Mantra on Frome Adelaide

I’ve only been in the hotel for 5 hours and still in it and already the staff have been exceptional! The location is great! Close to the main attractions but far enough to not be in the middle of all the traffic. Unfortunately I’m not sure who worked this morning, but he was absolutely wonderful! Met room requirements, then went beyond to even print, search and direct me to the wineries nearby! Walking downstairs I was then greeted with a warm smile by a lovely lady! Great hospitable! Staying in a studio room, essentials tick tick tick! Bath tub, queen size bed! Clean!

A weekend in our city. Reception staff courteous and helpful. Room was clean and quiet. Individual air conditioner plus the ability to open a balcony door for fresh air. Couch plus table and chairs was different. I'd stay here again.

The receptionist (the lady) is amazing! I thought our stove didn't work as well as the phone and she immediately came to the room with me to check. Lucky it was just me, checking the wrong hot plate. The phone turned out ok as well, don't know what happened.... the rooms are all very clean and tidy and our apartment feels very luxurious! Love it!!! The only downside: I didn't sleep well because the hotel heater was on all night, making me sweat.

Excellent service on arrival , departure. Gary your receptionist was absolutely kind, helpful,can't fault, excellent employee (keeper). All the staff are willing to help with directions. Clean rooms too.10/10 10/10 for your kind staff . Thankyou to your reception staff Mantra on Frome. Will definitely stay again.. Tracey

Stayed here 4 nights for a business trip with a work colleague. Upgraded from a two to three bedroom apartment upon check-in which was appreciated. Apartments are a large size but very comfortable. Location is excellent. However, I was kept up most of the night being bitten by mosquitoes. I would have had about 30 bites on my by the time the sun came up - rather inconvenient and slightly distressing. Checking other reviews in the past tells me I'm not the only one who has experienced this issue Informed reception who said they would look into the problem during the day. To be fair, they were much less of a problem afterwards but still a couple of bites received. I also have to give credit to Stephanie on the front desk for her sympathy, care and how she handled the situation. It was appreciated. Shower water pressure was ok, but not great, and air con worked well in the living areas but not great in the bedrooms. It's easy to get pretty much anywhere in town from here, but it will be a lot better when the roadworks out the front are finished - not the hotel's fault, but still slightly inconvenient. Finally, being charged huge amounts for Internet unless you sign up to their guest program is really a thing of the past and shouldn't be an issue in 2017! The staff were lovely, the room was nice enough, however because of the issues I mentioned I don't think I would stay again.

Lovely and clean with great staff. The room was spotless and comfortable but did have a lot of street noise (even on fifth floor), exhaust fan stays on permanently and the shower was terrible. Understand water saving and all that, but the trickle here was a bit hard to handle.

Staff were nice but the room was awful. I was under the shower for 5 mins and parts of me was still dry!!!. The exhaust fan in the bathroom which you can't turn off, meant my nights sleep was not a pleasant one. The room was old and the cups were dirty. Not a good look for what I thought was a premium brand. The hallway lights were so bright they shone through into the room when you're trying to sleep. I was in room 602b if anyone cares

Very clean and tidy rooms, well insulated from the outside noise. Friendly staff, and helpful with directions. To be noted that if your breakfast is included, you'll have to walk one block down (5min) to get to their sister hotel where it is served.
