My friend and I stayed in twin rooms. Was a great set up, although we didn't like that there were two single beds pushed together to pretend to be a double bed. Outside of that we loved our stay! Staff were very helpful and friendly. The rooms were clean and tidy. Guests were friendly. Having 24 hour front desk support was great. The affordability of the stay was great and I'd happily stay there again. Recommended.

I completely recommend staying at the Mantra Charles Hotel Launceston. The staff were friendly and very helpful when booking in and out the hotel. The rooms are well laid out and have everything you need for your stay. My only recommendation for the rooms is an upgrade to the range of channels provided on the televisions. The restaurant vibe was lovely and the staff where very welcoming and friendly. The chefs are to commended on the standard of food that left the kitchen. It was so good I changed my plans to eat there on my second nights stay. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay and highly recommend.

Excellent place to stay. Clean, tasteful rooms. Service by all staff were really nice and helpful. Breakfast was great - plus being served by people that enjoy their jobs with great personalities-maybe the best service we have ever received. also dinner - steak was perfect, a great flavour We had a lovely stay.

All staff are amazing, friendly and helpful ( we will miss Phil thou) . The accommodation is beautiful and clean. The food is so amazing and delicious ( I will post pictures if it lets me). Our experience all round is A+ and the best we have ever had. This will be our favourite hotel in the future. Also close to everything you will ever need during your stay.

We arrived in Launceston today to spend our second last night Tasmania. From meeting reception , to getting to our room. Everything went smoothly. Our room is light, furnished in relaxing tones. Dinner was a spur of the moment decision. Our entree hubby and I shared very delicious, mains both ordered fish, both were amazing - fish n chips for me , hubby chose Salmon….the desert topped it off. Affagata came with actually choice of liquor .of course we both chose the same . Our waitress was top notch . She finished her shift but would recommend her services. Tim gave outstanding service. Our compliments to waitress, chef and Tim. Top service. No complaints at all. Thank you.m

The hotel is located on a hill, and it looks like near other clinics and hospitals. Great if you're visiting the sick. Our room type was a basic studio. Great size, comfortable bed, and big bathroom. The kitchenette is fully stocked if you are staying longer than overnight. BUT the orange coloured chairs were disgusting! Stained and really brought the image of the room down. Tim in the restaurant was OUTSTANDING! The menu and the size proportions on your plate were well worth it. Local wine prices I felt a little steep. Like I said before, car parking here is free, and bonus if your on a budget.

We stayed in an executive studio. It really couldn’t be faulted. Clean, smart, nice kitchenette, lovely bathroom.|Staff were great! Nicole and Tim - 5 star service - very nice to have someone know our room no, remember how we had our coffees - actually Nicole gets a 10 star rating.|Heaps of places to go very close by.

Had an amazing stay. The room was quite spacious, with a balcony, which is a rarity in Tasmania. The staff were pleasant making me feel at home and comfortable. The food at the restaurant was great, and a special shoutout to Nicole Harris who went out of her was to give local recommendations, and even made the coffee just how I like it. (Sorry laid on the bed before I took a picture)

Yelp
We stayed only the one night of a two week driving tour of Tassie, to dine at a steak restaurant in town. We couldn't be more impressed with the room and the hotel! Modern décor surrounded our king size bed - much of it exclusive to the hotel (you'll love the window blind!). The ceiling is probably 12ft high, and the ensuite quite roomy. The hotel now has in-room free wi-fi as well as cabled broadband. The lobby and restaurant/lounge are compact, but classy and well looked after by the staff. Hotel Charles is located a short walk South of the CBD on a plot previously part of the Hospital. It shares many of its parking spots with a number of businesses during the day, so there are signs reserving spaces for hotel guests only from 5:30pm to 8:30am. If you can only get one of those spaces when you arrive, the obligation to shift would be a downside of your stay.

Yelp
Stayed here for one night. The rooms are modern, new and clean. This hotel is great value for money and included free high speed internet (cable only, no wifi). The front desk staff were friendly and helpful. Would happily stay here again in Launceston. The only downside for this hotel, is its a short walk from the restaurant/cafe part of town. This isn't too much of issue if you are happy with a 10 minute stroll.

Yelp
Had coffee in the small lounge area. Coffee scored 4 out of 10, tables had dirty cups and the seats were the most uncomfortable I have ever sat on! !
