We visited this Chinese restaurant shortly before closing time and were pleasantly surprised to find it packed with Italian locals — a great sign that the food was going to be delicious! The decor instantly transported us to the streets of China — such a cool and authentic vibe! Everything we ordered was absolutely yummy! The waitress, who spoke a little English, was kind and helpful in guiding us through the menu. Highly recommend: • The shrimp rice with sauce 🥹👌🏻👌🏻 • The spicy ramen with beef and tofu 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻 I would definitely visit again!

Small hole in the wall kinda eatery but opens up as you enter the restaurant. Looks rustic and cosy. Like any Chinese restaurant, this place has a vast menu. We ate the vegetarian options recommended by the owner and we had nothing to complain about. Absolutely authentic and delicious Chinese grub.

I've been wanting to try this place for some time now, and i finally went. They serve great authentic Chinese food. The interior had some Chinese vibes. It was cosy and comfortable. The food arrived pretty fast, given that the place was packed with people. Prices are reasonable.

Look for Chinese food in Milano? Maoji is top of my list. For my two weeks stay in Milan. I went to Maoji 4 times for dinner! Good vibe ! Recommend!

Came here with loads of good expectations but realized the food is not that good. The place is really crowded and stools are uncomfortable but the service was fast, the only thing is that the food was mostly tasteless or super spicy, nothing really good in-between to enjoy and taste the different ingredients.

Finally, after many years of trying to get in Maoji, I was able to try their delicious Chinese cuisine yesterday for dinner. The restaurant interior design is something I really loved, haven’t been to China yet, but once you enter Maoji it feels like you’re already there. As a lover of Asian food and in particular spicy 🌶️ dishes, I ordered as much spicy food as I could fit in my belly and it was an absolute treat. I had a bowl of noodles, baoji and some beef skewers. Everything was in abundance and so yummy. Service was quick and price reasonable. Definitely a place I would recommend if you love Chinese cuisine.

点心 鼠 Dim sum Rat thoughts: Wonderful, crazy fun 湖南 Hunan street food place with hip interior and great atmosphere. Some Sichuan 四川 dish as well. Very spicy!, in the 湖南 Hunan way. A jem to find in Milano! Standouts: Lotus root in chili oil Fried eggplant/Aubergine Not so good: Nothing so far Service: Excellent. The big cans of beer they hand out are very amusing

Yelp
I've been there with 4 friends. All satisfied. Last month we tried 2 times to book a seat on weekend, but both times the restaurant was already full. Last Saturday, Finally, we could manage to book a table. The restaurant inside is designed to look like an old style street of a chinese town, and you may feel to sit on a stool and eat typical food in the middle of a chinese food market. I had Hunan Tofu with rice and vegetarian and meat steam dumplings, and the taste was great, original chinese. My friends had dan dan noodles, very spicy but also very very good, and vegetarian soup noodles. As drink, 66cl Tsingtao beer (not expensive at all) and thailandese beer (which I forgot the name). In total we spent 16€ each, fair price.
