Fantastic shoe maker to visit if you are in Florence. You can get ready to wear, custom, and bespoke, made to measure too. The proprietor Antonio is a fantastic chap to talk to also. I enjoyed every moment here. Will come again if I am in Firenze again. The shoes I bought were a dark brown pair of loafers in size 42. Blake stitched, and very well finished. Up there with the best that the best ready to wear brands out there can offer and actually for its price, more than expected.

We asked an employee for a size 38/39of a men's shoe. She refused at first, since my dad clearly has larger feet than that. When we cleared up that it was for the women's shoes. I'm a man with facial hair, but I am visibly queer. If they don'thave my size, that's one thing. But she doesn't need to insult me. I would not shop here if you are queer or trans, the staff are not queer friendly.

Fantastic craftsmanship, generations of precision and softness. The shoes are all incredible and if you can afford it, they will last a life time. Antonio is incredibly nice, he will find you what you need.

Two stars for how beautiful the shoes were but the staff makes you feel so uncomfortable. My wife and I were looking to both purchase shoes for our corporate jobs and something casual. We were dressed nice for a dinner with friends but maybe they thought we weren’t going to buy anything? Regardless It was clear the staff could care less and wanted us to leave so we did.

I have wide feet and struggle to find dress shoes that fit well, so I'm always on the lookout for custom bespoke shoes. Last year when I was in Florence, I had my feet carefully measured and chose a shoe design to make. The whole process was incredible, and I was blown away by their artisan mindset and dedication to traditional techniques. I finally received my custom handmade shoes today - They fit beautifully! I'm so impressed with the construction of them, and they were made exactly as I requested them. I'll have to come back again to make different lasts made at different heel heights one day 😍!

It is a long-awaited and finally become amazing visit to the Mannina in Florence, Italy. On a windy chilly Sunday afternoon, I read the story about the founder, Mr. Calogero Mannina, and the ‘Atelier Mannina’, in Paris, about 2008. Since then, the Atelier Mannina became the first ‘must-go’ point on my list of the future Florence Trip. In the early spring of 2023, the long-awaited trip finally found its own chance to be accomplished. So, I reserved a hotel near the Atelier, on the ‘cross-river’ side of center of the city. And visit the Mannina in the afternoon of next day. The founder the Mannina, the Mr. Mannina senior started his extraordinary and legendary professional life since he was seven, on the post-war streets’ sides of Italy. The arduous works polished the skill of the future maestro, the old Mannina founded his own work shop and the work shop served its life time clients and neighborhoods since the youth time of the Maestro to today. Nowadays, the shop runed by Mr. Mannina junior and the atelier mainly runed by the outstanding apprentices of old Mannina, Miss Ohtani and Mr. Lorenzo, who still make same comfortable, elegant, high-level crafted shoes as Mr. Mannina senior did in the old days. Due to the shape of feet of my wife, she can hardly find a pair of shoes which are completely comfortable and elegant. However, luckily, in the afternoon we visited the shop, she tried about a dozen pairs of shoes and found no one shoe was not matched for her feet. So, the shopping in the afternoon became a delighted harvest. For me, I also purchased some pairs of long-awaiting shoes, including a pair of elegant round-toe wingtip full brogue oxford, a pair of suede chachka boots…etc. After several month’s wearing, I just can say: Thank you Mr. Mannina, Miss Ohtani and Mr. Lorenzo and the Shop Lady for making so nice shoes. None of the shoes is made under the standard of high-quality. Grazie mille. Ciao. I hope we will meet each other again, soon.

I ordered a pair of bespoke pump shoes and a pair of bespoke boots in 2022 for €2,800. I had to wait three years before finally receiving them in 2025. Both pairs had to be shipped back for adjustments because they were too small. Even after being “fixed,” they remain so tight that they’re painful and impossible to wear, despite several attempts to break them in. This has been the worst investment I’ve ever made. On top of that, their customer service is disastrous. You have to send countless emails over the years just to hope for a reply, and they never keep you updated by themselves.

Beautiful well made shoes a fair price point for the quality. I agree with the previous reviewer that the man AND the woman working there were unfriendly , rude and disagreeable. I am a 60'ish woman and was dressed nicely. They don't have prices on most of the men's shoes and too snobby to be helpful. Shop elsewhere.

I was in Tuscany for two weeks and was excited to visit this store based on a recommendation from a friend. They are making custom, handmade shoes in a way that is rare these days. I love shoes, bags and coats and will pay the money for good quality. It was Saturday, June 29 and not busy in the store - one other customer. The store is small and there were two people helping the four of (3 in my party). She was nice and offered assistance however the guy was an a$#hole. I've read other reviews (other sites) about the grumpy middle aged guy with poor customer service and met him in the flesh. He could not be bothered with returning a greeting or acknowledging This polished man on IG was a jerk in person which was too bad as I came to Florence to spend my $$ in his store. I went elsewhere and spw t money with a competitor. Must be nice when you can lose $400 euro sale. So if you want high-quality, limited women styles at a premium with a side of attitude and poor service poor this is the store for you.

Wonderful service, beautiful and comfortable shoes.The craftsmanship is impeccable. I expected to pay more than I did for these beauties.

I am a shoe snob. This year the shoes I bought at Mannina are ten years old. I felt like I was walking on air the first time I put them on, and to this day they look brand new. Yes, they are expensive...but worth every penny!
