Service was great. Food was delicious. Negroni was perfect. I see lots of potential for this place. Minus the screaming baby sitting next to us, we had a great meal. Not too expensive either.

Excellent service. Food made from scratch and really home-made with modern style presentation. Of course, I will come back. If you really like cheesecake, you need to try it, you will fall in love 😍

Great atmosphere. Food is nice, menu interesting and different. I went to have mu dinner alone, they invited me to choose a table even if they got busy later, no rush and service was super. The have high and low tables and seat at the bar what brings a great bar vibe to the place. Thanks and congratulations!

We have been to a lot of places in Ibiza. We think and feel that this is the best place to eat. We don'tgo back to the same place twice, except for this one. After 100 times the food here will not get boring. The service, (we were helped by William and the owner), is outstanding. Friendly and happy. We loved the peking duck, the lamb kebab, the salmon in miso, the croquettes and ofcourse the Sangria, best on the Island. Everything we ordered was sublime. It is not a fancy beachclub. It's a small cute place in the centre. For us, this makes it even more lush. Wish we could take this place back home with us. See you next year. We can't wait! ♡♡♡

Nice little place with very reasonable prices. We had two beers and 7 pintxos for 15€ 👍🏼

Yelp
My first dinner location in Ibiza. Originally I wanted to try Can Terra next door but it was so packed so we decided to come here and thank god because the food was amazing!! We ordered palomitas de pollo which came with a delicious aioli on the side and fried grapes - a serious game changer. It balanced out the savory-ness of the dish perfectly. We also got the rollito de primavera and shared a sangria pitcher. We actually left pretty stuffed. They also have pinxtos for €1.50 at the bar, which is an amazing deal. The place itself is a little narrow but the waiters/bartenders were very friendly and attentive.

Yelp
Nice spot we were recommended to try by our hostel receptionist. The wine is cheap and super good. I really enjoyed the pasta and the potato balls we ate (I don't remember what they were called). They had a large variety of tapas as well. The waiters/waitresses were very friendly. Service was very good.

Yelp
Best meal, service and ambiance I've experienced in a very long time!!! I wish this place was near me so I could go all the time! My husband and I were trying to find some good places to dine while we were in Ibiza, but we were there from Sat-Mon. And I don't know if you're familiar with Spain yet, but they pretty much shut everything down on Sundays & Mondays. Monday afternoon, we had just finished climbing the castle and looking out at the views. We walked into town and I remembered seeing the reviews for this gem of a restaurant. We walked in around 3:45pm on a Monday. I was sure they'd either be closed or closing, but to our surprise, they were open and very welcoming! We were the only people in there besides one person in the front on their computer. We sat in the back, outdoor space. It was lovely and peaceful, and we were so tired. The food came out immediately after we ordered and it had a stunning presentation, but the taste was even more stunning! I'm from NYC, we eat out a lot and we know good food. We're picky, new restaurants open and close every day in NYC. Mar a Vila should be in NYC!! Or at least they should open a location there or in Brooklyn. They definitely need to open more locations somewhere. This food is too good to be kept on such a tiny island, away from so many people! Well, at the end of our meal, Patricia, cleared our plates and then just let us sit. She never made us feel like we needed to leave. It was very nice and a great way to revive after a long, adventurous day. Patricia & Pablo, you have an amazing restaurant! I hope I can come back to Ibiza and experience it more.

Yelp
The husband is in the kitchen, his wife in the dining room...what a joy, kindness, incredible and inventive dishes. The spilled langoustine salad from its iron pot, the black pudding candies in their wooden boxes, the crispy pig, the revisited tapas that change from the eternal bread, ham, cheese... Unfortunately the rumor is that they will leave IBIZA for the continent, what a loss, you will be missed......

Yelp
The pinchos are fantastic, the service is super nice, especially the girl behind the bar. The price is absolutely OK, the Cava fresh, ice-cold and tasty. I'll come back for more, thank you!

