Splendid Arts and Crafts house tastefully converted into a small hotel. Thoughtfully laid out room with a delightful view over the beach and cove. Good beds, plenty of hot water. Evening meal was excellent value for money other than a rather sad cheese plate, stick to the tasty desserts.

We are in love with this place !!!|The hotel gives onto a beautiful little bay and the beach is really quiet.|The architecture is impressive inside and outside, and you totally feel you're being a guest at some lord's house for the weekend.|Our room was tiny but cute, with a clean and modern bathroom carved in the rock, and the breakfast room had great views of the bay. Breakfast was really genuine and tasty !

Absolutely beautiful place and the service was excellent. Rooms were individually decorated and tastefully furnished. Comfortable bed. I didn't want to leave. The beach/coast view from our windows was beautiful in the morning, the evening and even when it rained.

Overlooks unspoilt and quiet small sandy bay off the beaten track. Hotel a handsome 1920s private manor preserving many original features such as rich woodwork. Genuine country house atmosphere. Peaceful gardens and short stroll to beach. Our superior double room enjoyed superb views over bay. Shower room modern and luxurious with quality fittings. Bed excellent. Room perhaps a little small, but that sense of intimacy is part of the charm - it's a house, not a chain hotel. Hosts and staff friendly, enthusiastic and obliging. Dinner fine - short organic local menu including oysters, fish, pork, decent puds and small selection of decent wines fairly priced. Breakfast excellent - freshly squeezed juice, big spread of superior quality hams, cheeses, jams, stewed fruit, boiled eggs and good fresh pastries. They were very welcoming to our dog who loved the walks. A delightful place to while away a few restful days amid beautiful surroundings.

When we arrived we felt as if we had come home. A warm welcome combined with generous room features, views, sea breezes and warm and inviting common areas perfected the feeling. The hotel and room had everything we needed for a relaxing short holiday - Outdoor lounge chairs, sumny and shady terrace, comfortable chairs, extra blankets and pillows, plenty of in-room natural light, an electric space heater, iron and board, safe, well kept grounds, direct access to the beach, extra towels, various reading materials, and a dining room serving local cuisine.|Long walking/running trails are also directly accessible.

We had a delightful stay at Manoir Dalmore, the food was delicious, ( although vegetarian options would have been welcome), the location superb, the staff very friendly and helpful. One of the rooms had no view at all, as the small window was in the bathroom. However, the outside aspect of the building reminded me of a small chateau, and the decor and furnishings of the dining room were full of period character. We were made to feel extremely welcome when we arrived after a long journey, well into the evening, and it was was wonderful to be able to sit down to dinner straight away.
