We had a beautiful stay. The hotel was clean with rooms refreshed daily, beds were so comfortable, and the hotel is in a great location in Manly. Our room was lovely, the pool area was sooo relaxing, and the food from the on site restaurants was beautiful. The staff were so happy and always happy to help, which made everything feel so comfortable. The lady that checked us in was so welcoming, checked us into our room early and was so friendly, she also gave us loads of information. At one point of the stay we called the concierge as our in-room fridge seemed to have switched off, concierge were at our room within 5 minutes and fixed for us. Overall, we were really impressed and would definitely stay again.

This will certainly be a memorable staycation, and worth every dollar paid. I am so grateful to Arga and this hotel for allowing me to re-schedule my stay until just before Christmas, due to an unexpected injury. Great vibes were also enjoyed at Manly Bistro for a buffet breakfast, where you can also choose how you you wish for your eggs to be cooked. Also loved the coastal vibes and the ambience (it really lights up at Christmas), and my room on Level 3 was rather spacious. The magnesium pool was a joy to swim in, and those rainforest showers on Level 8 with Leif toiletries - superb. Thank you for including breakfast in my stay, and to Arga and the team for the handwritten Christmas card and treats in my room. Also for the $50 mini bar credit (enjoyed more chocolate treats, and took some home with me). They make it easy for you to focus on wellness, and to stay hydrated with cool icy water frequently available. This place was so on point with the goals for this stay-cay of mine (physical healing.) All of these small touches were much greatly appreciated, after what has been a really tough year. Will definitely be back. In the meantime, it would be nice to return for a coffee and a treat at Cibaria, as I aim to come to Manly 1-2 days a week to earth my feet barefoot in the sand and water at the beach all summer long. Thanks again!

I was very disappointed with the 'Deluxe’ room as it did not match the description from the website. Deluxe Room – 'With the most sun coming to this side of the hotel, you’re soaking up those sun rays. Located on the top 2 floors, this spacious room boasts the best natural light. With a private balcony overlooking Manly and its surrounds. Choose a room with either one King bed for 2 adults and 1 child, or two Queen beds accommodating up to 4 guests. Enjoy an en-suite that features a walk-in shower, working desk, 55″Smart TV with Google Staycast for streaming the latest movies, Wi-Fi, safe and mini-bar.' The room was not spacious (room 708) as the corner of it was cut off at the window. This meant there was only a window the size of a door leading out to a tiny balcony which made the room dark and gave it a cramped feel. Not what I was expecting from the photos or the description. I questioned it when we first moved in and the reception were curt saying this is what we ordered. At around $2000 for 2 nights, I thought this was not ok. We had a king bed but I'd very much doubt if 2 queen beds would fit in this room. There was no desk and we tried to stream but the internet was so slow we gave up. As a plus, the bed was very comfortable.

This hotel basic rooms been consistently around $400 for weekdays and higher for weekends. So I had high expectations.||The selected staff are courtious and attentive. ||The star performer is Saki at the Resturant. Breakfast was busy on a Friday but she was great at getting orders, service with a smile.||Breakfast setup is adequate with eggs to order.||Housekeeping in the room setup is good but had to follow up few times for extea blanket and dental kids||The rooms are clean, modern, and surprisingly spacious. Mine had a really comfortable bed and one of the better hotel showers I’ve had in a while. Housekeeping did a great job throughout the stay, and I appreciated the small touches like the stocked minibar and the balcony seating for morning coffee.

The hotel has a beautiful entrance with a great bar and restaurants downstairs. We had a room on level two looking out to a side street - it was clean and perfectly fine for our stay. The bed was very comfort and the sheets were crisp. The pool is little but clean and great for a dip. The stairs are under repair/construction which made the area look a little tired. We hired the infrared sauna - it’s $40 an hour for guests which I think is pretty cheeky. You have to book it and staff bring you a seperate swipe card. It wasn’t up to temperature when we used it and maxes out @ 65c. We didn’t get breakfast included and baulked at the $40/45 for a continental breakfast per person. If it’s not included - don’t bother as there are plenty of great options just outside the front door. Staff were OK - neither polite nor rude. The gym is actually a commercial gym so you share with members but it’s very well equipped and great for those who don’t want to skip a workout.

