Our stay for my wife’s birthday was absolutely perfect from start to finish. When we arrived at our villa, we were greeted with a thoughtful surprise — a bottle of champagne, a delicious cake, and a handwritten birthday card. Every single staff member went above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable. The level of customer service, both at the hotel and in the restaurant, was truly unparalleled. Our beachfront villa was modern, beautifully designed, spotless, and the views… simply breathtaking. The on-site restaurant, Cibaria, was equally impressive — serving fresh, authentic Italian dishes, perfectly complemented by attentive and professional staff. Thank you for making my wife’s birthday so special. It was an experience we will always remember.

Our stay here for our daughter’s birthday was nothing short of perfect. Our daughter had balloons coconut water on ice and cake on arrival. All the staff were lovely and the customer service was above reproach. The room and facilities were top notch and was extremely family friendly. Our kids loved the heated pool and even though it was only 15 outside the pool was warm enough to still enjoy and play. The views are incredible of the beach from the hotel and is a short walk to everything. Though if you don’t want to leave the restaurants and bar are excellent. Thank you for a lovely weekend.

We recently stayed a weekend for my brothers birthday and had an amazing visit. All aspects of our stay were 5 stars! I rarely leave reviews, but the level of service, warmth and genuine care provided by all the staff was well above anything we have experienced before. During our dinner at the bistro, the chef on duty, a Mr Zach Fraser was generous in making us a birthday cake with a candle. The cake was one of his own cheese cake creations and it was incredibly tasty. Not to mention the dinner being excellent as well. The bistro manager was also incredibly gracious in how he looked after us during our visit. Nothing was a problem and we were made to feel very welcome. All in all we loved our stay. The rooms are clean, spacious and comfortable, the bar has an excellent mix of cocktails and quality liquors, but most importantly, the team are all incredibly friendly. The hotel really has a focus on service in a way that is rare these days. Congratulations. We will definitely be back.

I stayed here for three nights this week that has just passed for a work conference and it was the most fantastic experience. I had to call prior to checking in because my car was above the height the restrictions for the parking lot. Belle was absolutely amazing on the front counter and assured me she would take care of everything upon my arrival. When I did arrive Belle did exactly that and my car was valet parked and my luggage was taken up to my room all without any hassle and perfect service! All my questions were answered and the friendly staff were amazing at every stage. The housekeeping was superb every day, and the food served at the conference was well above the quality I've had anywhere else. The views from the lobby and in the breakfast area were phenomenal and the location is right on the beach. Upon checkout I had more 6 star service with the lovely Michelle collecting all my luggage and packing my car for me while I finished the conference. When I needed to leave the lovely front desk staff promptly collected my car and brought it around to the front so I could get home without hassle. Absolutely phenomenal service, will recommend this hotel and their staff to everyone. Well done team, you made this experience the best I've had and I appreciate all your efforts. Look forward to seeing you all next time!

One of the best hotels I’ve stayed at in Aus. The amenities are fantastic. Breakfast Buffet is an absolute must totally worth the $$. The in room mini bar selections were terrific!! Most extensive mini bar I’ve had anywhere in the world actually. We stayed in a double room with our three kids and there was plenty of space! Highly recommend this hotel and the bar down stairs makes the a mean margarita!!!!

We stayed at the Manly Pacific on our wedding night, and it was truly unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, the thoughtful touches in our room and the warm welcome from staff made us feel so celebrated. The team went above and beyond with exceptional, personal service. The breakfast buffet was the best we’ve ever had, the cocktails were amazing, and being upgraded made it even more special. We can’t thank the staff enough for making our first night as a married couple so magical. Highly recommend for a truly memorable stay!

I had the absolute best time at Manly Pacific. Hands down the most beautiful hotel I’ve ever stayed at. The ocean views are incredible, the rooms were sleek, comfortable, and spotless. Every staff member we came across was warm, helpful, and genuinely lovely. You can tell they really care about your experience. I didn’t want to leave and I’m already planning my next stay!

Stayed at the Manly Hotel for a work offsite and had an excellent experience. Rooms were clean, comfortable, and well set up for both rest and productivity. The staff were welcoming and went out of their way to accommodate our group, making the whole stay feel seamless. Location was perfect with easy access to the beach and local cafes, which was great for downtime between sessions. Overall, a fantastic stay that made our offsite both enjoyable and productive.

The Novotel in Manly is alright. It is certainly a tad overpriced for what you get (although I guess you're simply paying for the location). We got a suite (2 bedrooms) and the room itself was nice. The master and the living room overlooked the ocean (obstructed by trees though) and the second bedroom with two twin beds overlooked another hotel with a slight ocean view. The kitchen area was OK - it had a fridge and a microwave. There were two bathrooms and one of them had a shower where the door doesn't go completely to the floor (read: very wet bathroom floor). The hotel itself is nice and the staff is nice as well, but there are very few perks. The rooftop pool is very tiny and has AstroTurf which gets REALLY hot in the sun. Additionally, the WiFi isn't free and the paid WiFi is still iffy at best. You can send texts / emails / iMessages but you can't send pictures or watch videos. There's no way I could work from my laptop, either. There is no complimentary coffee but there is a breakfast buffet. We didn't try it but it looked nice - there was a big organic table with fresh honeycomb. You get a discount if you are staying at the hotel. The main draw of this hotel is its proximity to the wharf, the corso, restaurants, and the beach. Everything we did was in quick walking distance. All in all, the hotel was OK - wouldn't recommend nor discourage.

The property is bit tired, but the location makes up for it. Let's call it a three-star hotel in a five-star setting. Literally across the street from a beautiful beach full of beautiful people, and around the corner from the Corso, with all of Manly's best shops and restaurants. Only a few blocks from the Manly Wharf, providing frequent ferry service to the City, as well. The rooms are reasonably clean and decently appointed. All east-facing rooms have ocean-view balconies, with those on the second floor having a huge patio with seating for 6-8 people. A couple tips; If you're staying on a Saturday and/or Sunday night, request a room on the north side of the hotel, away from the thumping bass coming from the disco. You'll need to join the hotel loyalty program for complimentary wifi. The front desk staff can be a little stuffy, but efficient enough. The breakfast offerings are quite good, with excellent service, as well.

It worked. Smelled really strange and seemed dingy, but it was fine. The staff were all nice. Our suite was really spacious, but definitely needed a makeover. I wouldn't not go back necessarily, but I'd try other places, first.
