Sensational Staff and Location From the moment we checked in, to when we checked out, the staff were friendly, helpful, and kind. Anything we requested, they were too happy to adhere to. Housekeeping went above and beyond, and the location was superb. A few minutes walk from constitution dock and the information centre (where we booked most of our tours). The staff were always happy to offer recommendations to eat, shop, and tour. The rooms could do with a bit of an update, but they were spacious and comfortable and with a full kitchen. It was easy to eat in or eat out. We were pleasantly surprised to find reasonably priced breakfasts and coffee downstairs It would have been nice to have a softer bed, but with the amount of room and amenities we had, we were happy overall with our room. Thank you staff!

Absolutely love this small hotel. I have never before wanted the toiletries from a hotel in my home but I actually searched up these ones from Urban skincare Co to purchase. As Accor plus members we get extra little percs like a free welcome drink but when we stay here we are treated like VIPs. The breakfasts are amazing at the little cafe in the foyer and it is a short walk to the hospital and waterfront. We have stayed on 4 occasions and service is constantly very good.

The Mantra Collins is centrally located and within easy walking distance of Constitution Dock, Salamanca Markets, City Heart and the main bus stop for Red Deck Bus plus many more tourist sites and also good quality low cost meals.||Ensure you read the parking information as it assists you greatly and parking whilst provided by an independent operator is easily accessed through a ground floor walkway.||One of the greatest assets to this property is its staff and the enthusiasm and warm communication with guests. All staff had this great attitude. The rooms are a decent size for two people and was clean and comfortable. The bathroom could not be faulted. My only grumble with the rooms was the pillows, no not the size or softness but the smell in two of four pillows. The smell continued even after the linen change. I would suggest that the pillows need replacing.||Breakfast is good, whilst not a buffet, you have the opportunity to have a selected cooked breakfast rather then a bain marie buffet food.||Apart from the above grumble, I would have no hesitation in recommending this place to stay, it is also very easy to get into and out of if you have a hire care and seeing the sites.

Comfy corner room with separate kitchenette/lounge with TV. Extra TV in bedroom. Bed was super-comfy. Great location halfway between the waterfront and retail CBD. Reception staff were friendly. Would stay there again. Coffee shop downstairs - didn't use.

One bedroom apartment was well designed, full of natural light with wraparound views of the river.||Full sized fridge with working freezer including ice cube maker, comfortable lounge, dining table, desk. Highly efficient reverse cycle air conditioner. Good blackout curtains.||Housekeeping staff were friendly, fast and super efficient. Front of house staff friendly and very helpful||Location perfect for walking to CBD and docks.||After a comfortable and restful week, I would certainly return.

Great budget friendly hotel close to the harbour. Rooms are spacious and very clean. Bed was comfy and shower had good pressure and hot water. Had an issue with the air con on the first night making an unbearable sound, but they had us in a better room within 20 mins which was fantastic. The staff were super friendly and went above and beyond.

I recently stayed while attending a conference at the Grand Chancellor hotel (a block away). The hotel offered good value and a great location - close to the docks, Salamanca and CBD shops. The front desk staff were very helpful and friendly and assisted with a number of requests. There is a free laundry for guest to use. The rooms are very comfortable and clean with all amenities. |Highly recommend this hotel.

We had a last minute staycation in Hobart and as I am a few nights short of platinum in the Accor program, we chose this hotel. I’m an Accor plus member so got a good rate of $199 including breakfast. The parking arrangements are easy - park next door at the Market place car park and they validate ticket for $18 rate. ||The welcome was lovely and we were recognised as Accor gold members with an upgrade to a 1 bedroom apartment and a bottle of wine and fudge in the room. ||The room itself was lovely with views of the water and kunanyi. The separate bedroom was comfy with a new bathroom and a kitchen in the other room. We enjoyed the hot chocolate and tea selection.||Breakfast was a la Carte and we had eggs Benedict with pineapple juice and hot chocolates. ||Overall a great stay and good to be recognised for my loyalty to Accor (unlike a recent stay at Sofitel Sydney darling harbour).
