Mara Intrepids Tented Camp

We just returned from an amazing trip to Kenya. Two of our nights were spent at the Mara Intrepids, Masai Mara and it was fabulous! The accommodations were very comfortable, clean and beautiful. Service at the restaurant, gift shop and reception were all excellent. The entire staff was very friendly and quite proud to share their knowledge of their country. Special shout-outs to Nixon, Mark and Daisy for the tour of the Masai home and traditions. It was a wonderful experience.

I went with my family this summer and it was the best experience ever. The staff are so welcoming and kind. They helped us with all our needs and catered to what we wanted. Our waitress, Sheila, was the sweetest angel ever. She took care of us and provided us with what we desired. Overall a wonderful hotel and a beautiful environment. I recommend this hotel to whoever wants great scenery, caring staff and delicious food!

Our stay at Mara Intrepids was nothing short of amazing! From the moment we arrived, we felt truly welcomed and cared for.||A very special thank you to our waitress Shillah, whose warmth and hospitality made us feel at home throughout our stay. She went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect.||We are also deeply grateful to the chefs, who showed so much love and care in preparing meals for our son, who is on a special diet. They not only ensured that he had the best meals, but also served them right on time — something that meant so much to us as a family.||The entire team was outstanding — from Daisy at reception, to the cleaning staff who always greeted us with a smile, to Jeremiah from security, and everyone else who made our stay colorful and memorable.||Thank you all for making us feel so appreciated. We truly wouldn’t mind coming back, and we look forward to another visit. The whole team was just amazing plus very nice tents, everything was just amazing!

An unbelievable stay at Mara Intrepids. The camp is beautiful, tents are cozy, staff is incredibly warm and welcoming, and attention to detail at meals, turn down service, and safaris was unmatched. The camp is situated perfectly for daily safaris and just behind the air strip, making the location perfect. There is also a beautiful artisan shop on site. Dominic and Alex were the best safari guides, Joshua was our fabulous waiter, and Reuben, Duncan, Evans, and David took amazing care of us. A true must stay!!

We brought our family and had a wonderful experience. The facilities were well kept, very safe and very clean. We had great game drives with an excellent guide excellent guide. Our kids loved the kids adventure Club!!

We, a family of four with two young children (ages 5 and 3), stayed at Mara Intrepids for five nights, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. Our dedicated guide and driver, Silas, gave us outstanding game drives every day, and we were fortunate to witness so many incredible moments: a cheetah up close, leopards, lions hunting wildebeests, a crocodile feeding on a zebra, playful baby elephants splashing in the water, and much more.||Our children also had a wonderful time exploring within the camp under the care of the resident Maasai naturalists—Debbie, Mark, and Nickson. They learned so much about small creatures, plants, and Maasai culture in a fun and engaging way.||Thanks to the kind and attentive hotel staff, we were comfortable and well looked after from sunrise to bedtime every day. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience, and we wholeheartedly recommend Mara Intrepids to anyone visiting the Maasai Mara.

Wonderful experience combining camping and luxury in a resort environment. Very special. While in a modified tent you have full bathroom amenities. A great way to relax and get away from daily worries.
