Mara Intrepids Tented Camp

Absolutely fantastic stay at Mara Intrepids. Although we don’t have any other Kenya safari experience to compare with, Mara Intrepids clearly exceeded all our expectations. The staff is amazing, all of them. From the welcoming, to the reception, restaurant, bar, house keeping, exit gate, naturalist, guides etc. Food was rich, with a variety to choose from for every meal. The tents are comfortable, luxury, and cosy. We had a fantastic guide in Ezekiel, and we got to see more wildlife than could be expected. We also appreciated the visit to a nearby Masai village. We would recommend to everyone that has the opportunity, to visit this place and part of the world.

Excellent tented camp right on the river. Lovely facilities including a beautiful swimming pool. Good food, mainly a la carte, which is one reason we chose it as we a not a fan of buffets. As always super staff. Good game drives saw so much. Highly recommend.

Exceptional service, exceptional property, exceptional hospitality. We were here for 5 days and we were taken care off like never before. Our safari guide Mr. Silas was so experienced that we had the best experience ever. Other staff such as Lusciana, Dinah, Daisy and John were the ones who made our stay so so memorable ❤️ we cannot thank them enough

The Mara Intrepid camp in the beautiful Maasai Mara was a wonderful experience. The camp was very well organized and designed to provide a great experience. The service was excellent, the camps themselves comfortable and provided that “ romantic “ African feel. The bar was staffed with friendly hosts and the restaurant served wonderful meals. Pool area very nice and lots of locations to sit and relax. All in all the Mara Intrepid camp was a great place and my only regret is not staying longer ! Thank you for a wonderful experience.

Mara Intrepids – Exceptional Stay We had a wonderful stay at Mara Intrepids and were truly impressed by the outstanding customer service. On arrival we were welcomed by Massai dancers and offered a glass of fresh fruit. A special thank you to Yvonne, our server, who was warm, attentive, and consistently excellent, and Simon, our guide, whose deep knowledge of the Mara made our game drives unforgettable. Thanks to him, we were fortunate to see four of the Big Five during our stay. Only animal we did not see was the rhino. Our luxury tent was modern, well-appointed, and very comfortable, with a private patio and hot water for showers, overlooking the Talek River, which added to the overall experience. On arrival we found a bottle of wine, fruits and chocolate waiting for us. The food was delicious, with every meal thoughtfully prepared and beautifully presented. Only thing with the food was that they need to change up the daily option of roasted potatoes with every meal. Cons: no entertainment offered. There was a 30 minute talk in the evenings before dinner by Debbie which wad informative. . There was no music at all throughout the hotel. Some of the servers never smiled. Overall, an exceptional blend of comfort, service, and authentic safari experience. Thr General Manager Geoffrey was also very kind and professional. Highly recommended.

Mara intrepids surprised us from day one. So close to the airport and friendly staff. Food was amazing and chef and team prepared the food like professionals and presentation of food was amazing and tasted great as well. Lot of vegan and vegetarian options as well. Our guide for game drive Samson and Jessy made things so comfortable for us. So much of experience and knowledge and we got to see our big 5 and so many birds through them. Will go back again and stay there for sure. Tented camp was good and safe and camp was fenced and had lots of activities for family and solo travelers. Bush dinner and sunset view was amazing experience. We take back a lot of good memories and hope to go back soon.

The Mara Intrepid was a fantastic stay. It is located Near the Mara airstrip. Great personnel from the Manager Gregory, the waiter Joshua, the Front office Manager Daisy and our tour guides Simon and Romario. It was a fantastic experience with 5 course Menus, the ala carte experience. The Breakfast sessiin in the Mara was absolutely fantastic. Great scenery, 100% worth the money.

We came to visit the Maasai Mara and stay at the Mara Intrepids, thanks to bookings from Voyageurs du Monde. The camp is ideally situated, even close to the airfield. Besides perfect location, the tents were great, service impeccable, professional and amicable. The safaris with Dennis were just perfect, we saw and learnt so much, even got lucky to see a Leopard on the last hour of the last day! Restauration was great, cheerful with great attention to detail. We highly recommend staying more than the usual 2 nights, really worth it for the full experience!
