The hotel has a beautiful entrance with a great bar and restaurants downstairs. We had a room on level two looking out to a side street - it was clean and perfectly fine for our stay. The bed was very comfort and the sheets were crisp. The pool is little but clean and great for a dip. The stairs are under repair/construction which made the area look a little tired. We hired the infrared sauna - it’s $40 an hour for guests which I think is pretty cheeky. You have to book it and staff bring you a seperate swipe card. It wasn’t up to temperature when we used it and maxes out @ 65c. We didn’t get breakfast included and baulked at the $40/45 for a continental breakfast per person. If it’s not included - don’t bother as there are plenty of great options just outside the front door. Staff were OK - neither polite nor rude. The gym is actually a commercial gym so you share with members but it’s very well equipped and great for those who don’t want to skip a workout.

We had the best time away at Manly Pacific and I couldn’t recommend it anymore! From the moment we arrived the staff were nothing but friendly and welcoming. We didn’t pre book parking and arrived pretty late but the staff (Particularly Carla) made it so easy to navigate and book us in! Chloe at the reception was so helpful in recommending activities for us to do in the day and places to see around the hotel. She was very friendly and made the whole experience. We had a beach view room, between the gap of the frontline trees to see the beach. The staff organised for the room to be set up with flowers and a charcuterie board. The room was beautiful from all the little details, effort and location! We also tried out the restaurant connected to the hotel. Again the staff were amazing. The food was delicious and came out pretty quick. We had the gelato connected to the hotel too which just topped it all off! We will definitely be going back and we highly recommend booking a stay!!

We cannot speak highly enough of the Manly Pacific hotel, and the wonderful staff. My wife and I chose to stay at the hotel for our wedding in nearby Freshwater. The staff went above and beyond every single day for us, helping us make our dreams come true, and making us feel so special. The porters, reception team, VIP services, restaurant and bar staff, housekeeping (namely Miyuki), and everyone else was incredible. The Coastal Villa was the perfect base for us for the weekend, it was an ideal location for Anna to get ready with friends, and excellent for us to have those last minute meetings and catch ups with vendors. From the moment we booked, to when we arrived and the moment we left, this hotel is worth every single cent spent. The Manly Pacific will hold a very special place in our hearts forever. We will be back!

We booked the dog friendly room as we had our pups travel with us for their first time. Was disappointed with our overall stay. Room wasn’t very clean - old blood stains were found on the bathroom floor beside the toilet and the bin. The floor didn’t appear to have been mopped. The rug in the bedroom that surrounded the bed had multiple old pee stains from other dogs which was not inviting. Who would want to step on an old stain? I had to ring up the service desk to request some dog bowls once we got into the room and noted there was nothing in the room that would’ve made me think it was pet friendly. I did expect that they would’ve had some items already in the room for my dogs awaiting us, as I had to ring ahead of time and had emailed the hotel weeks ahead to confirm that it was all set for us to go ahead bringing our fur babies. The lifts in the hotel had carpet that also had multiple old stains on it. For a hotel classed as a luxury hotel and for the amount of money spent it was definitely not worth it for me. Not to mention being a hotel that promotes itself on being pet friendly you’re better off getting an Airbnb. Furthermore, the noise from the hallways travelled in to our room and thus detracted from our overall experience given our room was the closest to the lift and people entering and exiting the lift at all hours. In conclusion a regretful stay and a waste of money.

Right from check in the staff were friendly and accomodating. The hotel itself is beautiful with a great rooftop pool and fabulous restaurant and bar. The rooms are spacious and well appointed and the location is great. Across the road to the beach and a couple of blocks to the shopping. There are cafes and restaurants all around the hotel and underground parking was reasonably priced. A great staycation!

Held my wedding at the beautiful Manly Pacific. We loved the Fairy Bower room, and the helpful staff during our site visit. When we were booking our event, Tara was so helpful in answering our questions and ensured we were taken care of in touring the space. We were then handed off to Amy and Ella, who were just the most amazing event planners! Special thank you to Ella who was such an angel to us every step of the way. She made sure our vision came to life, and always had a smile on her face. The lovely staff at reception also made our check in seamless, especially Max from the Beach Club/Concierge. Lastly, kudos to Mariann from Banquets who led the amazing service for our special event

We had the most wonderful staycation at Manly Pacific. It was our first family holiday with our 10 week old baby and golden retriever and the staff went above and beyond to make it special. Nothing was too much of an ask - there was a dog bed, toys and treats on arrival for our pup, lots of complimentary offerings for guests (2pm mimosa hour, 6pm rosé hour etc) you really don’t need to leave the facilities! We had the most special time and can’t wait to come back!

We wanted to experience Sydney but without the hustle and bustle of the city. This was a perfect choice, on the beach, but easy walking distance to the ferry. The best of both worlds. The room was lovely and the staff couldn’t be more helpful and of course the great restaurant onsite.

Yelp
The Novotel in Manly is alright. It is certainly a tad overpriced for what you get (although I guess you're simply paying for the location). We got a suite (2 bedrooms) and the room itself was nice. The master and the living room overlooked the ocean (obstructed by trees though) and the second bedroom with two twin beds overlooked another hotel with a slight ocean view. The kitchen area was OK - it had a fridge and a microwave. There were two bathrooms and one of them had a shower where the door doesn't go completely to the floor (read: very wet bathroom floor). The hotel itself is nice and the staff is nice as well, but there are very few perks. The rooftop pool is very tiny and has AstroTurf which gets REALLY hot in the sun. Additionally, the WiFi isn't free and the paid WiFi is still iffy at best. You can send texts / emails / iMessages but you can't send pictures or watch videos. There's no way I could work from my laptop, either. There is no complimentary coffee but there is a breakfast buffet. We didn't try it but it looked nice - there was a big organic table with fresh honeycomb. You get a discount if you are staying at the hotel. The main draw of this hotel is its proximity to the wharf, the corso, restaurants, and the beach. Everything we did was in quick walking distance. All in all, the hotel was OK - wouldn't recommend nor discourage.

Yelp
The property is bit tired, but the location makes up for it. Let's call it a three-star hotel in a five-star setting. Literally across the street from a beautiful beach full of beautiful people, and around the corner from the Corso, with all of Manly's best shops and restaurants. Only a few blocks from the Manly Wharf, providing frequent ferry service to the City, as well. The rooms are reasonably clean and decently appointed. All east-facing rooms have ocean-view balconies, with those on the second floor having a huge patio with seating for 6-8 people. A couple tips; If you're staying on a Saturday and/or Sunday night, request a room on the north side of the hotel, away from the thumping bass coming from the disco. You'll need to join the hotel loyalty program for complimentary wifi. The front desk staff can be a little stuffy, but efficient enough. The breakfast offerings are quite good, with excellent service, as well.

Yelp
It worked. Smelled really strange and seemed dingy, but it was fine. The staff were all nice. Our suite was really spacious, but definitely needed a makeover. I wouldn't not go back necessarily, but I'd try other places, first.
