Google
Super friendly service! I came here for the first time because my dad is visiting me in the area. The portions of the dishes were HUGE, it has a great lively American diner vibe. The banana chocolate pancakes were delightful, you could taste the aromatic bananas and the pancake itself was not overly sweet so you could use the syrup to your own taste. They had an open kitchen which was great but the fan needs a little attention because the dining area was slightly smokey when we were there. Otherwise great experience and food!

Google
Love this place the prices are amazing and you receive very delicious food. The portions are great and the waiters are amazing as well. I always get a homey feeling when i’m there. Super obsessed with the cookies and cream pancakes

Google
First time here and we loved it. Had the BLT Benedict was amazing and the Monte Cristo French toast could have been a little firmer but it was a great dish and fair prices. Great weight stuff. Everything was a+

Google
This place was solid. We stopped in early on a Friday to have breakfast. It wasn't terribly busy but I can understand why it is packed. The cinnamon roll was good, the home fries were amazing and the hash was top notch. I would recommend this as a go to breakfast place.

We were originally going to go somewhere else for breakfast, but they were closed. So, we ended up at Manory's. What a wonderfully unexpected surprise. Great food. Great service. We will be back.

Robert

Google
Founded in 1913, this dinner puts out typical diner fare with efficiency and great service. We liked it so much, we went back. The eggs benedict were well received but the favorite was absolutely the pancakes... Both times. Both times the pancakes came out exactly the same way, crispy on the edges and perfectly cooked. Both visits were with different waiters and they were both great. No, it ain't fancy, but that's not why your there

Google
Brunch was delicious! The espresso martini drink was good too. Come early or be prepared to wait. Holy cow that place is small inside. It was worth the wait tho.

Yelp
Loved it! My first time at this Western-style ambience diner in Troy, was good. Their plate of Elvis pancakes with chunks of bacon, was a treat - worthy of a repeat. It is a large diner in one room, with tables and bars but no small cubicles. Their coffee is delicious! Breakfast corner-joint that was a lot of fun. Review: 5

Yelp
Stopped in for a mid-morning breakfast with 2 dear friends. Manory's is an old school restaurant with a modern vibe. It is bright, clean with a friendly staff that goes out of their way to make you feel welcomed and appreciated. You can sit at the U shaped counter, at a booth or a table. Both friends had cheese omelettes with home fries and toast. And they enjoyed their meals immensely. My poached eggs on cinnamon raisin toast with a side of crispy corned beef hash was scrumptious. Their coffee is amazing and our cups were refilled by our attentive server more than once. I absolutely love this spot. It is my favorite place in Troy!

Yelp
As my group was enjoying breakfast here, I occasionally heard snippets of conversation from nearby tables along the lines of, "This is why they've been in business all these years," or "Of course it's good, it's Manory's." There is clearly a dedicated set of patrons here, and I can see why. They have a lot of qualities I look for in this type of restaurant. The atmosphere is casual. The staff are friendly yet very professional. The menu is varied and quite interesting, and everything comes out quickly... really quickly. Restaurant chains that specialize in breakfasts should come here and watch and learn. I had a tough time figuring out what to have, but I settled on a breakfast combo featuring their crispy hash and pancakes, in this case their banana cinnamon pancakes. Their has was the best I have had in many years, indeed crispy but also not greasy at all. All our meals came out at once. Even though it was a busy Saturday morning, there was rarely a wait for a table, and when there was, it was a short wait. These folks know what they're doing - of course they do, that's why there still in business after all these years.

Yelp
I'm not a guy who gives out 5 star reviews like stale breadcrumbs to the pigeons in Central Park. Man I enjoyed my breakfast at Manory's. Went to visit my friend and I had the eggs florentine. Which is a classic riff on eggs Benedict with spinach in lieu of Canadian bacon. Incidentally, Canadians some of the nicest people, with the worst of the bacons. They also had maybe 4 other versions? But remember a pulled pork and a chicken and waffle. Man, what a time to be alive! But that being said Manory's has been in business since 1913! That means Romain Fielding and Alice Joyce could have also enjoyed this same dish way back in opening day! (They were very famous in 1913. Google it). Place looks like it has been there forever, in a good way. A lot of charm. Staff was friendly, service was fast. Highly recommend. Will be back for that chicken and waffle Benedict next time I'm in town.

