Excellent food and great service. We were recommending come here from our hotel. They called ahead and had a table ready for our party of 11. We had complimentary pisco sour and lemonade for the kids. Our server Vanessa was excellent. Very friendly attentive and made sure we had everything we needed for our meal.

The food was great! We had the Peruvian-style mushroom with rice and the breaded chicken with stir-fried vegetables, and both dishes were very flavorful. However, before we read the menu, our waitress asked us for something to drink. We simply asked for water but were served and charged for "Andean mountain water." If the communication had been clearer, we would have ordered juice instead.

Lynn was amazing. I let him know it was my friend’s birthday and he had the staff celebrate and sing for her. I was a little lotion sick from Machu Picchu and tried the chicken soup and it was delicious. My friend had the trout and alpaca and loved both also. Definitely visit this restaurant!

The food was amazing, especially the Duck with Rice and the Trout with Chili Sauce. Our waiter Andy served us with a warm smile and great hospitality. The live music added an extra lovely touch. Thank you!

In terms of the city, this is a good value restaurant, way better compared to other options. Although the restaurant is a bit overpriced and a bit touristy, food was delicious and cooked well, juices were great too. Good option if you have to eat in Aguas.

Andy was an amazing waiter for his incredible kindness and attentiveness. He made us feel welcome from the very first moment, always checking in to ensure everything was perfect. The food was very good and the atmosphere was pleasant!

I got the duck con arroz and a chicha and passion fruit mojito. The duck was delicious, very tender. I liked the rice that it came with too, and they put a lot of effort into the presentation of the food. Excellent drinks and nice, big portions. The only thing that I would have liked more with the food is a little more veggies, but otherwise it was delicious. Lim was a great waiter too, very attentive, and he made me feel very comfortable, speaking to me both in Spanish and English. Even with a busy evening, he would come to check on me and gave me complimentary papas! Thank you for a great dining experience, Lin.

We had the most wonderful time at Mapacho! The food was truly amazing (and beautiful) and our waiter, Felipe, was a great host. We were able to try many of the typical Peruvians dishes and drinks, after some great recommendations. The atmosphere is lively, and you get a beautiful view of Rio Urubamba. We will definitely visit again! Nosotros tuvimos una linda experiencia - la comida estava buenisima y el servicio excelente, siempre muy attente. Lo recomiendo a todos!
