We booked the dog friendly room as we had our pups travel with us for their first time. Was disappointed with our overall stay. Room wasn’t very clean - old blood stains were found on the bathroom floor beside the toilet and the bin. The floor didn’t appear to have been mopped. The rug in the bedroom that surrounded the bed had multiple old pee stains from other dogs which was not inviting. Who would want to step on an old stain? I had to ring up the service desk to request some dog bowls once we got into the room and noted there was nothing in the room that would’ve made me think it was pet friendly. I did expect that they would’ve had some items already in the room for my dogs awaiting us, as I had to ring ahead of time and had emailed the hotel weeks ahead to confirm that it was all set for us to go ahead bringing our fur babies. The lifts in the hotel had carpet that also had multiple old stains on it. For a hotel classed as a luxury hotel and for the amount of money spent it was definitely not worth it for me. Not to mention being a hotel that promotes itself on being pet friendly you’re better off getting an Airbnb. Furthermore, the noise from the hallways travelled in to our room and thus detracted from our overall experience given our room was the closest to the lift and people entering and exiting the lift at all hours. In conclusion a regretful stay and a waste of money.

Right from check in the staff were friendly and accomodating. The hotel itself is beautiful with a great rooftop pool and fabulous restaurant and bar. The rooms are spacious and well appointed and the location is great. Across the road to the beach and a couple of blocks to the shopping. There are cafes and restaurants all around the hotel and underground parking was reasonably priced. A great staycation!

Held my wedding at the beautiful Manly Pacific. We loved the Fairy Bower room, and the helpful staff during our site visit. When we were booking our event, Tara was so helpful in answering our questions and ensured we were taken care of in touring the space. We were then handed off to Amy and Ella, who were just the most amazing event planners! Special thank you to Ella who was such an angel to us every step of the way. She made sure our vision came to life, and always had a smile on her face. The lovely staff at reception also made our check in seamless, especially Max from the Beach Club/Concierge. Lastly, kudos to Mariann from Banquets who led the amazing service for our special event

Ive stayed at this hotel several times in all room types. I have an Accor membership and love the Accor group. This time I needed a last min stay and I booked via Expedia. The room we got was on the side of the property it was a standard room with two beds. I didnt know this room type existed, id never expect such a low quality room inside this gorgeous hotel. The room was so noisey that at 11pm I spoke with Surkan at reception and had to move to another room. Surkan is a real asset to this business and truly a compassionate man. I have two little kids and had booked to have a good nights sleep and at midnight was really quite stressed, Im very grateful he could move me. I think rooms 230 to 250 need to be re classified and sold much cheaper than $677 per night!

Overall experience was good. However, there were times we needed to contact the reception desk and called multiple times without an answer, which was disappointing. The room was clean and well presented, but the lack of screen doors on the balcony meant insects could easily enter even with the glass doors closed. We paid extra for an ocean-view room, yet unfortunately couldn’t enjoy the sea breeze due to the absence of screen doors which was an extreme disappointment. We also experienced mosquitoes and ants in the room, which was particularly concerning for me as I am currently pregnant. Despite these issues, the location is absolutely perfect 10/10 for convenience and views. With improved service responsiveness and the installation of balcony screen doors, this hotel could easily offer a five-star experience.

The service, the room, and the facilities were incredibly poor. Some highlights: The room had a massive leak from the bathroom into the carpet so we had to hop over discoloured, wet carpet the entire stay. We reported it and the team said “ok, thanks”. There was an electrical problem that led to unwanted disco lights in the room from the overhead lights constantly flashing, also reported, also had no response from the team. We asked for extra pillows and towels. Neither arrived. I ended up grabbing some off a housekeeping trolley. We ordered a cheese platter on arrival, it was not there, we asked for it, still didn’t arrive. At 6pm they asked if we still wanted it, I said leave it for tomorrow. The next day we were sitting in the bar and I requested it. They said it would take 15min, it was over an hour before it arrived. The pool was full of gross scum/ oil in the morning before we got in. It was also completely inaccessible to anyone with mobility issues. We had mentioned the trip was a birthday present for my son- no acknowledgement of that at all. The whole hotel was just extremely budget- which I would have been completely fine with if I was paying a budget price- but it was incredibly expensive. I travel a lot and am a gold Accor member- I have never had such a poor experience. I am actually really angry and disappointed. Complete waste of money.

The hotel itself, the restaurants, the pools, the rooms and the location are all top notch.||What let it down is there are only 2 lifts - so you spend a huge amount of time waiting for lifts. There are stairs which you are encouraged to use - but when you walk up them - you find the exit door to the room floor is locked so you have to walk all the way back to reception again to get the lift. I mentioned this on several occasions but it was never resolved.||The car parking is an absolute joke - there are only limited spaces, which should be allocated on a first come first served basis but the hotel basically overbooks which means that there are nearly double the number of cars in that should fit. This means if you need to exit early in the morning - it is a lottery if you can actually get your car out. I would suggest the hotel should partner with the local council to arrange more overflow arrangements.

We loved our stay at the Manly Pacific. It's like a little slice of Europe or California, in the heart of Sydney. The view from our Infinity Residence Terrace was stunning. We lounged on the deck chairs, took dips across the road in the ocean, chilled by the rooftop pool and dined at top-notch Cibaria. The staff were so welcoming and accommodating. We'll definitely be bac!

Yelp
The Novotel in Manly is alright. It is certainly a tad overpriced for what you get (although I guess you're simply paying for the location). We got a suite (2 bedrooms) and the room itself was nice. The master and the living room overlooked the ocean (obstructed by trees though) and the second bedroom with two twin beds overlooked another hotel with a slight ocean view. The kitchen area was OK - it had a fridge and a microwave. There were two bathrooms and one of them had a shower where the door doesn't go completely to the floor (read: very wet bathroom floor). The hotel itself is nice and the staff is nice as well, but there are very few perks. The rooftop pool is very tiny and has AstroTurf which gets REALLY hot in the sun. Additionally, the WiFi isn't free and the paid WiFi is still iffy at best. You can send texts / emails / iMessages but you can't send pictures or watch videos. There's no way I could work from my laptop, either. There is no complimentary coffee but there is a breakfast buffet. We didn't try it but it looked nice - there was a big organic table with fresh honeycomb. You get a discount if you are staying at the hotel. The main draw of this hotel is its proximity to the wharf, the corso, restaurants, and the beach. Everything we did was in quick walking distance. All in all, the hotel was OK - wouldn't recommend nor discourage.

Yelp
The property is bit tired, but the location makes up for it. Let's call it a three-star hotel in a five-star setting. Literally across the street from a beautiful beach full of beautiful people, and around the corner from the Corso, with all of Manly's best shops and restaurants. Only a few blocks from the Manly Wharf, providing frequent ferry service to the City, as well. The rooms are reasonably clean and decently appointed. All east-facing rooms have ocean-view balconies, with those on the second floor having a huge patio with seating for 6-8 people. A couple tips; If you're staying on a Saturday and/or Sunday night, request a room on the north side of the hotel, away from the thumping bass coming from the disco. You'll need to join the hotel loyalty program for complimentary wifi. The front desk staff can be a little stuffy, but efficient enough. The breakfast offerings are quite good, with excellent service, as well.

Yelp
It worked. Smelled really strange and seemed dingy, but it was fine. The staff were all nice. Our suite was really spacious, but definitely needed a makeover. I wouldn't not go back necessarily, but I'd try other places, first.
