i’ve only tried the pastel de nata here and a smaller local bakery and i have to say i preferred the one i got here!! the custard was creamy but firm, and the crust was the perfect amount of crisp. i went early so there was no line, the pasteles were freshly baked and warm, and the worker even let me choose the one my heart desired! lovely experience, ooo i recommend to request some cinnamon on your nata :P

Pastel de nata is Portugal’s national dessert, and Manteigaria is often said to make the best ones—after visiting, I can confidently say that the hype is real. The pastéis de nata were absolutely out of this world. Perfectly crispy on the outside, creamy on the inside, and bursting with flavor. They were so good that I had to buy six more to take home for my family to try. Honestly, these are some of the best pastries I’ve had in my life. Manteigaria is an absolute must-try when visiting Lisbon.

One of the best pastel de nata I’ve ever tried maybe even the best so far! I’ve tried many before, but none were worth recommending until this one. Mr. Bruno was very welcoming and shared the history behind this traditional sweet. We even had a great talk about CR7 and his mentality! In my opinion, if you visit Lisbon you must try this place and eat it immediately to enjoy the full experience. Highly recommended 💯

💚💚Fabulous!!💚💚 you just HAVE to go. The busier the better because when they are busy you get them warm directly from the oven. No sitting around time. Have had them both ways 1@this location 1@ another of their locations. Fabulous either way but if you get the chance for busy and out of the oven get in line and wait for it ……..

I had been wanting to try authentic Portuguese tarts forever. This place had pretty high reviews so we popped in. Stood in line and grabbed a box. Found a seat outside and took a bite. The tarts are super sweet. Crust was nice but the custard was too sweet. It was creamy. Not at all like the Portuguese tarts in California. Not my cup of tea.

In my opinion, the best Pastel de Nata I have eaten so far. The cake was crunchy, while the custard is sweet and soft. Really make a harmony in my mouth. Will definitely come here again.

Had quite a few Pasteis de Nata during my visit to Lisbon but these were consistent and delectable. The crust was the perfect crispness and the custard was sweet, but had that nice cinnamon punch to it. highly recommend getting an espresso to help balance out the sweetness - as how a Pasteis de Nata should be eaten! There’s regularly a queue for this place, when we first arrived and walking to the hotel; it was queuing down the street! They are open until midnight, so you’ll find at least some downtime to be able to get yours. Had to get two sleeves of 6 to take home with me; they were even queuing as they opened at 8am! They are a chain, but their marketing on the trams and around Lisbon makes it hard not to at least give them a try and I’m glad I did.

Long queue in front of this place indicates that it is worth waiting for your turn to get those delicious Pastel de nata 😊 not only they are warm and taken straight from the oven but their flavor is outstanding !🤩 staff is very friendly too! Too bad there is not a lot of seating spots outside to sit down and enjoy your coffee.☕️
