Mannings Hotel

Perfect location if you plan to visit Truro. Bedroom was clean and tidy although room could be a little noisey if you needed to have a window open as it is on a main street. Top class continental breakfast and their real asset was their team of friendly staff. Would definitely return.

I can't begin to tell you how great the choice of this hotel was. We booked it as was going the the theatre to see the Luther tribute band who were amazing at the Hall for Cornwall. Under a minute from the hotel.There was free parking right in the centre of the town which we managed to arrive early and use this facility.We booked a queen size bed which was huge and very comfortable. The rooms are a tad tired but totally acceptable.The staff in the bar were lovely and accommodating. This went from day and night staff! This is the perfect hotel for shopping in Truro too.Can't wait for our next visit! Fitted in a visit to Truro Cathedral too, truly inspiring!We has a continental breakfast which was acceptable x

We have stayed in a hotel room at Mannings a couple of times before but this time we stayed in an apartment. This was great and also included breakfast. The owner was delightful. The whole complex could do with a bit of a spruce up but the reception staff were excellent and could not do enough to help. We will definitely be back.

This couldn’t be a more central location in Truro housed in historic buildings one with a cost of arms above the door making me wonder if it was once a courthouse. I had a nicely furnished room which afforded me a good night’s sleep before a breakfast whose white modernistic tables and chairs formed a marked contrast to the Georgian structure.

I stayed overnight as I had a theatre visit the following afternoon and business in the morning. I took an apartment for easy access as in the main building the rooms are all upstairs. Guests have a free continental style breakfast and use of a gated car park. The car park is right beside the apartments.||The apartment was spacious with a very large bed. The bedside lights are of the bare bulb type and a touch bright. Bathroom is also spacious. However the towel rail came away from the wall in my hand when I used the very nice towel. The apartment has a well equipped kitchenette with dishwasher, microwave, toaster etc. Everything was spotlessly clean.||If the weather is inclement make sure you have waterproofs as there is no covered access to the main hotel building and restaurant. The hotel is right in the centre of the city and ideal for business and theatre trips.

The staff here are brilliant, they make this hotel bearable. The rooms are too hot. I didn't like the shower over the bath & that there was no lift. I have minor mobility issues, & this made it difficult for me. I think that better breakfast options could be included in the price. The owners really need to do a bit of work modernising the rooms, with walk in showers, & to install a lift. I found the beds uncomfortable, I'm afraid I wouldn't come back unless a few changes were made. We were initially given a small double room, which was uncomfortable, we requested a bigger room, which we were given. Unfortunately this room was right above the kitchen extraction system, which was very noisy & was on from 7am to 11pm. Overall our experience here was disappointing.

I call up to book a room and i ask if i can paly in cash and they was happy that and i went into hotel and paly the cash sill happy and i had samething happen in trown with my x grilfrend and the police had hlpe me out.when i try get my room key and they sad sorry we can't have you say here becast you had the ||police here.i had a phone call today say not good paly by cash and i book aging can't be by cash. You have last sameone who all way say at your hotel and all way tell my frends say thre

Just returned from an ovenight stay in the Mannings hotel, Truro, excellent room and wonderful staff. The breakfast setting is first class with an extensive choice, will definitely return. Loved the history of the place, the ambience was delightful. Thankyou so much.
