Not going to lie, we were disappointed to be in the family rooms rather than a glamping tent. The whole site was very busy with a lot of groups and children (high season). ||But room was spacious and comfortable, the staff looked after us. Loved the packed lunch for our full day safari! Food was great!

Camping is not our thing but this camping was really great, nothing like I expected, room was massive as well as the bathroom, loads of room. It was a tent but some of the walls, (bathroom area) are brick. Place was clean and the staff were really friendly, food was nice and we had the maasai singing to us after food at night, pool area was nice, don’t think it was heated but a few sun beds around it which in the middle of the maasai mara was really nice.

SCAMMERS in the Name of a Hotel – DO NOT BOOK! This place is an absolute joke. We booked and PAID for 2 nights — came all the way here — and they suddenly tell us “you only have 1 night.” No apology. No responsibility. Just blank stares and nonsense excuses. They blatantly tried to cut our stay short, acting like it’s our fault. It’s clear they either overbook rooms or just don’t care once they get your money. The staff was rude, clueless, and completely unhelpful. The management? Invisible. This is not a hotel, it’s a money trap with ZERO professionalism. If you’re thinking about booking here — DON’T. You’ll regret it. They’ll leave you stranded, ruin your plans, and treat you like garbage. Absolute worst experience I’ve ever had with a hotel.

right next to the Maasai Mara. food was great. but the room was not well maintained, there was no light in the shower cubicle. there was a rat in our room and i noticed animal droppings everywhere afterwards.

There are so many amazing things I can say about the people and our stay here. My friend and I came here in early December 2024 for 2 nights. |The day we arrived was like something out of your imagination. We were greeted by Joel and the staff and were so welcomed, it felt immediately that we were part of their family. |After our short tour of the main buildings, we were each taken to our "rooms". I was in #1 and frankly I was truly amazed at the accommodations. The rooms was SPOTLESS, so well designed and comfortable. I honestly would have been ok with having my personal belonging shipped to me and never left. They had Wi-Fi signal all over the compound and like most of the Mara, Cell coverage was amazing too. |The food and drink were very good and they had served more food than I was able to finish.|Aside from not having booked more time here, the only thing that I could offer as any sort of criticism was one evening for dinner they had a buffet and while the food was fantastic, there was not enough light to see very well.|Looking over the Talek River, there were multiple hippos that you could hear at all different times and can look right down into from the patio. Incredible.......

Safari Camp located on the edge of the Masai Mara NP, really close to all the safari action. Nicely set up, with both hardside and tent cabins. Quite shaded and cool as well - a nice feature. |Access is across a footbridge over the Talek River. |My cabin was comfortable, with a nice-sized bathroom and a reasonably comfortable bed. The power went off a couple of times overnight but was mostly operable during my stay. The hot water for showers is solar, so it isn't tremendously hot or plentiful, but it was enough for my needs. |There is a nice main pavilion for gathering, with a bar and restaurant. The food is plentiful but not memorable - I think they try too hard to please U.S. tourists' palates when they should be showcasing their own local and regional cuisine. |The staff is friendly and welcoming. They have a spa that gives excellent (they tell me) massages for very cheap prices. There is also a swimming pool that looked clean and usable, but I didn't see anyone using it while I was there. |Overall, a very good experience.

I was blown away upon arrival. It’s such a beautiful place to stay for your safari trip. They welcome you with a warm towel and juice and help you bring your stuff to your room. Our room was clean, beautiful and the safari lodge vibe with a lookout of the river. The beds were so comfortable with fluffy blankets and pillow. We enjoyed each meal that was a buffet with a variety. My friend and I got a massage for only $35/hr and it was one of the best I’ve had. That staff are very friendly . Overall 10/10 experience.

Mara Leisure Camp was a delightful glamping experience while on our safari trip with EF Go Ahead tours. The accommodations were very spacious canvas tents with wooden platform floors, fully furnished with comfortable beds and chairs, big front porches facing the river, and spacious individual bathrooms built on the back of each tent. The lodge was lovely with a beautiful dining room and bar. The head chef, Dixon, did an excellent job and even provided us with box lunches for a picnic lunch one day while on safari. They also have a beautiful lobby where you can access wifi if you cannot stand to be unplugged in this beautiful place. They even had a beautiful pool in this remote magical place. I will definitely be back !!
