Apartment was quite spacious but bathroom was cramped, should have got the room with en suite. Good size kitchen & fridge. Couldn't get Internet on one device. If you want balcony views id say you would want to be on level 5 or higher and front doors close with a bang but all in all it was good value for the price we paid.

Best service apartment stay, central location. What makes the difference is the staff … exceptional from a very late night/early morning check in who was very patient. Special mention to Michelle at front desk - with a big smile, efficient and willingness to go the extra mile

Reasonable price for 2 bedroom and 2 toilets with fully equipped kitchen. Washing machine and dryer was great too. Clean and spacious rooms with bath tub. My kids loved it. However the bath room fittings are old. But other than that it was alright. Great for families.

Stayed during a business trip and found it comfortable for what I needed. The apartment was perfect for work travel - I appreciated having the extra space and a fully equipped kitchen so I could cook my own meals instead of relying on takeout every night. The property is showing its age and could use a refresh, but everything worked fine and I slept well. My main frustration was the housekeeping policy - no daily service for stays under 5 nights, which meant trips to reception whenever I needed tea supplies, or bin liners, bin emptied etc. For a 4-star property, that feels a bit inconvenient. Overall, it did the job for this trip, but I would choose somewhere else next time in favour of having my room cleaned daily. The WiFi was unreliable throughout my whole stay. That said, the staff were friendly and helpful whenever I needed assistance.

Room needs to be checked when being cleaned. No conditioner even when the room was serviced. No hand towel, and no remote for the TV. These things should be on a check list when preparing the room. It was unfortunate there was no hot water in the bathroom or kitchen sinks. I was travelling on my own and didn't see the need to use the dishwasher however not having hot water in the kitchen made this a bit difficult. Could have some better equipment in the kitchen such as two different sized sauspans. I did make a request and staff were very helpful. It would be worth checking that all lamps work from time to time as there was a blown bulb. Not great equipment for cooking a meal as in saucepans. The main bedroom only has side lamps and not an overhead light. This made it difficult to see in the room. Would be great to have a main light on the ceiling in the bedroom. Overall, I was satisfied with my stay, but with a few little adjustments it would just be a little nicer for the next person. Getting a new remote control for the room took a lot of time to organise and I was put on hold through the hotel company. It was also difficult contacting the hotel prior to my visit having to go through a call centre. I would much prefer talking directly to the hotel and this could influence future stays. I am not keen on talking to major hotel large corporation companies. The personal touch is much preferred. Thank you

Extremely disappointed with our stay at Mantra on Hay Perth, booked under the Accor Group as ALL Gold Members. We chose this hotel because it was listed as a 4-star property with on-site parking — a key factor as we had rented a car. We paid the additional AUD$30 for parking, only to return at night and find no parking spaces available, not just for us but for several other guests. It’s unacceptable that paying guests are left to search for street parking despite prior arrangements. The room itself was in poor condition. There were spiderwebs behind the door, visible stains on the walls, and broken flush buttons pushed into the wall. The beds were unstable, the sockets were placed in random, impractical spots, and the shower — which is a bathtub with a wall-mounted head — was already wet upon our arrival, indicating that the room hadn’t been properly cleaned or inspected. This raised immediate hygiene concerns and made us feel uncomfortable. What’s worse is that I came across an earlier review describing the exact same issues in another room, yet clearly, no action has been taken. It’s deeply disappointing that Accor allows guests to continue having these negative experiences without any sign of improvement. The hotel also looks nothing like the photos listed on the Accor website. The reality is far from what’s advertised — the building and interiors feel more like a shabby motel than a 4-star hotel, let alone one under the Accor brand. This experience has shaken our trust in Accor. I won’t be returning, and I would urge the Accor team to seriously re-evaluate whether this property still meets the standards of your network — or deserves to remain a part of it.

The Good: I checked in late on Sunday, 3rd August, and the staff were polite and accommodating. The two-bedroom, one-bath unit was spacious, and the kitchenette, washer, and dryer made my stay convenient and comfortable. The location was great, right in the heart of the city. The Bad: Unfortunately, the property is quite outdated and not very clean. Upon check-in, the air conditioners in both bedrooms weren’t working. On Monday night, I was asked to reset the remote control, but the issue wasn’t resolved. I reported the problem to the front desk on Tuesday morning, 5th August, but no one came to fix it all day. I eventually gave up trying to reach the front desk and relied on the living room air conditioner to cool the entire apartment. By Thursday night, that air conditioner also stopped working. The night desk manager came to check, but couldn’t resolve the issue, and I was disappointed to learn that there was no engineer on duty, so I had to wait until the morning. I had to open the balcony door for ventilation, but the unpleasant outside odor started to seep in. The front desk staff promised that a supervisor would speak to me in the morning, but no one showed up. I checked out on Friday morning, 8th August, feeling very disappointed. Accor, you can definitely do better than this! Room 302.

Reception staff were really great and it was the perfect location for us. We have stayed in better rooms for the price but it was satisfactory for our one night stay. Good Chinese restaurant downstairs too.
