Really, really loved my time at Mantaray Island Resort. The staff are absolutely incredible, went above and beyond at every opportunity to make our stay even more comfortable and enjoyable. I noticed after my first night that almost every staff member I interacted with already knew my name and were quick to greet me with big smiles. It was a really nice personal touch. The guided snorkeling and sunset tubing activities were wonderful and a perfect mix of exciting and relaxing.

Nice little resort with amazing snorkeling right off the beach. Rooms are fairly basic, but comfortable. Food was good, but the menu is a bit repetitive and some portions are on the small side. Staff was great, very friendly and helpful.

The food was lovely, lunch is the best with multiple options. The wood fire pizzas are a great additive if you get hungry in the afternoon and lots of snack options at the bar. The dorms leave a little to be desired as it’s a 32 bed dorm, but the resort is a nice mix of families, backpackers and honeymooners. Lots of options for activities. The kayaks and SUP’s are in great condition. Bathrooms were always clean. If you are staying in the dorms they allow you to lock your valuables in the safe which is a very nice option. The snorkeling in front of the resort is excellent, sometimes the manta rays are right there including some reef sharks! Dive equipment was in good shape.

(Edited from an earlier accidental lower rating) We had a lovely stay at Mantaray Island Resort in October 2024. The snorkelling on the reef right in front of the resort was exceptional, and a highlight was seeing a reef manta ray barrel-rolling above the reef on our first afternoon. We also took a couple of guided snorkeling trips to the Drawaqa Passage and other reefs further away when low tides prevented snorkelling from the beach. We stayed in a Beachfront Villa which was very comfortable, and we appreciated having the air-conditioning. The quality of meals was a little inconsistent given the cost of the compulsory meal plan: some dishes were excellent (The Hook on the lunch menu was a highlight) and some quite poor, but food was always plentiful and reasonably quick to arrive. Some more varied vegetarian options would have been nice. One of the things we particularly liked about the resort was the attentiveness and friendliness of the all the staff. And we loved meeting Billy the baby goat!

Thank you Mantray Island Resort. We had the most amazing time. Stayed in a beach villa with 2 adults and 2 children and the was plenty of space. Straight onto the beach for snorkelling. We did fishing a few times, scuba diving. Brand new equipment - only 2 weeks old! The food exceeded my expectations. The staff were lovely. Loved sitting on the main deck enjoying a sunset rose!!

We loved our holiday at Mantaray Island Resort. We travelled as a family (2 kids) and had a fantastic time. Accommodation (beach front villa) was lovely and clean. It had a TV but im not sure why as there was no reception so probably not required. The food was great and lots of variety. My kids especially liked that there was a kids menu. Plenty of activities and the snorkeling with mantaray was an incredible experience. My only complaint is that there was really no where to do any exercise as very limited options for a walk/run on the small island and no gym facilities, but I may be one of the few people that want to exercise on holiday :)

Amazing location, amazing resort and amazing staff! Can’t say enough about this hidden gem. I stayed in a Treehouse Bure and it was perfect, very clean and breezy with the shutters open and fan going. I was worried about having no air conditioning but I didn’t need it at all despite the heat. A lovely breeze comes through at night! The coral reef right out the front of the resort is UNREAL! Lots of fish, stingrays, starfish, eels, and colourful coral! The activities available to try and join in were great- we did sunset tubing, fishing, guided snorkel, bracelet making, and scuba diving. The scuba diving equipment was brand new! The Yasawa Islands are truly magical and I will definitely be back with the whole family next time. Mantaray Island Resort is amazing.

Absolutely amazing resort with such kind staff. Jay was especially awesome! Billy the goat is such a sweet addition to the island and the beauty of the property really shines through. The snorkeling was amazing and I would love to come back on manta season!