Yelp
I don't have much to say that's negative. Very busy for Saturday lunch but we were seated within 10 minutes. Food tasted great and service was really spot on. Everyone was hustling and tables were flipped constantly. Portions were decently sized and overall I was happy.
google avatar

Kelly J.

Yelp
I bring everyone to Manory's for brunch! They have the best pancakes, home fries, bacon, and hollandaise. Also, the banana bread french toast if they have it! A true Troy gem.

Jim C.

Yelp
I stop here for breakfast when I am in the area each year. The restaurant is old, but is well kept. I had noticed in the past that there was some opportunity for refreshing of things like ceiling tiles, etc., which has been done. Lighting has also been updated. There is a split AC unit on the wall and a number of ceiling fans that keep the place cool Food is solid, hot and serve rather quickly The owner is very active in the restaurant filling in seating people getting drinks in checking up on customers. This place is definitely a mix between an old school breakfast shop and hipster hang out as they have all of the basics, but then have specialty coffees and some alcohol. If I lived closer, I would frequent this place more often.

Yelp
This place is pure magic! My friend and I stood outside as soon as it opened, and the line was already stretching around the side of the restaurant. Within minutes of the doors unlocking, the place was packed--buzzing with energy, laughter, and the clinking of dishes. And it's no surprise why: everything about this spot is incredible! The menu felt like a work of art--carefully curated with an attention to detail you can taste in every bite. Each dish was methodically crafted, and the aromas alone were enough to transport us to culinary heaven. From the first sip of the Bloody Mary, which was vibrant, rich, and practically alive, to the coffees that were more than just drinks--they were miniature masterpieces, decorated so beautifully they felt like Christmas trees on the Fourth of July. This restaurant doesn't just serve food--it serves an experience. Every plate, every cup, every aroma felt like a moment of art in motion. It's a place where the boundaries between food and storytelling blur, delivering more than just a meal but a sensory adventure. If you appreciate flavors that sing and coffee that inspires, run (don't walk) to this place. Absolutely worth the wait--spectacular in every sense!

Yelp
The atmosphere, food and service are all deserving of 5 stars. Diner like atmosphere with Troy market like food. You can't go wrong here - what a treat!! Portions are huge - I was only able to eat half of my nacho / Mexican egg breakfast. Oh btw get the blueberry muffin. It's loaded with fresh blueberries.

Yelp
One of our family members called a few days ahead knowing that we would have a dozen people. They were very pleasant and made a note for the Saturday crew. We arrived on time, late morning. Note: They don't take reservations. Restaurant was full and our wait was only fifteen minutes for our crew. Anyway. Service was quick, friendly, polite, and got all our orders correct. All food was excellent. Selection was fantastic and everyone in restaurant was laughing, talking and seemed happy. I would say the ambiance was outstanding. Price was excellent. Definitely a place I would go again.

Yelp
Went here for breakfast last weekend. I really liked the interior, very old fashioned and cozy. I got the butterbeer latte and the blt benedict, and my husband had pancakes. Our server was friendly and everything came out quickly. And the food was delicious. I can see why this is the oldest restaurant in Troy, what a good breakfast place!
google avatar

Kenneth B.

Yelp
This is my go-to breakfast place in Troy . Staff is very attentive and the food is excellent. Great value for your money! Parking is on the street. Plan a wait because this restaurant is very popular.
google avatar

Yelp
Food is amazing every time. Everything is super fresh. Staff are young college students and mostly friendly. Park in the municipal lot on Congress.

Yelp
I worked in Troy for many years within walking distance to Manory's. Co-workers and I did not eat here because, unfortunately, with only a half-hour lunch, you couldn't get in, eat, and get back to work in that amount of time. Should we have taken extra time for lunch? Maybe. SO and I decided one weekend to give it a try. I am very glad we did. The special that day was a "waffle french toast." What a great idea! Wish I had thought of it myself. (Love my waffle iron for more than waffles.) It was large enough to enjoy and not have left-overs. Crispy waffles dipped in egg and then fried on the grill. OMG. Yes, I'd go back just for these bad boys. Side of bacon was enough for two people; crispy and bacon-y. Took my leftover bacon home for another meal. Keep in mind that there is limited parking in Troy. I did find a public lot a block away; but during the week you might not be that lucky. Staff are very busy but do refill your coffee regularly.

