I only stayed for a night but I personally felt that it’s a comfortable stay even for longer duration. Been around the world quite a bit and I always prefer service apartment style accommodation. Big room, clean bed, useful kitchenette, spacious bathroom, with everything you ever needed. Front desk service is great too! Conveniently located near train station, accessible from airport. Lots of food options nearby and shopping area. No faults with check-in and check-out, smooth process. Recommended.

This is a lovely hotel! It's in a bit of an odd building and I feel like it doesn't get the love it deserves. The rooms are older but spacious and clean and the bed is comfortable. The kitchenette is great to have and the hotel itself is central to everything, the train station is only a few hundred metres away and goes straight to the airport. It would be nice if the bra shop out front was a cafe or something, to draw people in, we ended up walking right by the entrance!

Great location across from Raine Square for essentials. Bed was comfortable with range of pillows. Kitchenette was handy. Bathroom a little dated but fully functional and roomy. Only thing the curtains don’t fully stop light getting in so room does get light in the morning.

Great location. Less than 5mins walk from Perth Underground. Plenty of F&B options in the vicinity. However, no onsite carpark. Guests are advised to park at Raine Square Wilson carpark. The hotel is in the process of upgrading the air-conditioning system in the room (replacing it with quieter unit).

I stayed at Oaks for 3 weeks and felt right at home. The staff were always accommodating, friendly, and quick to help. Special thanks to Ms. Bevs, Ms. Melanie, Ms. Komal, Ms. Mary, Ms. Jasmin, and Ms. Jean for making my stay extra special. The room was clean, complete with amenities, and check-in and check-out were hassle-free. Overall, a very satisfying and memorable stay!

Was originally assigned to an older room on 5th floor with a very loud A/C and couldn’t sleep. Reported to the front desk the next day and they moved us to a newer room on 2nd floor after checking the issue. Staff friendly and helpful but it is missing some of the amenities expected of a hotel eg daily housekeeping, room slippers. overall room is spacious and location convenient for those taking public transportation except there’s no sheltered driveway so if it rains can’t cab back to avoid getting wet. coles nearby.

Perfect location close to everything in the city center and just a 5-minute walk to Perth central station. Lovely staff and good size room with great facilities and comfy bed. Only slight negative was the Foxtel sports channels were out of action during my stay.

The room was clean and fresh with a comfortable bed. Basic kitchen facilities covered all my needs.Check in was easy and lifts were promptly available.Location was very central with the train station a 5-minute walk away.I used the CPP car park at His Majesty's about 1 minute walk along Murray St. Cost was $39 for a 2-night stay without leaving. It was very busy and I got a space at level 8.I would go back there.

Yelp
Perth CBD Stay This is our second stay at this hotel - we stayed here on our previous visit to Perth in August 2016 and liked it so much that we chose it for our stay in May 2021. We booked a Queen Studio for our 5-night stay in Perth and the room suited us perfectly. The studio was a little old and tired, and the air conditioner in our room was ill positioned and noisy, but it was well designed and had a well-equipped kitchen, flat screen TV, good bathroom and a comfortable bed. There were laundry facilities - free of charge on Level 5 which was really helpful as we have been travelling for a while. It's in an excellent location - just a couple of minutes' walk to the Murray Street Mall and opposite a Red CAT (free bus service). Although there was no on-site parking, there is parking at Raine Square - the shopping centre right across the road from the hotel. As always with stays at apartment hotels, we were unsure whether our room would be serviced so we clarified this with reception when we checked in. We were told that our room would be serviced, and our bedsheets would be changed after the third night. However when we returned to our room after our day out (4th night), we discovered that our room had not been serviced at all! We discussed this with reception who informed us that housekeeping had left for the day. They gave us clean towels and teabags and assured us that our room would be serviced the next day. Imagine our surprise when we returned to our room to find it had once again not been serviced! The staff at reception were super apologetic - they offered us complimentary drinks (which we declined) and provided us with more teabags and linen. We were contacted by the Front Office Manager after our departure. After we made it clear that we would not be returning to Perth in the near future, she very reluctantly offered us a refund of $40 (being a room service charge of $20 per day). We felt that this was a surprisingly small amount to recompense us for the extraordinarily poor service from a hotel of this calibre! August 2016 We really enjoyed our stay at the Mantra on Murray. Our room was spacious and well appointed and the staff were helpful and friendly. The room configuration could probably be improved upon - the lighting was inadequate and the air conditioning unit was a bit noisy and located right next to the bed. Overall we were really happy with our room and the hotel location right in the centre of the CBD!!

