Well located and clean but showing its age. Cupboards wouldn't shut properly, air conditioner wasn't reverse cycle so no heating apart from a small convection plug in heater. No access to any pay TV apps like Netflix or Prime etc., and only limited free to air channels. However for what we paid, it was good value and I would stay here again.

I DO NOT recommend. They tried to overcharge me for my stay. I had to ask the receptionist to correct the price (I booked months in advance on their website- not an external site). The second bed was not set up- I had to ask 4 different staff members for a spare duvet (so I could set the second bed up). I was told by the first 3 staff members that they do not have a spare one for me (strange statement from a hotel that’s job is to sleep people). The 4th staff member gave me one with no cover. There was sweat stains and a blood stain on it. The Glass top on the desk in the room slid off, narrowly missing my daughter’s feet. So we were unable to also use the desk. Great location- awful experience.

Really nice room which was super clean and quiet. Beds were great, sofa bed average. Weird crockery allocation with only one mug and 2 glasses for 5 people! And the keys were super annoying and intermittent. Perfect location for a group catch up in the CBD

Upon arrival, one staff member spoke very rudely off the bat which set the tone for the rest of our day, speaking to us as if we should already know everything. The check out experience felt rushed, no nice greeting or asking how our stay was. The room was quite dirty which made it an uncomfortable stay. With stains on the curtains, marks on the walls and the shower clearly never having been deep cleaned, it made us feel uneasy and question everything we were touching. It was extremely disappointing as we had another hotel booked prior, but cancelled that and booked with mantra last minute because of the location and the photos looked great. Safe to say we regretted that decision. Location was truly the only upside.

Generally feels like a jail. Card didn’t work on second night stay, and there’s no reception. Had to really search hard to find a number to call, which required listening to voicemail repeatedly and remembering the number as I didn’t have a pen, and it wasn’t posted anywhere in the foyer. Eventually a nice dude let me in but the dude (whoever that was) said they couldn’t resolve the issue with my keycard so I was essentially locked in my room until the next day when reception opened. I was hoping to grab a bite to eat for dinner but noooooooo. First time and a last time.

We stayed at Mantra 100 Exhibition for one night to attend a concert at Rod Laver Arena which was an ideal walking distance away. The apartment did show wear and tear but was very clean and comfortable. The reception staff were friendly and helpful. It was great to have two separate bedrooms and a kitchen to cook our own meals. Good price for a comfy 2 bedroom apartment in the city.

Dirty, unsafe rooms with no support from management staff. Check in was closed due to public holiday despite no previous notification about this. When arrived in our room, the whole place stunk. It was dirty and covered in dust. The window in the lounge room had no safety screen and was able to open fully to a large gap that my 4 year old could easily fall out. There was no lock on the window and nobody could help with safety. We ordered and paid for breakfast online. There was no mention that this was just a breakfast basket that arrives after 9am and it only contained 2 of each item despite having 4 people in the apartment. Breakfast arriving after 9am is useless for most people particularly travelling families. Furthermore, we have children with allergies and this was not even something they could eat at all. After one night, I was so concerned for the safety of my children that I was unable to stay one further night. Having a window that opens as wide as this on a high floor is illegal and dangerous. It is too late when a child falls out this window so it’s not good enough at all. I needed to protect my family so we left and had to pay for a full expensive fee elsewhere in the city.

This is NOT a four star hotel. The mattress on the bed was cheap, nasty and hard as a rock. I didn’t get any sleep and left exhausted and sore. There is a small hot water tank in the room which ran out after 5 minutes and does not hold enough water for 4 people. The bathroom was dirty. I do not recommend