David G.

Yelp
Service and food outstanding love the breakfast nachos have never been disappointed in anything I have eaten here.Don't miss out it's a must have.Buffalo chicken omelette Amazing

Yelp
Chose this restaurant on a whim for breakfast as it was on our way from the airport and we were starving, and it ended up being a great find! We didn't realize it was Troy's oldest restaurant. It has a diner feel with breakfast and lunch options. Our server recommended the muffins as that's what they're known for, so I got the grilled muffin breakfast (if you've never had a grilled muffin you're missing out). It was delicious! And also huge. It came with sausage and eggs as well. The highlight for me was the seasonal coffee options, the gingerbread shaken espresso was amazing.

Maria A.

Yelp
Awesome diner! Amazing menu with inventive pancakes - kids loved the Elvis pancake with banana, PBJ, and bacon. LOVED IT! eggs, waffles BACON and home fries were done perfectly! Definitely a must eat for breakfast. Would have loved to come again for lunch. Great for the WHOLE family!
google avatar

Lixmarie W.

Yelp
A mom and pop shop at its finest. I'd you're looking for that butter crispy edge pancake spot. This is your spot! I love a good pancake and this hit home for me. This is a hole in a wall that only locals usually go to. I really enjoyed it and honestly you will get your monies worth.

Yelp
Good was good service was great. Whole staff were very friendly, street parking was not so bad. 10/10
google avatar

Yelp
The food was amazing, everything tasted delicious. The smores hot cocoa was absolutely divine and cinnamon roll french toast is highly recommended for those with a sweet tooth. It's the oldest restaurant in Troy and a classic setting. The waiters and waitresses are really kind.
google avatar

Brandee H.

Yelp
AMAZING as always the service and the food! OMG if you have not been for the Cinnamon roll, the pancakes, the Trojan with the gravy. I have NEVER had anything there that I did not like :)

Yelp
Went to Manory's before going to the Farmer's Market. Great choice! I got Peanut Butter and Jelly Waffles. Amazing!

Yelp
We LOVED Manory's! When we arrived there was a line out the door- which to me is a good sign. We had a small wait, and you could tell the staff was working quickly to turnover tables. Everyone we interacted with was so kind, thanking us for our patience for the wait. We started with cinnamon streusel iced latte. A large size and absolutely delicious! We ordered the biscuits and gravy with poached eggs and hash browns. The biscuits were griddled on the flat top and it was all delicious. My husband got french toast, sausage, ham, bacon, hashbrowns, 3 eggs and toast. The french toast was some of the best I've ever had. Overall we had a fantastic experience and would love to come back to Troy just to go back and try more things on the menu!

Yelp
Had an amazing breakfast this weekend at Manory's and can't wait to visit again soon! We arrived around 10:45 am on a Sunday and it was crowded with a wait, but we only had to wait about 15 minutes to be seated. The servers were hustling here, we were greeted quickly. We tried a spiked iced coffee and a cocktail from the specials menu - strawberry champagne margarita. Both were delicious. We ordered the buffalo chicken omelette and lumberjack pancakes (made with sausage in the batter and sausage gravy on top). Our food arrived quickly, hot and very tasty. The portions were excellent as well. While it was very busy in here, everyone was working hard to provide a great experience. The only issue we faced was when we arrived, because it was cold out, patrons were crowding the doorway inside. This made it difficult to figure out who was in line and how to put our name on the waitlist. I'm not sure a solution besides being aware you may have to wait outside, the employees kept asking people to clear the doorway but people were stubborn. We're already planning a visit to try something from the lunch section!

Yelp
First time in Troy! We were all craving brunch on the coldest day of the year and needed something in walking distance from z the Troy Music Hall. We were greeted so warmly when we walked in and we're seated right away. This place is cozy abs packed with locals. We were excited to see brunch specials and drink specials galore! There was an amazing 70's playlist going and everyone around us just looked happy and relaxed. We ordered Bloody Mary's which h were delightful! Topped with bacon and pickle spears! Our friends ordered an Irish Coffee latte and a Mimosa! Yummy! I had a BLT with fries, simple and straight to the point, not fancy but tasty. The other means at our table were Eggs Benedict with Pulled Pork, a Breakfast Sandwich with Sausage and a Cheese Omelette. Everyone loved their food! We really couldn't have hit a better, homier spot!