We recently phoned ahead to check whether the hotel was pet-friendly, and from that first call the staff could not have been more accommodating. The room was excellent, the service outstanding, and even breakfast was made easy with outdoor seating perfect for guests with animals. Every staff member we encountered was welcoming and helpful. The facilities were first-class, and the location was unbeatable—right across the road from Manly Beach. A truly wonderful experience. Highly recommended.

I have stayed at this hotel with family and it was absolutely amazing. I went back with a friend, and our room had a leak coming from the shower. When we notified the staff, they changed us to a new hotel immediately with no extra charge. Food and drinks were amazing, buffet breakfast absolutely worth it and the rooftop pool with bar and food service was great. Amazing facilities and amazing service. All the staff were so lovely and accomodating, and felt like a friend.

We had the best time away at Manly Pacific and I couldn’t recommend it anymore! From the moment we arrived the staff were nothing but friendly and welcoming. We didn’t pre book parking and arrived pretty late but the staff (Particularly Carla) made it so easy to navigate and book us in! Chloe at the reception was so helpful in recommending activities for us to do in the day and places to see around the hotel. She was very friendly and made the whole experience. We had a beach view room, between the gap of the frontline trees to see the beach. The staff organised for the room to be set up with flowers and a charcuterie board. The room was beautiful from all the little details, effort and location! We also tried out the restaurant connected to the hotel. Again the staff were amazing. The food was delicious and came out pretty quick. We had the gelato connected to the hotel too which just topped it all off! We will definitely be going back and we highly recommend booking a stay!!

Yelp
The Novotel in Manly is alright. It is certainly a tad overpriced for what you get (although I guess you're simply paying for the location). We got a suite (2 bedrooms) and the room itself was nice. The master and the living room overlooked the ocean (obstructed by trees though) and the second bedroom with two twin beds overlooked another hotel with a slight ocean view. The kitchen area was OK - it had a fridge and a microwave. There were two bathrooms and one of them had a shower where the door doesn't go completely to the floor (read: very wet bathroom floor). The hotel itself is nice and the staff is nice as well, but there are very few perks. The rooftop pool is very tiny and has AstroTurf which gets REALLY hot in the sun. Additionally, the WiFi isn't free and the paid WiFi is still iffy at best. You can send texts / emails / iMessages but you can't send pictures or watch videos. There's no way I could work from my laptop, either. There is no complimentary coffee but there is a breakfast buffet. We didn't try it but it looked nice - there was a big organic table with fresh honeycomb. You get a discount if you are staying at the hotel. The main draw of this hotel is its proximity to the wharf, the corso, restaurants, and the beach. Everything we did was in quick walking distance. All in all, the hotel was OK - wouldn't recommend nor discourage.

Yelp
The property is bit tired, but the location makes up for it. Let's call it a three-star hotel in a five-star setting. Literally across the street from a beautiful beach full of beautiful people, and around the corner from the Corso, with all of Manly's best shops and restaurants. Only a few blocks from the Manly Wharf, providing frequent ferry service to the City, as well. The rooms are reasonably clean and decently appointed. All east-facing rooms have ocean-view balconies, with those on the second floor having a huge patio with seating for 6-8 people. A couple tips; If you're staying on a Saturday and/or Sunday night, request a room on the north side of the hotel, away from the thumping bass coming from the disco. You'll need to join the hotel loyalty program for complimentary wifi. The front desk staff can be a little stuffy, but efficient enough. The breakfast offerings are quite good, with excellent service, as well.

Yelp
It worked. Smelled really strange and seemed dingy, but it was fine. The staff were all nice. Our suite was really spacious, but definitely needed a makeover. I wouldn't not go back necessarily, but I'd try other places, first.
