Mantaray Island Resort

There is not a single negative thing to say about this resort. Everything exceeded our expectations. The food was amazing and great value, even with the compulsory meal package. We stayed in a beachfront villa, and it was the cleanest, most comfortable, and most beautiful room we have ever stayed in. What truly made this holiday so special was the incredible staff. They are some of the most beautiful, kind-hearted people and made our trip so memorable. A special mention to Joji, Ezzo, Pita, Wise, Sam, David, Robert and Ryan – and honestly, every single staff member we met. The sunset tubing was a major highlight of our trip, as was the night snorkelling where we saw sharks and got up close with so much amazing marine life. Not a moment went by where we weren’t doing something exciting. All of the facilities were clean, modern and extremely well maintained. The resort is perfectly located, with a vibrant, colourful reef right at your doorstep. It’s also very clear that the resort has a genuine passion for Fijian culture and takes pride in educating guests in a respectful and meaningful way. I absolutely loved my stay here! The staff were so welcoming and you felt like you were included in their little family every day! They would take the time to get to know you and remember your names, along with providing amazing service! We were located along their home coral reef allowing for easy snorkeling access to one of the most beautiful reefs! The food was also delicious! And they had so many different daily activities available that everyone could find something to do! 10/10 would come back and would recommend to everyone!

Beautiful resort with excellent staff and outstanding snorkelling right from the beach. Highly recommend! The food is great and families with kids well looked after . We stayed in a beach villa which was perfect. Especially the proximity to the beach and the wonderful outdoor bathroom!

Highly recommend this resort for an awesome experience. Relaxing, diving, snorkeling, food, people, service etc! This resort offers a variety of accommodations from beachfront villas to dorm style rooms. I went there for diving, which was fantastic, and they have an in-house dive shop, run by pros! The house reef, right in front of the resort that has some of the best snorkeling I’ve ever done! If you’re not a diver, it doesn’t matter the snorkeling is outstanding! There is a mandatory food package, three meals a day and the food was five star!!! I was shocked, many vegetarian choices as well. I can’t say enough about the food!!! The staff is amazing at the resort, they have many activities for families, singles, etc. We had a beachfront Villa, steps to the water and the reef! This is one of the best resorts I’ve stayed at in the world!! 4 nights was not long enough! FYI, this can be added as a stop on the Bula Pass boat to all the Yasawa islands!

This resort is fantastic, exceeded our expectations. Went there for diving, which they have an in-house dive shop with an excellent staff, friendly, knowledgeable, and safe! The house reef in front of the resort is some of the best snorkeling I’ve ever done in the world! They provide you with snorkeling equipment, or you can bring your own. I can’t say enough about the food at this resort it was five star. Every meal was fantastic! Fresh fish, vegetarian choices, etc. great value! Nightly enjoyed walking to Sunset beach with the most beautiful sunsets. I highly recommend a four or more nights stay, as there are lots of activities on the island such as diving, snorkeling, paddleboarding, kayaking, Fishing, relaxing! The staff are amazing, very attentive, and the rooms were beautiful, very clean, just an incredible stay all around!!

I booked this stay for a very special occasion, and it exceeded every expectation. The resort feels incredibly intimate — more like a private escape than a commercial property, which sets it apart from others in the Yasawas. The seaside bures are stunning, with direct access to vibrant coral reefs right at your doorstep — truly unforgettable. Huge shout-out to the kitchen team for delivering restaurant-quality service and outstanding food, a refreshing step above the usual buffet experience. What truly sets this place apart, though, is the dedication of the entire team. Their warmth and sincere hospitality made this stay not just a vacation, but a lifelong memory. This place will stay in my heart forever. 10/10 — I can’t wait to return.

We stayed for 3 nights in the dorm and had the best time ever! The staff really made our time extra special! The food was incredible and couldn’t fault it, the activities were so good especially the snorkelling and the village visit is a must! Special shoutout to Ennie for being the best host, she made our time really special and had endless stories and information that we found so interesting! Also shoutout to Pitta, Sam and Save in the restaurant, they were sooooo accommodating and friendly, as well as Pate and George for being legends! We are really sad to go and definitely want to come back!!

Stayed here for two nights in the dorm and it was perfect! The dorm was very clean and spacious. The food was also very tasty, served by Save, who took very good care of us. We were lucky enough to see the meke performance by the staff which was brilliant! We booked a village visit to the Soso village, and we were guided by Luccia. Luccia was very friendly and knowledgeable about the island. A great tour guide! We will definitely be back again!