Yelp
Excellent value for money, friendly place. I agree with the other 5 star reviews on here....there are so many stupidly expensive eateries in Ibiza, this one is well worth a visit. White wine going at 2.80 Euros a glass...I couldn't believe it, having forked out quite a lot more elsewhere. And it isn't tapas in the sense one would be accustomed to in London, they are far more intricate and interesting. See the photo I've uploaded for an example. The interior has a modern rustic feel, and the food is presented on trendy serving boards. For 12 Euros (including a drink) you can walk away quite satisfied.

Yelp
The Hake with cheese ice cream was perfecto! The tapas were delicious as well. I'd recommend the prosciutto with cheese :) wine was very well priced and the staff was attentive and friendly!

Yelp
Honestly one of the best spots I've ever ate at. The crowd is cool, and food is amazing. You can spend a few hours here and see Ibiza's local culture and cuisine. Forget about the port/water front restaurants this is the best.

Yelp
I absolutely loved Mar a Vila. Came to this place upon some tripadvisor recommendation (It is listed as #6 there) and I couldn't be happier with the decision. First off, everything here on the menu is affordable, refreshing since we are talking Ibiza Town in the international party island of Ibiza. I remember every entree to be under 20 euros. We came twice for lunch during our short stay in Ibiza. The first day I got their monkfish item. SO GOOD. I have never heard of a monk fish before, but it must be a big fish since you are basically served two slices of fish steak. It is so tender and juicy, served with some salad and a savory dressing. 18 euros. The second day I got scallops in Parmesan sauce. Again, absolutely delicious. I personally do not like cheese very much, but this Parmesan sauce was so well done and not overly cheesy that it was very enjoyable. There were maybe 6 1.5 inch diameter scallops served. All in all, highly recommend and it made my Ibiza trip so much better. However, it is definitely a quality over quantity place. If you want to stuff yourself, you had better look elsewhere.

Yelp
Great tapas and fun ambiance! All tapas in the counter are €1.50 each - the tortilla espanola with asparagus was amazing, as was the aubergine wrapped bolognese, and the chicken and mushroom. It's 'what you see is what you get' but heated up and brought to the table. I also ordered sangria which came in a small jar with a straw. It was delicious and filled with fruit but strong. It felt like a much more authentic experience than many of the other restaurant options and the staff were super friendly and helpful in both English and Spanish.

Yelp
Very cheap and simple. Great food, great tapas. Not very crowded. Great choice for lunch or a break. Good for groups. Got some vegan options as well.

Yelp
Arrived into Ibiza famished and passed the traditional Spanish lunch hours so we stopped by here for a quick bite to fulfill our hungry tummies. The tapas were quite good; we tried about 6 or 7 different small bites and they were all very tasty. In addition we had 3 glasses of vino Blanca and 2 cafes to finish and our entire bill came out to $19€! Fantastic value.

Yelp
So as I figured after arriving, not much is open in Ibiza in November, however we were lucky enough to find this restaurant in the center of the city. First we ordered a glass of wine each which were only 3€! We then ordered our tapas which were delicious. Not a complaint about any of the 6 we ordered. For entrees, we ordered the pasta with almond beet cream and cod. My girlfriend said the cod was delicious and ate the whole thing. I wasn't too fond of the pasta, which I think was more so because of the sweetness and unique taste of the sauce itself. The service was alright, we had to ask for refills and utensils, after our food came. We would definitely come back next trip to Ibiza and recommend to friends

Yelp
Boyfriend and I had dinner here tonight and wow our expectations were exceeded! Amazing staff and delicious food. Try the lamb kababs!!!

Vanessa K.

Yelp
Really impressed with the food at this place. We decided to come here because the reviews online were really positive but once we sat down we weren't sure what to expect as the menu seemed really basic, however, the food is absolutely mouthwatering and such great value! Amazing ambiance and the staff were really lovely! Definitely try the cava sangria too

Yelp
I've found this amazing place on Yelp! Food is super good, the service is great and the presentation of the plates is awesome. Strongly suggested. I wish I could try all the desserts!!!

Yelp
This place is a hidden gem! I was so pleasantly surprised by the meal I ate here, it was one of the best meals I had in Ibiza and I would definitely go back. The homemade pastas were fantastic, as were the tapas. Great wine selection as well. It is hard to find really good food in Ibiza, at least at a reasonable price, Mar A Vila is both!