Yelp
I have stayed at this hotel numerous times. Centrally located in Perth CBD. Close to shopping centres, clubs&pubs, numerous food options and transport options. I have stayed in a few different rooms types & they are always clean and well presented. The hotel is Reasonably priced for Perth City Hotels, especially if you book early or through a hotel booking website. The only negative would be that there is no carparking on site. Parking is available at the Raine Square building across the road.

Yelp
Expensive for the quality, but you're paying for location here and it's worth it. All of the CBD is within walking distance to here. Rooms were very clean and plain. Mini kitchenette was a plus. Service was fantastic- the staff provided lots of recommendations that all panned out well. Wifi is outrageously priced as you're looking at $100 AUD for 14 GB; however it did work flawlessly. Blackout curtains weren't large enough so with a room facing east... I had some early mornings.

Yelp
Centrally located in Perth's CBD on one of the main strips with a selection of nightlife at your doorsteps - check out Cheeky Sparrow literally around the corner for some cocktails and laid back chilling. The studio apartment is sufficient with kitchenette basics. Large King size bed, flat screen and bathtub and shower. Aesthetic wise it's decent but no character but what does it matter when the real attraction is outside the apartment. There's a restaurant I never made any use of as there are a plethora of foodie places to sink your teeth into but if you're wanting convenience it's there. If you prefer to do your own cooking there's a Coles across the road. Overall this is an excellent choice for location providing a convenient base to explore Perth CBD

Yelp
We have stayed here many times... it is extremely convenient location ... near shops and pubs and an easy crawl into Northbridge. .. The rooms are very large and clean and overall very pleasant!! Now, after reading my review the question would be... why only 2 star????? The basics of hotel bookings and customer service is if a customer enquiries into some specifics of there booking make sure that your responses is correct.... In this day and age of modern technology where all emails and correspondence is at our finger tips and able to be checked... to tell us in your restaurant that our rate was room only and then check with your Reception... and they said the same... but all the booking paperwork has breakfast.... is disgraceful!!!!! Such a small thing is what gets people!!!!!!

Yelp
I want to delete this review but Yelp won't let me. It's a good hotel. Central location is great. Possibly the most central you can stay. The coffee is excellent, there are great cafes in Wolfs Lane (the alleyway behind the hotel) which aren't as good as the coffee downstairs. Meals are overpriced, especially breakfast, but that's normal for hotels. The wifi isn't great- welcome to Australia- but the service otherwise is good. Staff are mostly friendly. Yelp seriously won't let me delete this review though which is messed up.

Yelp
A boutique hotel smack in the centre of town. True value for Money. Although rooms are small they are comfortable and well set out. A fabulous hotel if you are having a night on the town and do not want to drive home. Breakfast was nothing special but adequate. I would recommend this hotel to any one on a budget. You may be pleasantly surprised!

Yelp
The rooms are laid out well, but, the service is horrible. It took 2 days and many stops to the front desk to have a broken bed replaced. Wi-Fi that was supposed to be included was given only after begging for it and the service was terribly slow even then. Housekeeping seems not to be able to make up your room if you leave it after 10AM, even after talking to the front desk. The room key cards are hit or miss to use. Sparks flew out of the socket each time I plugged anything in. Special requests like, "May I please have a hanger for my clothes", or "May I please have a washcloth", seem to be ignored routinely and at 4:30AM the amount of hallway noise was enough to keep me up so I couldn't get back to sleep. Unfortunately it's in a good location to get to where I need to be for work, but, the ridiculous low level of the service along with the disrepair of the hotel in general are a bit too much to put up with and keep any sort of sanity. Do yourself a favor and make use of the free busses throughout the city if you need to come to this area and save some money by staying at a decent hotel for much less elsewhere.
