Best cafes and places to have coffee in Hanoi - SilverKris
"Housed in a white 1920s French villa with a shady courtyard garden, this quiet retreat from the Old Quarter blends café culture with the arts: it offers organic coffee sourced from Vietnam’s Central Highlands, curated art exhibitions and an arts shop selling original works at accessible prices, making it a cultured respite from the bustle." - SilverKris

This review will focus only on the space and its art as I’ve had no opportunity yet to sample their food and drinks, though they look beautiful...consistent with the space itself. I was immediately taken by the beautiful use of interior space and by the quality and layout of the hangings.
As I examined the work of the various artists I was also drawn in by the quality and variety of work shown. I’m sure I’ll be back many times to view. Meanwhile, the seating is as comfortable as any I’ve seen and appears very conducive to working or relaxing, either one. This is a place well worth visiting.

Real pretty space among greenery in a small back street, away from traffic, a calm oase in the city. Friendly people, they also have a cafe. The art is not of European standards, if you were wondering, but still interesting to see.
Highly recommended!

The sophisticated and relaxing space, isolated from the hustle and bustle of the town, is the perfect place to spend time with a high sense of awareness while leisurely viewing the works of art.

Well I do not speak Vietnamese so that made the play a little long. I could understand the major plot but some dialogue became a little boring... The atmosphere and staff was excellent. Actors were young and enthusiastic.
So be aware no English and decide if you want to go and support "manzi"

There was no exhibit when we went unfortunately, but they have a spacious two-storey cafe with delicious drinks.
The second floor does have art by local artists that can be admired and is for sale. Lots of room to sit and take your time drinking your coffee or to do work.
We sat on a small balcony on the side of the building which was pretty and isolated from the people inside the cafe.

Lovely space featuring art from local artists from around Vietnam. Mostly paintings and illustrations. It is great that they are available for purchase.
