Mara Simba Lodge

I went to Mara Simba during November last year (2024) the weather at the time was very decent. This hotel had great rooms with incredible views of the Talek River, I specifically liked the fact that the lodge rooms were quite spacious from what I was expecting. ||The food was excellent, I managed to get a good amount of continental cuisine variety and the chef was very accommodating in making sure any particular favourites were made for us for meals.||We managed to see a coalition of 5 fully grown cheetah just a few kilometeres from the Lodges bridge Entrance to the park ||splendid visit.||Grayson

The staff was incredibly warm and genuine, offering an exceptional welcome. We truly felt at home and well taken care of. The food was absolutely delicious, and a special thanks to the chef, Eric, who was exceptionally kind and clearly passionate about his work. Our room had a balcony overlooking a river where we could watch hippos bathing, a truly unique experience. I wholeheartedly recommend this lodge, and a big thank you again to the amazing team for making our stay unforgettable!

We stayed at Mara Simba for two nights, nice location, very nice staff, rooms are ok..clean. Major disappointment was food. The spread was good but it just lacks flavor/taste. I hope they train the cooking staff, if this improves , nice place to stay .

I know this is called a 'lodge' but it is really a hotel. It's nice property in Masai Mara, well-located near Keekorok. The rooms were comfortable, and the highlight was watching hippos emerge from the river each evening.||Chirag, the marketing director, was incredibly helpful in organising our trip as we didn't use a tour operator - he helped us organize transport, game drives and the hot air balloon experience. Meals were included, and the bar was a nice touch. The only downside was the shower, which had hot water but lacked water pressure.

Average hotel in Masai Mara. Good location. However the rooms are basic.No mosquito nets provided. Bed was not soft. Lots of insects in the dining area especially at night. They should definitely cover up the place as there is river nearby .Food was bland .we didn’t like it much as we were Indian vegetarians. Hippos and crocodile seen in the river.service and staff are good. No hair drier.

Rooms were Decent, Spacious and Clean. The Toilet had an Arabic shower which is generally missing in most camps and lodges which for us was a plus. Hot water is available throughout so was the electricity. Big Plus Plus. Internet was almost everywhere including rooms - another plus. View from room was so-so as the river was almost dry. |Food was not the best but there was a vast choice of food and thus u wouldn't go hungry. The chef and his team were always smiling and helpful. |In general, the hospitality from all the staffs was GREAT. It was almost homely feeling. |The location of the lodge is NOT Great. It's pretty far from most of the action and game.

Our stay in a luxurious tent in Masai Mara, Kenya was unforgettable. Waking up to the sounds of wildlife in the morning was magical. The tent was cozy, clean, and had hot water, making it very comfortable. The surroundings were stunning, and the service was top-notch, ensuring a pleasant and relaxing experience. The cleaning was excellent, and we felt well taken care of throughout. It was the perfect blend of adventure and comfort, and we highly recommend this unique stay for anyone looking to experience the beauty of nature with a touch of luxury!

Our stay at Mara Simba Lodge was amazing. Staff are keen to details kudos to Nancy who made numerous calls to confirm our dietary and arrival time.|Warm welcome by the staff led by Mr. Emmanuel made us feel at home away for home not forgetting the guitarist at the bar and Tracy expertise in massage.|Very spacious and clean tents with nice view of Talek River. Wi fi all around the property, hot shower and delicious food was an experience of its own.|Mara Simba Lodge will never miss in our future travel bucket list.|Kudos to all staff of Mara Simba Lodge.
