Mara Intrepids Tented Camp

This camp was well above our expectations. We had the family tent which was equipped with all the amenities and a super comfortable bed. All Tents overlook the river and you get to enjoy the amazing sounds of nature. The food was exceptional with a Buffet Breakfast and Buffet lunch both providing the freshest ingredients and tastiest options of fruits salads soups freshly baked bread. Dinner was exceptional. 7 star ala Carte menus which provided a 5 course meal that was plated to perfection. Our compliments to all the chefs who basically gave you Art on a plate. We were a large group of 16 pax and all courses were served to everyone at the same time.|Mara Intrepids... you truly showed us how truly special your camp is. The unfortunate floods in the Mara in April 2024 have allowed you to reset some of your areas that were damaged and make them even more spectacular. the camp fire seating area and the new Bar/Lounge Deck are awesome. We celebrated my husband's 60th birthday with a safari in Kenya. Mara Intrepids made our holiday even more special. The tents are incredibly comfortable, the camp has beautiful gardens and eating areas and the food is exceptional. More than that though the staff were wonderful. We felt so welcome and were looked after amazingly well. At every turn there was someone smiling and being genuinely interested in your day, we felt part of a large caring family. All of the restaurant staff were very attentive and friendly, my favourite, Shillah, enhanced our experience immeasurably. The naturalist, Jonathan, gave incredible talks each evening. Our driver, John, was incredibly knowledgeable and great fun to spend time with. We saw a huge range of animals and very close up. We would love to return and can't recommend it highly enough.

Mara Intrepids camp was a wonderful stay for our safari. All accommodations are included in the stay. Our game drive tour guide Simon was practically on call all day for our drives. Simon was very knowledgeable of the reserve and the animals. In 3 days we were able to see a majority of the animals we expected to see. The trip exceeded our expectations. The room and amenities were luxurious.

Mara Intrepids was our home away from home. This place exceeded my expectations above and beyond. I do not even know where to start. The overall feel of the place, the super friendly people and staff. We had a tent right by the river and could see hippos right from our porch. Everyone was super friendly and helpful and it almost felt like a big family. Our safari driver Raphael was truly incredible. His driving skill and animal konwledge is exceptional. He answered every single question about the animals. We had 3 days of safair and Rapha was able to suprirse us every single time with a new spectactular wild animal. When I left this place I felt very sad and I wish that I can come back. Back to this place, to the wonderful people and to the animals.

One of the finest properties I have stayed in. Situated inside Maasai Mara National Park which is a pro for game drives. Beautiful property, well-maintained premium tents. The staff was very amazing, and took care of our family of 4 like home. George Ouma was a great chef, he used to make specific dietary adjustments in each meal according to our needs. Great Bar, lovely swimming pool. If you are planning to go to Maasai Mara, this is the go-to place.

The nicest staff I've ever come across. The entire experience from start to finish was flawless, thoughtful and absolute perfection. The place is beautifullly done, simple and stylish. The food is sensational. The game viewing and our guide was the best I've ever experienced. Cant rave enough.

Our guide Ezekiel was phenomenal - we saw 4 out of the big 5 and LOTS more. The tents were luxurious and the service was first class. Sheila greeted us every day and made us so happy . The location on the Talek river was gorgeous and full of animals!

We had a beautiful time. The staff were great. Extremely helpful and kind. The rooms were comfortable and it is wonderful sleeping the silence of camps and waking up to the sounds of jungle. The kids (age 9 and 12) had an amazing time. Would like to go again ... and recommend it to all.
