I loved the food and the experience of dining here. The staff were great and helpful. The food was good. The decor and tables were amazing. However, to me, the price was out of my budget. I'm not saying they're expensive (because there were a lot of other customers so I doubt they think this restaurant is expensive), it's just their price point is not what I believe is worth paying again for the food I received. If someone had asked me on a business meeting here, I'd gladly accept. But if I go there with my family and friends on my expense, I'd rather take them somewhere else. But other than that, my dining experience here was fabulous 👌

I had a wonderful lunch with my best friends at Maple Oak! The Maple Butter & Brioche was absolutely delicious, perfectly buttery and sweet. We also tried the Tempeh and Beef Chicken Nachos, which were super flavorful and satisfying. For dessert, we shared the Peach and Berry Cobbler, which was not only delicious but also huge, perfect for our group of 7 to share. For drinks, I had the Dragon Patch and Iced Tea, both of which were refreshing and complemented the meal perfectly. We stayed there for quite a while, from 1:15 PM until 6:00 PM, as one of my friends had just arrived from France and there were 7 of us. We had so much to share, from stories to the delicious food we ordered, which took us quite some time to finish. Surprisingly, the restaurant staff didn’t rush us or ask us to leave. It allowed us to truly enjoy some quality time together. However, we eventually realized it was time to go, as the place got busier as the evening approached. Thank you, Maple Oak ❤️ Overall, it was an amazing experience, and I can’t wait to come back!

I have been frequenting this neighbourhood diner since almost ten years ago, but last night I am reminded of why they still manage to survive despite a heated competition in the Jakarta dining scene. The small, cozy diner usually offers lovely brunch food. But lately they’ve also offered cocktails and pastries. Their selection of teas are inventive and magnificent. The food are all delicious and finger-licking good. Yesterday, we ordered these: - Mushroom Fettuccine: creamy, delicious, texturally contrasted with the chewy mushrooms and covered with a sauce that makes me almost lick the plate. - Crying Tiger Steak with Rice: thick, juicy beef that dances so well with the sweet and sour fish sauce, the fragrant rice, and the herbal greens. - Peach and Berry Cobbler: it tastes like a much needed warm hug beside the fireplace on a wintry day. The vanilla cream and the ice cream modulates the heavenly rich, buttery biscuit. The peach and berries tartness brings everything in the dish into the heights of emotional clarity. I know I will evangelise about this place a lot to everyone. Such a gem in Menteng.

Maple & Oak is such a good spot for brunch. The vibes are cozy, the interior is beautifully done, and the overall atmosphere is just so inviting. They even play great music, which adds to the experience. I really appreciated the little details, like the plates and the thoughtful interior touches. The outdoor roof (I think that’s what it’s called?) with their custom logo and design is such a neat touch. I tried the kombucha and their natural wine—both were amazing! They have a great selection of natural wines, and most of the food here is definitely worth a try. The servers are super kind and helpful, especially when it comes to recommending food and drinks. The coffee is also great! The only thing I didn’t love was the matcha tiramisu. It’s not bad at all, just a little too matcha-forward for me, especially with the heavy dusting on top. I’m sure matcha fans will enjoy it more than I did, though! All in all, it’s a lovely spot, and I’d absolutely come back to explore more of the menu.

Christmas Vibe is strong. Food is amazing. Tried the bone marrow, Maple Brioch and Pistachio Toast. Toilet has a very homely feel too it too. Service is top notch. Servers are attentive and were proactive offering sharing plates even before being asked. Thank you for the great experience!

It was my first time here for brunch. I had an amazing bone marrow dish and a nice smoothie. Unfortunately the tea ( green tea morning spirit ) was bland and could be so much nicer ! Going good guys but please change your tea supplier !

I think you pay for the vibe in this place. Food is just OK (I'll go to that later). There's a jazz live music every Saturday, and the band who performs is really cool. Cafe has that cozy, cool vibe and generally a nice place to hang out. The food though... it's certainly not bad, but not worth the price. Gorgonzola pasta is fine, although couldve used the bittery gorgonzola taste a lil bit better, but too expensive at 170k. The berry crobble you see going viral all over social media I would say is a product of paid post: it was rather unmemorable. Although the stuffiness is good the fla seems to be an instant vanilla fla and the berries a bit too sour. At 125k could've been better. Large portion though, perhaps for three persons. Hummus is good, no complains. Maybe we didn't order the place's specialties? Drinks have some unique flavor (Floral Latte, Chai Latte) at around 40-50k. But it's a bit too watery. The Avocado Chocolate Latte is fine though, no complains, and the chocolate actually tastes good, a little bit buttery.
