Travelling in a party of 3 adults and a 12 week old baby. Our flight landed at 930 am, and we arrived at the hotel very early to request luggage storage until check in time. How delighted were we when we were told the room had been cleaned, and we could access it immediately. Clearly staff are accommodating and helpful. We had a cot brought to the room for the baby, and a lovely pack of baby toiletries were provided too. It was an extraordinarily spacious two bedroom apartment that had everything - full kitchen, laundry, spacious living areas. The stairs to the upper bedroom had a door to close them off and limit access, making it safer for young children, and providing more privacy to anyone using the upstairs suite. Great location for Salamanca markets and waterfront. We would book this hotel if planning another stay in Hobart, and wouldn’t bother looking for other deals. We would stay here again without hesitation and highly recommend this hotel.

The hotel is located right beside St David Park. Make sure you stay in Hobart over a Saturday to catch the Salamanca Market which takes place only on Saturdays from 0830 to 1500. ||We rented a car and parked at the private parking lot at the hotel’s basement. The parking charge is $20 per day but you can sign up as an Accor member to enjoy a discounted rate of $15 per day. Parking is very limited in the vicinity.||The hotel room is spacious, where the bedroom and the living room are connected via a little pantry. There is a mini fridge and washing machine for our usage. To top it up with a dryer is a bonus as we tend to wash our laundry every 1-2 days. There are two TVs in the room but they are not smart TVs and you can view only local stations.||All in all, a pleasant stay over 4 days.

Complementary drinks were non alcoholic apple cider, no breakfast as part of my Diamond membership and for some reason that was never explained when I booked or on departure, this stay was ineligible for rewards points or status points. If I was made aware of all of these things I would have booked at The Ibis up the street which would have provided everything we needed and expect as a diamond member. Will never stay at this hotel again or recommend it

Only a one night stay, in room 211 which is on the side facing the park opposite. Although it was booked as a studio (Accor member), it had a separate bedroom area and very high ceilings which gave a wonderful sense of space in a heritage building. The lounge/dining area was large, airy and looked out over the park. The Salamanca markets were literally across the road and the wharf area and Battery Point a short stroll away. There is limited parking under the building at a fee.|The reception staff, Anna, was delightful and very helpful. Thanks!|Although there's no onsite restaurant, there are plenty of dining options nearby.|We would happily stay there again.

We stayed on two separate occasions. The staff were very kind and allowed my partner to leave her bags at the hotel because she arrived early. They also allowed us to check in a little early on a second stay - great after a long drive. Recommend staying on Davey St side of hotel. Overall, great location and friendly and helpful staff. Recommend staying here.

I had a great stay at the Mantra One Sandy Bay Road. I booked an executive apartment and I was surprised how big and spacious the apartment was. The views of the St Davids park with the waterfront at the back was a perfect way to begin our holiday. The apartment was very clean and well appointed and needed everything we needed like internal laundry, fully contained kitchenette facilities, foxtel channels and high speed wifi for being Accor Members. The car park is limited but booked in advance to secure a space which make the holiday so convenient. The location of this hotel is perfect as it's just 2 mins walk to salamanca market and a short stroll to Battery Point and CBD.||I would highly recommend this hotel if you prefer larger self contained rooms and convenient location to the CBD and ofcourse the amazing and friendly staff who make your stay comfortable 😀

Terrible check-in process. Noisy location on main road. Only 13 carparks for the whole place. Reception closes at 6pm and the after hours check-in phone contact is in Queensland. They demanded a credit card over the phone (insecure) despite already having my card on file and "express check-in" organised via the travel agent.
