Very nice Chinese bookstore. The books are all in Chinese so I'm afraid I was not in the target demographic 😎 but the store was lovely. They also stock calligraphy supplies, teas and beautiful tea sets, and some food items. I bought some organic ginseng tea I'm looking forward to brewing when I get home.

This is a gift shop as well as a bookstore but, unlike most Chinatown (here and NY) gift shops it is not crammed with items from floor to ceiling. It has a curated selection of authentic Chinese items that are tastefully displayed. I asked the owner why some shelves are empty and she explained that she is waiting for a shipment of new items from Taiwan, so she would rather forego sales of inferior goods in the mean time so she can have the space available for her personally selected items when they arrive. In addition to some English language reading materials I t is certainly a treat for any people who read Chinese, with magazines and books in Chinese, as well as children’s educational materials for any child learning Chinese. It is located in "Chinatown’”, Atlanta’s first Chinese retail development back when the area had no other Asian business. Other Chinese businesses include restaurants, other gift shops, a hair salon, a grocery store and more.

Really lovely place! They have brush calligraphy, stationary, chinese books, a kid’s section, and a lot of cute charms/knick knacks. The owner provides testers for many of the pens/pencils so if you like cute ornaments, books, and stationery, I definitely recommend taking a look :)

This is a beautiful Chinese bookstore. The lady inside was kind and jovial with my questions as I am trying to get back into learning Chinese. She said they had low stock right now so I'll be back soon to check out the new shipments!

We greatly enjoy the calligraphy table, the water brush mats and starter brushes showed me a new way of engaging my child in writing characters. We waste so much practice paper that he will never look at again, a great find! Great selection of books, stationary and Taiwanese gifts.

Sweetest cat-loving owner and little shop for writers, readers, tea sippers, and lovers of found treasures. Leave enough time to shop and then walk just a few steps away to the bird-kissed garden and Asian food court.

An absolutely adorable bookstore! I'm so glad I got a chance to visit. The owner is incredibly welcoming and kind, and the selection of products is actually excellent.

Small book store that has a small selection of Japanese stationery. There are Midori notebooks, Midori planners, Midori fountain pen, Campus binders, TAG fountain pen ink, various pens. A lot of the stuff is at a very good price and cheaper than the online retailers. The owner is really nice and helpful. She also carefully placed all my items in a nice gift bag. It’s only a shame that I don’t know how to read Chinese so I couldn’t buy any books.

Yelp
Locally owned, independent bookstore and stationery store. The stationery here is imported from Japan, and they are high quality Japanese goods. There is a selection of grocery goods that are also imported and books (which I assume are Chinese, but I don't speak/read Chinese so not entirely sure). The owner is incredibly kind, positive, and is so welcoming. She showed my husband and I pictures of her cats and provided all sorts of information on the stationery she carried. I've been here a dozen times or so, and I'm always excited to go back every few weeks to see what else has arrived in the recent shipments. Also, the prices here are SO reasonable. I haven't seen any markups compared to buying these supplies from huge name online retailers, so it's affordable for the quality of products you get; even better is that you get to see it in person before you buy rather than placing online orders and hoping it's a good product when you open the package. Absolutely recommend this place and encourage people to shop local whenever they can.

Yelp
It's a Chinese bookstore that took me to a whole different experience. I didn't realize that my friends and I have spent about an hour browsing around in that store. Take note, it's not a Barnes and Noble's big bookstore, it's like a tiny boutique but with so much character. The owner is so welcoming and we really enjoyed chatting with her. She invited us to try and practice some Chinese Calligraphy with some special brushes. They have American author books transcribed in Chinese, stationary, a VERY NICE SELECTION OF PENS, children's books, Vegan snacks, cafe items like tea, and other gift products. The bookstore is next to like a Chinese/Taiwanese Food Court too! Why not stop by and get some grab after.

Yelp
It was my first time here and it won't be my last! It's such cute chinese bookstore. The owner was so incredibly nice and helpful! I came in looking for gifts for my husband (who likes to journal) and my mother. I found journals from Japan and they have lot of calligraphy and writing pens. They also have tea from Taiwan. In addition, there is a cute kids section with mandarin books and toys. You can find many gifts here for any occasion.

Yelp
Very nice shop keeper. Has fun calligraphy to try out. They have a nice selection of tea, organic Chinese and taiwanese products, Chinese calligraphy, japanese stationary, Chinese books, and kids products. They also serve cafe items like tea and coffee! Will visit again!

Yelp
My last post didn't mention the tea which is excellent. She always has a small but very good selection of hot tea which is great to sit and drink while listening to the relaxing music in the bookstore. Also, the owner and her employee are the nicest ladies around. They really make you feel welcome.

Yelp
If the Michelin guide rated bookstores instead of restaurants, this gem would be one of the places worth making a detour just to visit. Seriously, If I lived in Atlanta, I would probably be here every week. Sadly, Washington DC and probably anywhere else on the east coast doesn't have any bookshop that comes close to this one. Blessed are the people of Atlanta.

Yelp
Such an amazing cute little store! It has a nice collection of high quality stationary goods and calligraphy sets. The owner is super sweet and shown me pictures of her adorable cats. I would love to go here next time to check out for the tea!

Yelp
Such a lovely, peaceful bookstore. Although I couldn't read the language of the books, I enjoyed seeing familiar titles such as The Hungry Little caterpillar. there were so many cute gifts that were fun to shop, a coffee shop and a little spot to sit and end enjoy refreshments. My favorite part of the store was the shop owner who is welcoming and kind. She taught my sons and I little Chinese calligraphy. Even if you don't read Chinese, this shop is a great experience.

Yelp
This place is an Atlanta treasure and I'm kicking myself for not having noticed it earlier. Well I found it and now I am going again and again to practice my Chinese calligraphy on their cool zen table. I bought unique birthday cards for all my besties and many fun post it note packs with cartoon cats too. I didn't buy any tea or jewelry today but definitely making wish lists for future trips.

Yelp
In May, 2020, I heard about this store on GPB in a story about how small businesses are doing during COVID-19. The owner impressed me. I drove two 1/2 hours one way from Dublin, Georgia to Chamblee to meet this incredible businesswoman. It was worth every mile of I-75. The atmosphere is inviting. She has a tea area for take out or to brew at home. The inventory is heaven to a stationery enthusiast like me. The book selection for learning Chinese was awesome. The calligraphy section was instructional. The store gives free lessons in nonpandemic times. Wow! I pray this little gem thrives financially and spiritually. She is so genuine. The owner fed my soul with her kindness. Please support this local business. I will be back. Xie xie.
