Mantra on Collins Hobart

We stayed here for 4 nights in a 1 bedroom “executive” apartment. Poor value for money. There is a discounted parking rate of $18/day next door.||Our room needs painting (dirty), the sofa was odd, the veneer was chipped from the wooden chair. There was mold where the glass shower wall meets the floor. Not what I expected given the cost.||Staff at reception was very efficient and welcoming, the bed was comfortable and the location convenient.

Dear Mantra Staff, Our 7 nights accommodation in two Mantra hotels in Tasmania (2 nights in Launceston and 5 nights in Hobart) were booked through our normal travel agent, Flight Centre. I will let the Cleveland Flight Centre know that their recommedation, for our requirements, was perfect. I take this opportunity to thank the front of house staff for making our 4th vacation to Tasmania a very memorable experience. The greetings on arrival, the room, the breakfast were all perfect. Bathroom consumables not topped up. Even after requested - still not topped up. Paying an average of $500 per night - the lack of decent tea bags (could you spare a few cents more and even get lipton tea??). Promise of nice views, from my room - Didn't get any. The place didn't look to busy either.

Very nice accommodation. Bed and room were clean and neat. Shower pressure was a bit lower than I'd like, but the water was hot and plentiful. Staff very friendly and enjoy breakfast downstairs each day. Would look to stay here again.

The furniture is damaged, the half sofa an odd choice, the veneer was half peeled from the chair. There is mold at the base of the glass shower wall and floor. Poor value for money spent. On a positive note the bed was comfortable and the location convenient. Reception staff was very welcoming. Parking next door for $18 daily.

The hotel is in a great location, easy to get to using the skybus from the airport, easy walk into town or down to the waterfront area. |The room was clean and pretty comfortable, staff were really friendly and helpful. |It is an older hotel, so it did seem a bit tired in places.

This hotel is not your exclusive top end hotel but it does serve the purpose for those just looking for a good hotel in a good location.||The beds are comfortable and the pillows soft and the rooms are quiet on the higher levels.||The water pressure was a little low in the shower but nothing major. You get the standard coffee, milk etc in the rooms.||The staff are friendly and efficient and the location is close to the waterfront and lots of restaurants and a 10 min walk to Salamanca. ||I would stay here again.

We stayed here on NYE as a couple. Perfect location for anyone to stay as it's close to the waterfront and lots of restaurants. 5 minutes walk to Salamanca Market and 2 minute walk to the city and all forms of transport. Would highly recommend for any visitors to Hobart.
