We had 2 families staying at the Mantra Hindmarsh for 2 nights under separate bookings . I made contact with the hotel to see if we could have our rooms near each other. The staff managed to locate us 2 suites opposite each other at the end of the corridor, which was awesome. We were so please they manage to accommodate our request. Rooms were clean, staff were friendly and location is central. As a family we a stay here regularly.

Just stayed here over the weekend with my partner for the first time for not only quality time but convenience as we were attending a Con over the time too. Great location, not too far from shops or transport. We booked a suite room which was very spacious and inviting upon entry. The double bed was so comfy and I loved how we had our own mini kitchen, with tea and coffee provided, microwave and even a dishwasher. Very well kept too in all areas, bathroom, kitchen etc. Near the foyer area there's a pool table and place called Dj Diners & Bar where you can go for dinner and a drink. My partner and I thought the burgers were top notch as well as the sweet potato fries. Overall, a great experience.

We made a good decision to book Mantra Hindmarsh for our family vacation in Adelaide. The facility is lovely and near to all happening places, which we could visit by walk or by bus. We had a pleasant stay during our 3-night stay. The staff are friendly, especially the ones at the reception and the bar. Highly recommended for s stay with family

We had a fantastic stay at Mantra Apartments over Easter! From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. They were especially kind to the kids, which made the experience even more enjoyable for our family. The location is excellent—close to everything we needed and perfect for exploring the area. Our room was spotless, cleaned daily with fresh towels and beds made, which we really appreciated. Over the Easter weekend, the hotel had lots of fun activities for the kids, which made being away from home during the holidays feel really special. Our daughter even won a prize—it wasn’t just chocolate, but something really thoughtful, which she absolutely loved! Every request we made was met with a smile and taken care of quickly. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay relaxing and memorable. Highly recommend and would definitely stay again!

My family and I had a great stay at Mantra, the rooms were great and the service from Nicky down in DJ'S cafe/bar was excellent. Plus they have a lot of fantastic gluten free options for my wife and daughter. The location of the Mantra is perfect. Everything is only a close walk away.

Great hotel, generously sized rooms. Was nice to have the comfort of an apartment rather than a hotel room. Staff were lovely!

2 adult and 1 teenager staying in their Park View Suites, very spacious and spotlessly clean. The housekeeping did excellent job. Also good quality bedding and towels. The only downside is how thin the walls. Bring earplugs if light sleeper.

Great hotel / apartments. Spacious, clean and a great location. Parking underneath the building is good for a small to medium sized car. For SUV's etc, it would be tight getting in, but there is a U Park within a couple of minutes walk. Staff were excellent, and the breakfast is great with plenty of seating inside, or there are tables outside as well, looking over Hindmarsh square. Would definitely stay at Mantra again.

Yelp
Really great hotel. The location is wonderful. There's a park across the street and the primary shopping area/tourist area is two blocks away. I always mix business and pleasure when I travel. My room here was delightful. Large main room, separate bedroom. Bathroom down the hall. Much larger than a normal hotel room. Kitchenette with fridge and microwave. I would have preferred a work table, but the bar-height workspace was large and worked very well. The overall feel was extremely comfortable and it was easy to just settle in and feel at home. The staff were great, especially at the bar. Bar/dining area opens to the sidewalk seating. In October the weather was pretty perfect. It took me a full day to understand the bartending staff. The Adelaide accent is a bit stronger than Melbourne or Sydney. But they are very patient with Americans who ask for everything to be repeated three times. I stayed four nights and had an excellent experience. Would recommend it and would stay here again.

Yelp
Luxury, great position, highly competitive in a relatively spare market around the city. South Australia has some very good high end hotels in some beautiful places like Kangaroo Island and the Flinders Rangers (Wilpena Pound) but there is not a lot in the capital city that is modern luxury. Before any other Yelpers start waxing on about their opinion compared to mine, yes there are some nice places, but I think in the city the nicest places are the historical ones that have been made over - until you stay over at Mantra you can't compare. Big rooms, very lush, plush and highly relaxing. Of course you pay a high price, but compared to other capital cities the price is relatively good; it is high for Adelaide. But expect great service plus, and great rooms plus, and you may be visiting, but end up staying in your room the whole time you are here, because it is nice.

Yelp
I had to organise a work lunch with big wigs from interstate. A meeting was to follow, so I booked, organised pre-orders, etc all to ensure it ran on time. The menu seemed varied, so it was a good choice for everyone it seemed. We arrived and the table was set for us. There was no fuss about adding a late-comer. We were greeted by friendly professional staff. Our pre-ordered meals came to the table quickly, with our last minute meal not far behind. The food was fresh, tasty and flavourful. The servings were generous. I had a crispy beef salad, which was excellent. Now the not-so-good. There was one vegetarian choice on the menu and it was a heavy pasta dish. I didn't realise this limitation until one of the attendees ordered a salad and chips as her meal. The menu could easily add a vegetarian sandwich or pizza choice, but I was taken by surprise by a menu that had so few choices for vegetarians in this day and age. While the kitchen clearly had its act together, front of house did not. Drinks orders were limited, but to water during the meal, but only one pitcher appeared for a 14 person table. The second pitcher was brought at the end of the meal after repeated requests. Coffee orders were placed. 20 minutes later, when it was clear no one was staffing the espresso machine, inquiries were made, some people had to leave and cancel their orders. Others finally got their coffees about 10 minutes later. Time to pay and it took another 10 minutes per person to settle up. Unsure if they were understaffed and not well-trained or not well-managed or some combination of all three. But a restaurant catering to an upmarket lunch crowd should do better. In short, great food. The restaurant shows promise but there is room for improvement. I'll give it another go but maybe when less is riding on it.

Yelp
It's quite confusing trying to find affordable, well cheap, accommodation in the CBD for that one night stay. We were attending a function at the Griffins and the Mantra kept popping up in my searches as close and cheaper than some. We chose the 2 bedroom apartment for $149.00. Originally we only needed it for 2 people but having an extra room left the option for someone else to join us. I know it was advertised as suitable for 3 people only but when you think 2 bedroom, you think you could sleep 4 comfortably. There was one bedroom with a double bed and the other with a single. Late changes made it that we actually needed to sleep 4, so an extra trundle bed was arranged. This cost an extra $40.00! I felt it was now getting a little expensive but all good. Unfortunately the single bedroom didn't have enough space to put the trundle in it, so we had to rearrange the lounge area for the bed. This made for not much living room space! Apart from that it was a modern, small apartment with a enclosed balcony. The balcony had no outdoor furniture so it was standing only if you wished to take in the fresh air and the view. In retrospect, I wish I had asked to change our booking to something made for 4 people because in the end, it probably would not have cost that much more. The fridge was literally full of their drinks which we had to move out to accommodate our own foods and drinks. Its a pet hate. I would prefer it empty. Still I liked the location, the staff and the room. Thumbs up!
