Our experience at this hotel was very disappointing. The rooms are in poor and decaying condition, and the tents/camps are moldy, dirty, and extremely dark, making it difficult to even find things inside our luggage. The bathrooms are old, worn out, and unpleasant, with a disabled bathtub and clear signs of neglect.
The food was very simple and poorly prepared, far below the standard we’ve experienced in other safari hotels. This is our second time doing safaris in Kenya, and this has been by far the worst hotel we’ve stayed in.
Another concerning detail is that the water provided in the room does not come in sealed bottles. Instead, it is served in refillable glass bottles, which raises questions about quality and hygiene. Additionally, Wi-Fi is only available in the common areas, and the staff is not particularly attentive.
Overall, the place feels run-down, neglected, and far below what one would expect from a safari experience. We would not recommend this hotel, especially given the many better options available in Kenya.
