My wife and I had a lovely stay at this hotel in December. We chose an appartment, which had great parking and all the facilities you could need. My only grudge was that the sofa in the appartment was not very comfortable, and the dishes were not completely clean. Being a coeliac, this was a big concern but the dishwasher sorted that out quickly. Apart from that, the room was great, bed very comfy, great shower and very quiet considering how central the hotel is in Truro. We ate in the retsaurant the first night and they had good Gluten Free options and great quality and service by Chloe. Continental breakfast was better than what I was expecting and Gluten Free options also very good. Big shout out to James for his service and overall postivie demeaner. We will be back again.

We came here and found it was a newly launched menu with a new chef. We had the slow cooked brisket, which was epic! We had the crunchy prawns and deep fried olives with bread. The homemade treacle bread was a highlight, but the crispy stuffed olives were simply something special...never seen this before. My wife had the gf fish and chips, gf batter super crispy and 3 sauces...very happy. Great service as well and very friendly.

The staff at the Manning's Hotel are brilliant; they make this hotel okay. The rooms are dated. I didn't like the shower over the bath as I hate shower curtains. The lovely lady on reception moved us to a room with a shower, room 30 but there was no lift. lots & lots of stairs. I think that better breakfast options could be included in the price. The owners really need to do a bit of work modernising the rooms, and install a lift. I found the beds comfortable, I'm afraid I wouldn't come back unless a few changes were made. This Hotel is trying to be something that it is not 3 Star at best, trying to be 5 Star. Very cheap loo roll.

Came in off the street for breakfast, Staff great and very friendly, but the vegetarian breakfast poor. One egg, half a tomato, mushrooms cooked in old fat, baked beans and two hash browns. No toast and no veggie sausage or anything else as a meat substitute .

The staff we're friendly, the continental breakfast fast was fine ( there was a option to buy a cooked breakfast)and there is parking next to the hotel.|Our room was small and the bathroom was very small. It had a good shower but the water coming out of the hot tap. ( sink) was extremely hot. There was a couple of stains on the carpet, rusty radiator in the bathroom and two extractor fans out side our window wafting smells from the restaurant through the closed window.

We have stayed in a hotel room at Mannings a couple of times before but this time we stayed in an apartment. This was great and also included breakfast. The owner was delightful. The whole complex could do with a bit of a spruce up but the reception staff were excellent and could not do enough to help. We will definitely be back.

Good food. The restaurant is so loud though its impossible to hear people. The sound reverbarates off the bare walls and floors. It makes the experience poor. Get some carpet or sound baffles. Every laugh from the next table drowns out your own conversation.

Perfect location if you plan to visit Truro. Bedroom was clean and tidy although room could be a little noisey if you needed to have a window open as it is on a main street. Top class continental breakfast and their real asset was their team of friendly staff. Would definitely return.
