"Few places can beat MAP Café for atmosphere. Located in the courtyard of Cuzco ’s Pre-Columbian art museum (itself housed in a colonial mansion), the restaurantfeatures all-glass walls for a privileged view. The fusion menu matches the ambience, including unique takes on local favorites such as adobo cusqueño —the tenderest of slow-cooked porks—as well as signature dishes like chicken breast stuffed with goat cheese and raisins. The desserts are such works of art you’re sure to want a photo before digging in. After six, the prix-fixe menu provides the perfect way to sample different flavors."

We had a set menu which was great food and were well prepared and presented. They are not well prepared for people with food allergies. If you are gluten free beware, they do not know the difference between gluten and dairy.

Our set 5 course dinner menu was diverse and creative. Did not really suit our taste but the execution and ambiance was good.

This is a must visit as they got the most tasty ceviche everrr! The staffs are kind and well-trained, capable of explaining and offering recommendations. We ordered two main dishes: one beef cheek and another duck rice, both are great! I personally think it’s a bit heavy though, and the beef cheek would be better if less salty. But overall, very nice ambiance and just that ceviche alone is well worth the visit. In our case, we had a detailed tour around the museum part then we had lunch here. Highly recommended!

Beautiful setting in the museum. The food was amazing, with the courses being the perfect size. Our server John did a great job recommending food and drinks. Would recommend to anyone. Check out the museum before or after you eat for an extra treat!

This was a Michelin level meal! DELICIOUS and Beautifully presented! Description of the servings explained by John, our server, who let us know the origin & regions of our meal and their connections to the Peru landscape. A WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE! Wine selection was very complementary to the meal. Highly recommend!! Noisy cafe when large tables are seated.

We had an incredible lunch at Map Café! The food was delicious (best we’ve tried in Cusco), the service was fantastic (Pool took amazing care of us) and the setting was lovely. I highly recommend trying this restaurant. Every dish was full of flavours and cooked to perfection, the drinks were mixed perfectly and the presentation just topped it all off. Definitely high-end food.

One of our favorite dinners in Peru. Everything was delicious and the service was fantastic. We loved the mushroom soup and the melon salad. And don’t miss the chocolate dessert with the surprise shot. It’s awesome. The atmosphere is a little dark as it’s inside a mostly closed museum. Would feel a little better with more lighting outside in the courtyard.

Map Cafe situated inside the Museo de Arte Precolombino with modern, all‑glass pavilion. The menu offers blends classic Peruvian dishes with a twist.
