Mannix Point Camping and Caravan Park (Closed until Easter 2025)

We really enjoyed out three days at Mannix Point campsite. Its in an excellent location in the sense that there is a town right beside it with everything you need , but the campsite itself is on the coast, and all you hear and see are waves lapping and birds singing. So peaceful and beatiful. The showers were great as were all the other facilities. The service was friendly and helpful, Terry was a minefield of useful information. We will definitely be back !

Super friendly check-in staff, gave us options of pitch and greeted us with a warm smile! The pitch overlooked the sea and mountains and was absolutely stunning. The showers and toilets were incredibly clean with music playing inside which was a fantastic touch! We loved it so much we stayed an extra night. Showers needed €2 which we’d forgotten to bring - staff loaned us money until the next day! Thanks so much! Would definitely recommend!

Booked for a week in July but had to change to August due to unforeseen circumstances. This was done without any problem thanks to the wonderful staff. The site is well laid out and the toilet/shower and kitchen facilities were very clean and modern. Although our first time camping in a tent life was so much easier with an exceptional site and helpful staff. Will definitely go there again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our two nights at Mannix point. The location is fantastic, the true selling point of this experience. The campsite is so close to the sea, which makes for a truly beautiful stay. Also, it a 5 minute drive away from Cahersiveen and only a short journey to Valentia Island. |The facilities were great, Mannix point has generous kitchen, shared room and washing facilities. The bathrooms were immaculate and the showers were hot and a luxurious 6 minutes long. |It was fairly breezy, but there are plenty of locations that were sheltered from ocean winds. Still I'd recommend bringing a wind breaker if you are camping (as we were). |We couldn't recommend this campsite enough, thanks for a great stay!

Have being going here as often as we can over the years since 2008 ,when we first met the ever so special Mortmer ,and fell in love with this beautiful place . It is still as charming breathtaking and welcoming as that first time when we "chanced it " as a newly married couple in a two man tent and now we can't wait to get here every year with our family tent . Our son has had fabulous holidays here as ayoung child and now as a teenager with his friend. . Feels safe to give them a bit of freedom into the friendly town of Cahersiveen and they experienced cooking for us in the BEST campers kitchen we have ever seen in comparison to other campsites .The communal area is so unique and sociable. Charlotte and Terry and everyone who works so hard ,ye are doing an amazing job and yer own personal touches around the place is making the place even better which I didnt think possible . Shower facilities are fantastic and so clean . We are just counting down the days till next year . Mannix is one very special place . ||Kate and Andy Geoghegan

One of the nicest Camping Sites I've ever been to! Sadly it's already some time since I've been there but I hope to go back there soon! Really kind an helpful owner, beautiful location, just cozy The kitchen had everything one could need and enough space indoors to eat and slouch. The next supermarket is walking distance, as is the town.

Really good campsite, great setting right on the water. Very nice facilities and common room full of character and charm. Terry is very friendly & helpful too. Definitely recommend a stay here.

Have traveled to many sites across Europe and this one is one of the best for amenities, friendly staff and above all stunning sea views. Helped by perfect weather conditions but really can’t fault this site for anything. Anyone after an idyllic can site with sea and sunset views look no further. Amazing.
