Had to come back and give a review eventhough it’s been a while since we’ve been there. Ian was exceptionally nice and helpful. I hope he still works there as he is definitely an amazing server. The food and drinks were also very good!

My group and I had a wonderful time and meal at Mapacho, even saying it was our best meal on the trip! Rolando was our server and he was incredible, kind, and attentive! We all had different entrees and beverages but we all agreed our meal was delicious and very much enjoyable! We were seated next to the window by the river and it added to the ambiance. Later a local band came and played traditional Peruvian music which added to the experience! I think I can speak for my whole group that we enjoyed our time and meals here very much! Definitely recommend when in Aguas Calientes! Thanks for the incredible service Rolando! :)

Joseph and Brayan made my experience truly special. The food was absolutely delicious, beautifully prepared, and full of flavor — every bite felt thoughtful and well-balanced. Food was delicious! Our server Roxana was very attentive and suggested us the plates we would enjoy as locals along with something that suited my husband's picky stomach. The view of the river is gorgeous and you get to enjoy the sound, the nature, and at times when the train drives through as well. An amazing experience. Came here for my husband's birthday after descending machu picchu. Perfect and amazing food.

We were lead to Mapacho Craft Beer Restaurant by Roger, our Gate1 guide, who highly recommended eating here. We were not disappointed! The food was delicious. The appearance and presentation were beautiful! Our guide preordered for all of us, so there was no wait at all. Service was excellent. It's located in the heart of Aguas Calientes with the river on one side and the train tracks on the other. Awesome view of the raging river below. Very cool hearing it roaring below. We definitely can recommend eating here.

We researched good restaurants in Machu Picchu for dinner & found ourselves at Mapacho - we were not disappointed. The food was delicious & as I am a vegetarian, I have found it difficult to get good vegetarian food but I had the mushroom skewers which were very tasty. My husband had the breaded chicken with mashed potato & vegetables which he said was very good too. Thank you to Vanessa who helped me choose & who was the loveliest host ☺️

Vanessa was amazing! The food was great. The service professional and friendly. I would highly recommend checking this place out. The Pisco Sours were made perfectly. The steak was cooked to the requested temperature. And the lasagna was some of the nest I've had around the world, much to my extreme surprise! We will be back. Thank you! Muchisimos gracias!

The Food was the best I’ve had in Aguas Calientes! Def recommend going before or after going to Matchu Picchu. The sea food fried rice was amazing and the Passion fruit Pisco Sour. Rumi our waiter was so nice and gave great recommendations and took amazing picture of our group next to the river! 10/10 recommend
