Our family had an absolutely great experience staying at this hotel. Everything looked exactly as it did in the pictures. The bathroom was clean, the towels were fresh, and the entire place was spotless. We felt very safe during our stay. The breakfast was excellent, and the staff were amazing. The receptionist was especially outstanding—she provided us with so much helpful and useful information that we felt completely comfortable and cared for. While the hotel could use some updates, it’s honestly a fantastic place to stay if you’re exploring the area. It offers a clean, safe environment and truly exceptional service. Highly recommended!

This is a great location with shops and restaurants a quick 3 block walk down the hill (that means it’s uphill on the way back which was a little rough). The room was really big and comfortable and had a shared living room and kitchen downstairs. There was even a shared balcony where I sat all morning watching the butterflies go by. The included breakfast was really good with several choices and a great way to start the day.

Just perfect. The room was spacious and clean with a good view. The wifi is excellent. Competitive price for the area. Very relaxed. The breakfast was lovely. Everyone was very friendly and they offered room cleaning everyday. The guide of Monteverde they gave at the start was also awesome Had a great stay would recommend for sure

We were pleasantly surprised by this hotel. The room was spacious and clean and the staff very friendly. There are some balconies and a garden area, and this is for common use but not all quests seemed to be aware of this and some took quite ownership. So, the hotel could probably stress this a bit more. But we did manage to enjoy the balcony which was close to our room.|The hotel is located up a steep hill from the city center and this was probably the only downside to the hotel. The city has several cafes, restaurants, and supermarkets. |The breakfast is table service with several different options. When the hotel is full and there is a group, you are kind of the second priority when you are not part of the group. But we did manage to make it work and did get breakfast.|

Virtually everything here is perfect. Location is great - only 5 minutes walk away from the centre but far enough away so it is relatively quiet when you’re outside. The welcome and service is excellent with the staff helping me book tourist attractions in the area. The rooms are very good with comfortable beds, lovely patio with garden, great shower. The breakfast was really nice and there are various places to comfortably sit inside or outside plus there’s a nice bar. Very reasonable pricing also, so what is not to like!!!! Fully recommend

We had a lovely one night stay. Perfect jumping off point for adventures in monteverde. Very fairly priced. Note that our room didn’t have AC but since the elevation is so high, our room cooled down nicely. Breakfast was good. Would recommend hiking the cloud forest and doing the Tigre Waterfall adventure.

We were in room 3 which is in a quiet part of the hotel and has it's own little garden. There is a double bed and single bed and fridge and safe. The rooms and hotel are cleaned to a high standard. They have a bar which has lovely views. The town is 5 mins walk down a hill which has lots of shops and restaurants||The thing that let this place down was the lady receptionist. Breakfast starts at 6.30 am and we asked to eat then the following day as we were being collected at 7.50am for a tour. We were told they had a tour group who took priority and we could not have any breakfast, we offered to decide night before our option or could they do a breakfast box but again we were told no we would have to go without. We asked for a refund for breakfast and were told no .We argued and she eventually called the manager who agreed we could have breakfast. ||The next two days she said we could not book until the tour group decided they wanted breakfast and we could then book 30 mins before or 30 mins after again regardless of when we needed to be up for tours. We saw the happen to all guests who were not part of a group.

Hotel room was really close to a busy road and was incredibly noisy. Doors and windows weren't sealed, gaps beneath to let noise and dust through. No hot water.|Went to a terrific coffee tour, enjoyed the small orchid garden and orchid cafe. Wasted money on a night walk. Unique town for shopping for souvenirs.|Very windy out of way location. Steep hill and limited sidewalks. We travelled using a car service and would skip this town unless in a private car and able to stay in more remote hotel.
