person taking our order was very helpful and described some of the more unusual (Bolivian) menu options. Excellent food, we all enjoyed our meals.

Delicious and fresh. Staff was very kind. My food was ready fast. A warm, soft, melty chicken torta was a perfect lunch on this chilly day.
