First time coming here and it was delightful! Bustling with attentive servers everywhere, rustic wood timbered interior. They come around often to change the grill pan so place doesn’t get too smokey and you get a fresh pan to grill on. I also love the thermos filled with ice water that is often refilled as well. Service impeccable, loads of pickled side vegetables and kimchi, refilled when we run out. Ordered the beef combo A, $125 and fed three of us very well! Everything was delicious, marinades perfectly seasoned and the beef very fresh. Next time I’d order a rice or noodle dish to round out the meal and try some of the a-la-cart items. Wish I remembered to take photos beforehand, most of the food was already eaten.

We came as a group of 4 adults and 6 kids, and had a fantastic experience at Mapo Korean BBQ! The food was absolutely delicious — fresh, flavorful, and cooked just right. The service was great too — the staff was friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed. The only small thing is that the music was a little too loud at times, but it didn’t take away from the overall great vibe. Highly recommend for anyone looking for quality Korean BBQ!

Nice atmosphere and friendly server. The meats are well seasoned and everything taste good. The only minus point, like every other stores, is that the lettuce portion is kinda small so you have to ask for more a lot, but the servers are very friendly and have no issues bringing you more. They even offer to help grill and cut the meats, which they did very skillfully.

I celebrated my birthday dinner here with friends and it’s honestly one of the best Korean BBQ experiences you can have in Toronto - Daniel and the staff working were so fantastic! Highly recommend the LA Kalbi (Marinated Short Ribs) and the Honeycomb Pork Belly!

This is my first time visiting this location. It is very convenient to get there, just about 3 to 5 mins out of Christie Subway Station. I ordered Pork Bone Soup 🍲 and Spicy Rice Cake as they are my favorite ones 😋. Not to mention that this restaurant is focusing on Korean BBQ, you can't miss them if you are coming as a group.

Went here for the first time,we’re a group of three and i’d say the portions were decent and we’re still relatively (very) full. But what i loved from the place is the service from the staffs. They take their time explaining the menus for us questions after questions. They were very attentive ,regularly change the metal plates for the BBQ,cutting our meats ,etc. Would come back next time because the service staffs made everything perfect!

Came here on a Sunday night and the atmosphere was great. We wanted something simple and feel-good. This place delivered! The assortment of all the dishes in addition to the very friendly service made for an enjoyable experience.

I ordered kimchi jjigae — hands down the worst I’ve ever had. I only ate it because I was starving. It’s supposed to be a Korean BBQ restaurant, not some random fusion spot, but nothing tasted right. Panchan was tiny and bland, the jjigae had no flavor. It was freezing today — I asked for tea, they said they didn’t have any. Then I asked for hot water… and they brought me cold water. Come on. Never again.