Yelp
What a great local diner! The place doesn't look like much and, in fact, it looks like it would benefit from a thorough spring cleaning. However, the selection is vast, the food is tasty, and the staff is friendly and welcoming. We went for breakfast and chose to sit at the counter as the restaurant was filled to capacity. It gave us a front-seat view of the open (mostly) open kitchen. We were quickly greeted and provided menus and drinks and our server followed up soon afterward. We had a few questions about the menu and our server was happy to provide answers and offer suggestions. We choose the Biscuits and Gravy with eggs over medium and the Chicken and Waffles with a side of scrambled eggs. As many here have mentioned, the home fries are awesome! Just a tad bit crunchy but still tender inside with the right amount of seasoning. The gravy is flavorful and filled with chunky pieces of sausage. The chicken looked to be pounded to an even thickness - something I really like and probably for easier cooking. Its ever-so-slight crust is packed with tasty seasonings. A bit of crunch on the outside and still tender and juicy inside. I tend to like my the same way - a tad bit crunchy shell with a fluffy inside; it fell short on the crunch. The waffle came with a sweet chili sauce - a bit spicy, definitely sweet, and tasty enough that we brought the rest of it home with us. The couple next to us ordered eggs and hash and the Goodway Cinnamon Roll French Toast. I had asked about the hash - if they made it in-house, which they do not. Regardless, our 'neighbor' said it was a very good hash and recommended it. The French Toast looked to be heavily dipped in egg but they said it is a 'must try' menu item as she said was delicious. The reason for 4 stars is the eggs. The over-medium eggs were a bit underdone and the scramble was a bit overdone. The diner offers baked goods, specialty coffees/espresso bar, milkshakes, an extensive lunch menu, and a full bar. And how could a menu be complete without a Trojan Omelette? Some reviewers say it's perfect to share with someone - a task we put on our to-do list. Nine eggs, three cheese, sausage, veggies, and smothered in gravy. How can you pass that up? Observation: Credit to the kitchen worker who was constantly changing his gloves. It seemed he was very aware of when he would contaminate his gloved hand/hands and would then swap out his gloves. In this day and age, they should all be as conscious as that fellow.

Yelp
Great place. Lots of character. Home fries are deep fried so it was a little too much for me. Cinnamon roll was ok but the rest was great

Yelp
A historic restaurant in downtown Troy. I've been dining here since I was a kid and still love it. Recently crushed a an eggs Benedict and loved it. Can't go wrong at Manory's.

Anna E.

Yelp
Local favorite, your classic breakfast diner that serves classic American breakfast. Service is fast and all workers are super friendly. Cafe has enough seating def recommend making a stop.
google avatar

Jessica W.

Yelp
Manorys Cafe is a hidden gem! Great food, friendly service, and that classic small-town diner feel. I highly recommend it!
google avatar

Maestro L.

Yelp
This is a very dated and nostalgic diner/breakfast eatery. It also has a bar in it. The eggs Benedict was OK. We ordered them poached hard and did not get them poached hard. The English muffins were a little bit burnt and hard to cut. The server was more interested in watching the TV than filling, coffee, and or waiting on people. This place is very pricey also.
google avatar

Amanda J.

Yelp
This is the place to go for breakfast/brunch! You'll get a mix of new customers and locals that have been coming to Manory's for decades. I had an omelette that came with potatoes that are crispy goodness and a chunky monkey latte - everything was delicious! They have plenty of food and drinks to choose from.
google avatar

Joan L.

Yelp
What a treat! We had corned beef hash and eggs for a Saturday brunch with coffee and buttery delicious sourdough toast! The room is cozy and nostalgic and the service was top notch! Can't wait to go again!

Christine M.

Yelp
the banana bread french toast was one of the *best* things I've eaten in a hot minute. 10/10. Looking forward to eating my way through their list of creative pancake options such as fruity pebbles, cookies n' cream, etc.
google avatar

Jada V.

