This hotel is absolutely fabulous! Nestled in the heart of nature, it offers a serene and peaceful escape that feels like a dream. The individual cottages are a fantastic touch, they provide so much privacy, making it perfect for a relaxing getaway. The rooms are incredibly spacious and beautifully designed, blending comfort with a modern yet cozy vibe. Everything was spotlessly clean and thoughtfully arranged, making it feel like a home away from home. The on-site restaurant is exceptional, serving delicious dishes that delighted our taste buds with every meal. It’s clear the culinary team takes great pride in their work. The staff here are amazing: helpful, friendly, and always going out of their way to ensure you have the best experience. Their attention to detail and warm hospitality made my stay truly memorable. We can’t wait to go back to this little slice of paradise. Highly recommend it to anyone looking for a perfect nature retreat!

It was a divine experience at Mantra Koodam and one of a kind in the Kumbakonam area. The resort is a mix of traditional and modern architecture of the southern tamilnadu culture sourrounded by nature. The Mantra Deluxe Illam was wonderful with huge rooms and old-styled door handles/windows. The famous Kumbakonam degree coffe at the "Tea Kadai" early morning was mesmerizing and we had the chance to feed rice to the peacocks there as well. The breakfast and dinner was great and the ambience while having breakfast was wonderful.||The staff were so helpful and responsive. Kudos to them for maintaining this property and for all the support they provided during our stay.||Will definitely recommend this resort to my friends and family and will stay in CHG properties again!

A long overdue 'temple visit' beautifully fulfilled - with Mantrakoodam being our abode - to stay, enjoy and fulfill our visits. We stayed for 4 days, wish we could've done more. |Beautiful, traditional villas that brought back fond childhood memories, traditional food with clean, fresh vegetables grown in their vast property, cycling tours to explore nature's beauty, hands-on sessions on local traditions (kolam, kalari,fish feeding),......and the goodies list goes on. |The activities offered in the property keeps one engaged with nature and definitely helps to forget technology and social media. A 'must go-to' abode for those yearning to switch off from their hectic, stressful routine - to relax, rejuvenate, live life and cherish nature's beauty.|A special thanks to Mr Harish and team for the personal touch and care extended to us. We had a fantastic experience at Mantra Koodam. The staff are so pleasant and well trained. The authentic chola inspired food at the restaurant is simply exceptional. CGH earth focusses on creating memorable experiences that differ from your routine or regular hotel stay. So if you're expecting fat menus and television in your room, this isn't the place for you - how ever if you're keen to explore cuisines made to perfection and enjoy the quiet beautiful property with aesthetically made old Tamil bungalow style rooms and immerse yourself among the sound of birds, peacocks giving you company at the tea/coffee stall (kadai) and a whole range of curated experiences like bird watching, kollam making, pottery and fish feeding to name a few, Mantra Koodam is your best bet and an unforgettable experience.

This eco-friendly resort has a serene atmosphere and calming energy. The rooms are very well appointed. Beds and pillows are comfortable. The Ayurvedic centre has numerous wellness treatments that are well worth it. The food is delicious, especially enjoyed the breakfast buffet that has something for every taste. The staff are friendly and helpful. Take advantage of everything the resort has to offer. No need to leave the grounds if you don’t want to.

Very nice hotel that extends in a very well maintained and well-kept area and with a lot of activities and courses, unfortunately in fact it needs a car to get there and it is not conceivable to go out for a walk. Atmosphere and tranquility truly of excellence. Very friendly, welcoming and helpful staff. Good restaurant, with good value for money. The rooms are spacious, well maintained, with refined furnishings and equipped with all comforts. Good and varied breakfast. Good wifi. The Ayurvedic SPA is very good. The doctor is very kind, helpful and competent.

If someone likes to live in a natural environment, with excellent service, this is the best place. No pollution. beautifully designed individual cottages, without sharing the walls gives you the fullest privacy. NO TV, to pollute you with local politics and news.|Excellent breakfast.|If one can afford with the own vehicle, this is an ideal place.|Excellent staff and friendly personnel.|You can chart your plans go around comeback relax.|Enjoy.

We loved our two nights at Mantra Koodam - it’s an oasis of calm and a great base to explore local temples and understand Tamil Nadu culture. The team were so hospitable and clearly care deeply about the hotel, the community and the environment. The Foods of Ainthinai concept menu that we were treated to on our final night was so special - highly creative, totally delicious and flavours / foods unlike anything we have had so far on the trip; thank you to the team who conceptualised and executed it so well! We hope to return!
