We came as a group of 4 adults and 6 kids, and had a fantastic experience at Mapo Korean BBQ! The food was absolutely delicious — fresh, flavorful, and cooked just right. The service was great too — the staff was friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed. The only small thing is that the music was a little too loud at times, but it didn’t take away from the overall great vibe. Highly recommend for anyone looking for quality Korean BBQ!

Nice atmosphere and friendly server. The meats are well seasoned and everything taste good. The only minus point, like every other stores, is that the lettuce portion is kinda small so you have to ask for more a lot, but the servers are very friendly and have no issues bringing you more. They even offer to help grill and cut the meats, which they did very skillfully.

This is my first time visiting this location. It is very convenient to get there, just about 3 to 5 mins out of Christie Subway Station. I ordered Pork Bone Soup 🍲 and Spicy Rice Cake as they are my favorite ones 😋. Not to mention that this restaurant is focusing on Korean BBQ, you can't miss them if you are coming as a group.

I ordered kimchi jjigae — hands down the worst I’ve ever had. I only ate it because I was starving. It’s supposed to be a Korean BBQ restaurant, not some random fusion spot, but nothing tasted right. Panchan was tiny and bland, the jjigae had no flavor. It was freezing today — I asked for tea, they said they didn’t have any. Then I asked for hot water… and they brought me cold water. Come on. Never again.

My experience at Mapo was truly unforgettable, with the best Korean BBQ I've ever had. The cuisine was outstanding, and the service was remarkable. The restaurant's atmosphere was equally impressive, evoking memories of Itaewon. My husband and I treasured every second spent at Mapo. We often reminisce about our exceptional dining experience. Mapo has secured a place on our list of preferred restaurants, and we will certainly return when we next visit Toronto.

I ordered pork brisket, pork belly, and dumplings. Everything tasted great. The server, Daniel, provided excellent service he even helped me grill the pork. The overall atmosphere was really nice, and the music playing in the restaurant was great. On the day I dined in, a group of friends was celebrating a birthday. The staff enthusiastically sang and joined in the celebration, making the atmosphere lively and fun. Overall, it’s a restaurant with a great ambiance and delicious food.