Yelp
Nice downtown place to go with some friends or for a date. Some tasty food for good prices and nice servers. The only complaint is the grease smell that stays with you since some cooking is done in the area you are seated. But overall it's a great place to come eat at in Troy.
google avatar

Suzanne H.

Yelp
Great family place thats been open for like 100 years. Last summer they added a walk up window for ice cream, shakes and a coffee bar and have extended their hours into the evenings. Previously was only open until like 3 pm. Went recently just for a specialty latte and took a fruity pebble shake home, yum. They have so many flavors to select from. Been a few times for breakfast, great options to pick from and depending on how crowded depends on how well the service is.
google avatar

Karisa W.

Yelp
Everything was great! I got a cinnamon streusel latte and the fried egg sandwich. The home fries are very good.
google avatar

Edward S.

Yelp
Excellent service - quick and very friendly . Best breakfast in Troy area. The Irish coffee is so good. I keep coming back. Huge fan of breakfast.

Mary S.

Yelp
Want to eat breakfast in Troy? A GOOD breakfast? There's really only one place to do that and it's Manory's. Come hungry because everything is huge. The omelettes are fantastic. You can't go wrong with any of their egg Bennies. In fact it is hard to go wrong here, period. The cinnamon rolls are hot, gooey and calling your name. Coffee's pretty good too. And if you want a boozy breakfast, they have a full bar- and ice cream too. Boozy milkshakes are a specialty of the house. But the real reason to come here is because it's the best place in Troy to start your day with comfort food and top-notch service.
google avatar

Tessia B.

Yelp
i love this place! their staff are top tier all the way down to the dish washer and all of their food is freaking amazing!!!
google avatar

Jessica W.

Yelp
Cozy diner with delicious food! Trojan special omelette- perfect sized omelette to share between 2! The best part was the potatoes- they were well seasoned with the right texture of a crunchy exterior and soft interior. The gravy surprisingly added a creamy texture which balanced the mix of flavors and ingredients contained inside the omelette. Cinnamon roll- A good sized roll. It was minimally sweet with a good proportion of icing. I would prefer more cinnamon to add more flavor.
google avatar

Dawn W.

Yelp
Breakfast is good. Ambience is lacking. Needs to do repairs to building. Came when they were busy and food took long time to come out. But food was good.

Robert W.

Yelp
Great place for Breakfast in Troy. Established in 1913. I had the big breakfast, which was excellent. The French Toast is probably the best I ever had. Good size portions and the server was very friendly. Place gets busy so she was working really nonstop. Overall excellent experience
google avatar

Krista O.

Yelp
I'm town for a college visit. What a cute little down home joint. Basics are good! had a great omelette. Waffles looked good. Cinnamon bun was disappointing. But would absolutely go back! Thanks.
google avatar

Disney R.

Yelp
They have such a big menu i want to try more things hands down the best home fries in the capital region i wish they didn't close so early they have so many flavor milkshakes pancakes and coffees the coffee lacks flavor or it sinks to the bottom it's pricey here but worth it to treat yourself every once in a while i suggest eating in and not picking up especially during breakfast time it's always very crowded and they mess up orders

L P.

Yelp
Note that they only take reservations for Parise of 5 or larger. Perfectly acceptable food breakfast food but nothing fancy. Fast and friendly service. Popular neighborhood spot so get there early.
google avatar

Maggie S.

Yelp
Ummmm why have I never been here until today?! If a small child created their dream menu (or possibly a collaboration between my husband and some drunk college students) they would invent this menu right here. Let's talk lattes: I want a latte these. Case and point, the cinnamon streusel, and the chunky monkey. I'll admit I'm a latte snob, and these were heavenly. We also had buffalo fries and added chicken, spicy mild sauce but mucho flavor. The donut French toast did not disappoint, in fact they let us add peanut butter and jelly.. so yup. Coming down the homestretch, we had the breakfast nachos, which I cried a little during consumption. The server was super friendly, and the food was THE BOMB. The only "complaint" is that all of the food came out staggered, leaving some at the table with food envy. Overall, I need to plan at least 50 more trips back to try all of the goods they have to offer. If you haven't. After you're done drooling at my pictures, go.. now.
