Mantra on Collins Hobart

The hotel is in a great location, easy to get to using the skybus from the airport, easy walk into town or down to the waterfront area. |The room was clean and pretty comfortable, staff were really friendly and helpful. |It is an older hotel, so it did seem a bit tired in places.

This hotel is not your exclusive top end hotel but it does serve the purpose for those just looking for a good hotel in a good location.||The beds are comfortable and the pillows soft and the rooms are quiet on the higher levels.||The water pressure was a little low in the shower but nothing major. You get the standard coffee, milk etc in the rooms.||The staff are friendly and efficient and the location is close to the waterfront and lots of restaurants and a 10 min walk to Salamanca. ||I would stay here again.

This is the first time we have stayed at a Mantra hotel. I was pleasantly surprised with the warm welcome we received and the services offered. The front desk staff were most helpful, especially Prasan and Dan and Phil in the cafe.

The hotel’s location is perfect – it’s just a short walk to the harbour and tourist information centre, where you can easily catch most tours. Conveniently close to the SkyBus stop, it’s also easy to get to the airport. We booked a spacious one-bedroom apartment, and the supermarket is within minutes’ walk. The friendly staff is welcoming to all races, and the breakfast is fresh and delicious. The room cleaning was satisfactory, making it a great base for exploring Hobart. We had a great time and would highly recommend this hotel.

From the moment we arrived, the service was exceptional. Dan at reception was incredibly welcoming and made us feel right at home straight away. Room 602 was a very spacious and well appointed apartment. It consisted of a kitchen, lounge/dining area, bedroom and bathroom. All spotlessly clean and very comfortable. There was a big cupboard for clothes, a place to put suitcases and a safe. The location of the hotel was great with the city, Salamanca Market and wharf within walking distance. Our only problem was with the parking, and we suggested to reception that they include more details on their website about where customers should park in the adjoining public car park. It's pretty simple: park in any "Reserved" spot on levels 2 - 6, and have reception validate your parking ticket. The staff were friendly and helpful.

I had a fantastic 5-day stay at Mantra on Collins in Hobart in a 1 BHK apartment. The space was beautifully maintained—clean, cozy, and equipped with everything I needed. The location couldn’t have been better, right in the heart of the city and close to amazing cafes, restaurants, and local attractions. The staff were warm, welcoming, and always ready to help. Overall, it was a truly enjoyable and comfortable experience—I’d happily stay here again and highly recommend it!
