Manly Bunkhouse

Great hostel if you want to spend some weeks or months without having to look for a room in a shared flat. It’s really chill and easy to make friends. It has a really good backyard and space to keep your surfboards. every room has his own bathroom which is an extra point! Also there is a small quite room to work with your computer if you are working remote. I have been in other hostels and this is the Best option in Manly for sure!

Amazing hostel only a short walk from Manly beach. Lovely rooms, communal area and outdoor space (including a bbq!). It is ran by a lovely family who are really helpful and make you feel very welcome from the moment you arrive!

I will recommend this hostel to anyone that wants to come to Manly. Great location 5 minutes from the beach and 10 minutes from Manly Wharf for easy access to go to the City and 10 minutes to the main street in Manly. Thank you Bunkhouse for having me

Perfect location for a stay in Manly. Angus communicated throughout my booking and arrival. I stayed in a private room. It had everything I required for a 4 day stay. Highly recommend.

Amazing Hostel! Unbelievable location just down the street from Manly town. Good prices, amazing community feel, and top notch staff! Highly recommend for those staying for a few days or longer.

The bunkhouse is probably the best hostel I ever stayed at. I’ve been there two times now, each time for 1-2 months. It is the perfect hostel especially for longer stays. Compared to the other hostels in that area it is a lot more calm and chill and has a lot of long term guests. The vibe in the hostel is like a big family and it’s pretty easy to make good friends there especially as a solo traveler. The rooms are nothing special but cleaned regularly and with their own bathroom and shower. The kitchen has basically everything you would need, gas stove, big oven, toaster and microwave, etc. The staff is also really nice and helpful, especially Alex, she is the best :) I can only recommend to stay here if u come to Sydney, especially if u want to enjoy the beach and surf!

Manly Bunkhouse, thankyou. My stay was intended for 3 days which turned into 3 months and I have been back for short visits since. The family team, facilities and location make the Bunkhouse a perfect place to stay whilst in Manly. So helpful with accommodating you, seeking employment and making you feel at home. I have recommended Bunkhouse to many people on my travels and will continue to. Book that stay, you’ll meet great people and share experiences you won’t forget.

I hesitate between 3 and 4 stars. If you consider the place, cleaning,... it's 3 stars. Rooms are far from being good, bed are not really confortable and they are not really clean... But the welcome is great, the owner comes regularly to say hello and ensure that everything goes right. If you want to be in a quiet place it's the place to be. After 9pm, no alcool in the garden and you have to speak lower for the neighbors. The beach is not so far so you can continue your "after" at the beach so I did. The people there are super nice and talk to each other. The garden is a beatiful place and everybody is having apero there. Then when you travel alone it's great as you make friends quite easily ! The kitchen has everything that you need. The hostel is about 3' walk from the beach and 15' walk from the center of Manly. If tou want to meet people go there, it's super nice, if you like clean places, choose another one !
