Charming Stay Just North of Brisbane CBD Really enjoyed my time at this great little hotel just north of the Brisbane CBD. The location is super convenient, with Central Station nearby and most key areas easily walkable. The staff were a standout—friendly, welcoming, and genuinely helpful throughout my stay. I especially loved the cute little bar onsite, which was perfect for a morning coffee or a relaxed drink in the evening. A bonus for Accor status members is the complimentary wine selection, which is a really nice touch. As others have mentioned, the rooms can feel a little musty, which could definitely be improved. That said, there’s a large balcony door that helps air things out, and the bed was very comfortable, making for a good night’s sleep. Overall, a pleasant and well-located hotel with lots of potential and lovely staff. Would happily stay again.

A small hotel, tucked away in a quiet part of the city just outside the main CBD area, within walking distance of Central Station. Most of the rooms are a compact size, but are well decorated and pleasant to stay in. It appears that all rooms have a small balcony and sliding door for fresh air. There is a pleasant café/bar on the ground floor, serving a limited but sufficient breakfast. There are also a couple of larger, standard size rooms on each floor, I would recommend these if you plan to stay for more than a couple of days. Overall a pleasant and good value choice if you do not need to be in the main CBD area. I would not hesitate to book this hotel again if it is available at a competitive price.

I had the most wonderful birthday celebration at Mantra Terrace! From the moment I arrived, the team made me feel so special and truly went above and beyond to make my day memorable. A huge thank you to Zac and the entire team for their warm hospitality, professionalism, and genuine kindness. Every detail—from the service to the little birthday surprise—was thoughtful and beautifully done. The atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming, and everything felt effortless yet perfectly organized.

Had a late arrival at the hotel due to a delayed flight. Instructions on how to access door keys upon arrival were much appreciated. Modern rooms, good wifi, breakfast box in the morning all very enjoyable. Short walk to Brisbane CBD train & shops. Friendly staff inc Pearl made the short stay very enjoyable. Will definately stay again.

This is possibly one of the worst hotel stays I’ve ever experienced. I highly recommend you find another hotel because: Hotel room smell: the first two rooms I was allocated smelled like a urine. The third one was stale making the air feel thick, like you are breathing dampness Dirty bathrooms: the bathroom in the second room made me gag when I looked at it. The bathroom in the room I stayed wasn’t much better. The black mould on the vanity basin indicated that all the cleaners do is a basic wipe down. On top of that there was water under the bin from where the water leaks out of the shower. Clearly the cleaners haven’t bothered to lift the bin to clean under it. Flashing alarm lights: the lights in the alarm flashed all night TV: had the most random stations for example a station dedicated to mr bean. Sure there was all the apps however I wasn’t signing into a personal account on a publicly shared device. Room type: I was first put on an accessible room even though I didn’t request or more importantly I didn’t need it. The towels smelled like cooked meat I paid $150.88 for a hotel room. It wasn’t worth it. I’ve stayed in cleaner backpackers.

Just to start off with - the service and staff of the hotel were excellent and very helpful. The one star is for the actual facility itself. The building and rooms in general are awful. Extremely stuffy, we tried two different rooms which both smelled damp. The air conditioner smelled like sweat. The drains also smelled bad, all the shower seals were moldy and black. I'd be happy paying ~50 dollars a night but this is by no means a premium establishment.

We were unable to experience the hotel’s facilities or service due to a significant pricing issue. I booked a 3-day stay through Booking.com for $400, but upon check-in, the hotel demanded $800, citing higher weekend rates. Despite showing proof of my booking, the staff couldn’t explain the discrepancy and insisted on the increased rate. They were polite but unable to resolve the issue or guarantee I wouldn’t be charged the extra $400 if I paid through Booking.com. I requested to speak with the manager, but was told it would take 45 minutes to an hour. The staff suggested staying one night and finding another hotel the next day, which wasn’t feasible due to our early commitments. They also claimed other accommodations would have similar pricing, which I am well aware that’s why I always booked ahead of time. Sudden changes on the booking should be communicated in advance not on the day. Booking in advance should ensure clear communication about pricing changes, and this last-minute surprise was unacceptable. So much hassle on finding a hotel closed to where we need to go, especially its a weekend. Disappointing experience overall.

The level smelled like mould immediately on stepping out of the lift and was stronger when walking into the room on arrival. Our room was not very clean with specks of lint and crumbs of something over the carpet. The bathroom was mouldy, black grime around the base of the tap that can be wiped off with a cloth. Mattress was comfy. Overall the standard of cleanliness was low and felt like we were staying on a backpackers.
