Mara Leisure Camp

We stayed at Mara Leisure Camp in the King Room for 3 nights couple of months back and had an amazing experience. The rooms were big and spotless clean. The staff was highly courteous, cooperative, helped us with all ours needs and took good care of us throughout our stay with a big smile on their faces. We had running hot water in the bathroom which felt like luxury in a property right inside the park. The food was outstanding - the chefs and the staff always made sure to go an extra mile to prepare some Indian dishes for us apart from the buffet and made sure that we had great meals every single day as per our preferences. We felt right at home and were looked after throughout our stay. The lunch/breakfast boxes were generously packed and we enjoyed all our meals in the wild. Thank you for the amazing hospitality and would love to return in future to have this outstanding experience when I’m back in Mara❤️

Not going to lie, we were disappointed to be in the family rooms rather than a glamping tent. The whole site was very busy with a lot of groups and children (high season). ||But room was spacious and comfortable, the staff looked after us. Loved the packed lunch for our full day safari! Food was great!

Overall, the experience was pleasant. The room was comfortable and larger than most other places. The customer service was decent. But the lack of wifi and tv in the room was a bit annoying. The food was average and the service by the dinning staff was poor.

Mara leisure camp is just close to Masai mara National park. Facilities are good and staff is very courteous. Dining hall ambience is so good. Wifi is available only in the reception area.

Our experience at this hotel was very disappointing. The rooms are in poor and decaying condition, and the tents/camps are moldy, dirty, and extremely dark, making it difficult to even find things inside our luggage. The bathrooms are old, worn out, and unpleasant, with a disabled bathtub and clear signs of neglect. The food was very simple and poorly prepared, far below the standard we’ve experienced in other safari hotels. This is our second time doing safaris in Kenya, and this has been by far the worst hotel we’ve stayed in. Another concerning detail is that the water provided in the room does not come in sealed bottles. Instead, it is served in refillable glass bottles, which raises questions about quality and hygiene. Additionally, Wi-Fi is only available in the common areas, and the staff is not particularly attentive. Overall, the place feels run-down, neglected, and far below what one would expect from a safari experience. We would not recommend this hotel, especially given the many better options available in Kenya.

I am from Saudi Arabia A very beautiful resort, the rooms are clean, the restaurant is clean, the location is excellent, and the staff are very helpful. However, Wi-Fi doesn't work in the bedroom, but if you have an internet SIM card in your phone, it will work in the bedroom.

Camping is not our thing but this camping was really great, nothing like I expected, room was massive as well as the bathroom, loads of room. It was a tent but some of the walls, (bathroom area) are brick. Place was clean and the staff were really friendly, food was nice and we had the maasai singing to us after food at night, pool area was nice, don’t think it was heated but a few sun beds around it which in the middle of the maasai mara was really nice.

Can recommend it, there rooms are super comfortable. There food very good and delicious. Loved there breakfast. Staff very friendly
