Fantastic shoe maker to visit if you are in Florence. You can get ready to wear, custom, and bespoke, made to measure too. The proprietor Antonio is a fantastic chap to talk to also. I enjoyed every moment here. Will come again if I am in Firenze again. The shoes I bought were a dark brown pair of loafers in size 42. Blake stitched, and very well finished. Up there with the best that the best ready to wear brands out there can offer and actually for its price, more than expected.

We came to this shop off of a recommendation from the sales associates at the leather school of Florence and we were not disappointed. The care, passion and craftsmanship is evident from the physical product to the store owners. I came away with a comfortable pair of flats and loafers. Great sales experience and attentive customer service from the son of the owner and and lady at the shop who both took their time with me to find something that suits my style and needs

Nice store and I came here to see the shoes because I researched and this is one of the best stores in Florence, but the owner comes off like a snob. His hands are crossed he looks at everyone in disdain no friendly greeting nothing it was very disappointing. I walked right out.

I ordered a pair of bespoke pump shoes and a pair of bespoke boots in 2022 for €2,800. I had to wait three years before finally receiving them in 2025. Both pairs had to be shipped back for adjustments because they were too small. Even after being “fixed,” they remain so tight that they’re painful and impossible to wear, despite several attempts to break them in. This has been the worst investment I’ve ever made. On top of that, their customer service is disastrous. You have to send countless emails over the years just to hope for a reply, and they never keep you updated by themselves.

My experience purchasing was fine. The senior man (who I presume is the owner) and the lady working there (both Italian with limited English) were very helpful and positive, and you can tell than the man is passionate about his shoes. I bought a pair of deep navy leather loafers, and my wife bought two pairs of shoes. They brought out close to a dozen different pairs of shoes to try, went back and got different sizes to make sure we had the right size. Never did we feel unwelcome (not that it should matter but I was dressed like a bum, and I’m brown-skinned). This is his business, and as such, it’s his life. I approached with respect and we didn’t grab things without asking. I hope this review helps people in the future. I will update this review once I’ve had a chance to wear the shoes for some time.

If you want real hand made shoes, you cannot go wrong at Mannina. Great prices and they are always very kind to give you a discount.

I came in because I saw the display of shoes and was not disappointed. I had been looking at many other shops around Florence for a nice pair of leather shoes but nothing had everything I wanted. At Mannina, the owner helped me choose between two beautiful pairs of shoes and was incredibly knowledgeable and patient the entire time. The shoes are not cheap, but they are high quality and he even showed us his workshop where they handmake the shoes. I am very satisfied and would highly recommend to anyone having trouble finding their perfect match of shoes.

Beautiful well made shoes a fair price point for the quality. I agree with the previous reviewer that the man AND the woman working there were unfriendly , rude and disagreeable. I am a 60'ish woman and was dressed nicely. They don't have prices on most of the men's shoes and too snobby to be helpful. Shop elsewhere.

I was in Tuscany for two weeks and was excited to visit this store based on a recommendation from a friend. They are making custom, handmade shoes in a way that is rare these days. I love shoes, bags and coats and will pay the money for good quality. It was Saturday, June 29 and not busy in the store - one other customer. The store is small and there were two people helping the four of (3 in my party). She was nice and offered assistance however the guy was an a$#hole. I've read other reviews (other sites) about the grumpy middle aged guy with poor customer service and met him in the flesh. He could not be bothered with returning a greeting or acknowledging This polished man on IG was a jerk in person which was too bad as I came to Florence to spend my $$ in his store. I went elsewhere and spw t money with a competitor. Must be nice when you can lose $400 euro sale. So if you want high-quality, limited women styles at a premium with a side of attitude and poor service poor this is the store for you.

I am a shoe snob. This year the shoes I bought at Mannina are ten years old. I felt like I was walking on air the first time I put them on, and to this day they look brand new. Yes, they are expensive...but worth every penny!
