Did not come across as a 4-star hotel. Price was too high per night given that it was more of a 3-star, not worth it. There was one morning with limited service for breakfast and reception - only one poor soul multi-tasking. Missed out on house-keeping. Rooms were clean, no issues. Staff were friendly, whenever they were there. Breakfast options were limited. But that would be OK if it was a 3-star. And no gym.

I was travelling solo and could not have been happier with my stay. First impression was room was clean and fairly freshly renovated and I had a small Juliette balcony. The room was set up perfectly with everything I needed. Bed was comfy and room was quiet. The staff I encountered were all delightful Note the location is really great and within close walking distance to the city and transport.

We stayed here for a girls weekend and the service from one particular person was terrible. Told me I hadn’t paid on arrival when we had paid in full prior to arrival. Started serving other customers before she had gone to get our luggage so we could go to our rooms. The rooms are tiny and no room to unpack luggage. There is nowhere to put your luggage so we were tripping over our cases the entire time we were there. They provided 2 water glasses so we had to drink wine from water glasses. When they turned our room over they didn’t give us fresh glasses. On check out morning we were downstairs at 7.00am and the reception area wasn’t open. None of the staff seemed to be able to offer advice on directions or things to do. The location was ok was only a short walk to queen street mall but seemed to be a bit of a seedy part of town. Wouldn’t recommend staying here unless it’s close to something you particularly need.

The level smelled like mould immediately on stepping out of the lift and was stronger when walking into the room on arrival. Our room was not very clean with specks of lint and crumbs of something over the carpet. The bathroom was mouldy, black grime around the base of the tap that can be wiped off with a cloth. Mattress was comfy. Overall the standard of cleanliness was low and felt like we were staying on a backpackers.

Great location. Reception staff are super friendly & informative. Cafe looks metropolitan (didn't dine there). Rooms are a tad small but for the price it's definitely worth it. The bed is one of the most comfortable hotel beds I've slept in (I'm picky!) Modern, chic & clean. Excellent location. I'll stay here again when I'm back in Brisbane. Cons: no parking, paid parking across the road only but not discounted for staying here like other hotels.

Loved Our Stay at Mantra Terrace! I had such a great experience staying at Mantra Terrace. The location is awesome, it's close to the city, so it was super easy to get around and explore. The staff were genuinely friendly and always smiling, which made the stay feel extra welcoming. You can tell they care about the guests. My room was clean, modern, and comfortable, exactly what you want after a long day out. Everything just felt easy and relaxed, which made our time there even better. If you're looking for a convenient spot with great service and comfortable rooms, definitely check out Mantra Terrace. I’ll be back!

I am a frequent customer of Mantra / All Accor hotels. This is because I have always had an excellent experience at any location I have ever stayed at (Magnetic Island, Palm Cove, Port Douglas, South Bank).||||When I was looking to book accommodation for a 7 night trip to Brisbane, I prioritised picking a Mantra hotel as I had excellent stays in the past and held the brand in high regard. I booked Mantra Terrace Hotel despite other hotels being cheaper, having better locations, and having higher reviews than Mantra Terrace Brisbane.||||My stay at Mantra Terrace Brisbane was totally disappointing and I am sad to say that I will now think twice before booking another stay at a Mantra location.||||I booked 7 nights stay in a Hotel Deluxe room. I paid extra for breakfast included on this room. When I checked in, I paid in full upon my arrival. I was asked whether I was okay with the price and then tapped my card. It was only after I had paid in full that I was notified - not by the hotel receptionist, but by the worker at the cafe - that the “breakfast included” was actually just coffee and anything in the glass cabinet.||||Why was this not advertised online? Why was this not communicated to me before I made payment? How does this possibly meet “breakfast included”? No reasonable person would interpret “breakfast included” as a coffee and stale sandwich wrapped in plastic… The price was outrageous in comparison to what was provided. I have lodged a complaint with ACCC for this product.||||It’s apparent that the cafe normally would provide a kitchen-made breakfast, but the kitchen is currently out of order. It appears from reviews online for the hotel that this has been an issue for some time.||||Moving on from the breakfast issue, the room I was given was # 305. Immediately when I entered the room, I noticed that the shower/bathroom had a distinct damp and musty smell. I then realised that the cause of this was black mould which was everywhere in the shower.||||A few days into my stay, I became unwell which I believe was caused by the black mould in the shower. After the 3rd night of my stay, I communicated this to reception and asked whether I could be put in another room. I was told that there were no available rooms (which was interesting, as I had noticed several empty rooms being cleaned on my floor alone that morning) but that they would ask housekeeping to clean the shower. I returned to the room after housekeeping and it seemed that they had used some cleaning spray in the shower, but the mould was quite clearly untouched. The smell was only temporarily masked by the cleaning products and returned the next day. I felt like throwing up each time I had to shower during my stay.||||Some other issues with the room included stains on the carpet and curtains, blood stains on the duvet, and a total lack of soundproofing in the room.||||Even though my room was not positioned nearby to the elevators, I could hear the “ding” of the elevator each time it was used. I could hear conversations by people in other rooms on my floor, toilets flushing, street noise… I have never experienced this before. Even with the air-conditioner set to a high fan speed and the bathroom ventilator on to produce some white noise, nothing could hide the noises outside my hotel room effectively.||||All in all, my stay was spent going elsewhere for breakfast despite paying for breakfast with the room, feeling unwell from the mould in the shower, and having disrupted sleep all night due to the poorly constructed room.||||I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. This location tarnishes the Mantra brand and reputation.||||When I contacted Accor to raise my concerns, they advised that Mantra Terrace Brisbane “no longer managed by Accor Reservations”. This seems contrary to their website, the Accor postered plastered all over the hotel, and their contact details, but sure…||||Do yourself a favour and avoid this hotel.

The location from Brisbane central isn’t too bad.. be prepared for uphill walking.. the rooms are very small and “just” ok for one person but don’t try a couple here.. the bathroom was disgusting.. mouldy in every crevice, the shower head couldn’t be moved and the shower pressure was awful.. its was on an angle and not all holes had water coming out of them.. it takes ages to rinse your hair.. and the water runs hot and cold. Somehow I missed the room makeup everyday except for one day.. very strange as I was out every day.. and didn’t put a sign out.. the biggest issue was the filthy shower though.. mouldy and really not properly functional. Don’t stay here. There’s better accommodation. Rooms are very loud with downstairs driveway noises and elevator noise.
