This is probably my favorite egg tart shop in Lisbon. Tried egg tarts from 4 different shops during our trip and I enjoyed the ones from Manteigarie the most. The custard in the middle was of perfect texture, not too runny but tasted about right. The outer shell was very crispy and still fell warm when served. While it was crispy and flaky, it did NOT feel greasy or oily at all! Definitely worth to wait a bit in the line for their egg tarts.

The nata taste is different from the usual ones. I personally liked it, it was enjoyable. Since its located in the city center, be prepared to wait more than 10 minutes on the line.

It’s a pretty famous spot where you can watch Pastéis de Nata being made fresh. There was a line, but it moved quickly. The pastry shell was super thin and flaky—not crunchy—while the filling was thick, creamy, and not too eggy, though a bit too sweet for my taste. The cinnamon flavor was also stronger compared to other places I’ve tried. It was okay for me, but many people love it. Give it a try if you’re curious!

This is our second time visiting Lisbon, and this place is an absolute must-visit! After trying pastel de nata from a bunch of spots, this one definitely takes the cake. The staff were super friendly, and even though there was usually a queue, the wait was never too long. The tarts are buttery, flaky, and have the perfect balance of pastry to custard. Highly recommend!

think I tried more than 20 Pastéis de Nata in different places in Lisbon, but if I had to recommend this one, the one with the crispiest, flakiest dough. What surprised me is that the real magic of this pastry isn’t actually in the custard filling, but in the incredibly layered, crispy, golden outer shell.

Tried all the nata chains in portugal, this one was the best of all. (Other than the original in Belem)
Warm and crispy pastry, sweet and creamy, soft filling.
The filling was a bit watery, but I personally liked the texture.
Price was 1,4€ per nata.

These little pastel de natas are made here fresh all day long so you get them nice and hot.
You can watch how they are made. Although there is always a queue but the service is fairly fast.
Pro tip: try to sprinkle some cinnamon powder over them at the counter it makes them even better.

A great place to try a traditional dessert - Pastel de nata. The cafe has an open kitchen, and you can see how the cakes are made. The taste of Pastel is great, very and very tasty! Cherry liqueur is also delicious. In bakery a lot of people, but the line moves quickly. For 2 cappuccinos (cappuccino was not so gut), 4 pastels and 1 liqueur we paid 11€, which is a fairly low price for Europe. The food is packed in branded packaging, which is convenient.
