We had an amazing stay at this lodge and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The location is beautiful and peaceful, perfect for relaxing and enjoying nature. The rooms were very clean, spacious, and tastefully decorated, with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always helpful. They went above and beyond to make us feel at home and ensured that every detail was taken care of. The food was delicious and of very high quality, with great variety and fresh ingredients. Overall, this lodge exceeded our expectations in every way. We would definitely return and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable and relaxing stay.

Really enjoyed the stay! The service and food were impeccable, every member of staff is very attentive. The room was cleaned very well and sprayed with mosquito spray every evening. The variety and quality of the food is incredible. Particularly Benson made the meals extra enjoyable. The only note is that there is no ATM available, as a warning for future guests.

The room was nice, clean and comfortable. The food was delicious, very good selection Everyone was very kind My only 2 comments are: -no wifi in the rooms -some unnecessary/long briefings like on arrival, before food, on entering the room… (this one applies to all the Sopa Lodges)

I loved the Kenyan hospitality and African spirit of being friendly and helpful. Thank you for a wonderful stay. I appreciate all the thoughtfulness and kindness, and the traditional dance performance was beautiful. The food buffet was amazing and I ate way too much for every meal. Tip for everyone: it’s a good idea to bring USD or convert to KES and bring cash along, to buy and tip in this area. Especially for the park fee. I wish someone had highlighted this to me beforehand.

A lovely resort with a friendly atmosphere and staff. A big thank you to Benson for breakfast and the lovely chefs in the pasta station. Dickson and Sebastian made sure we were well looked after in the restaurant and Danson attended to our room. Also thank you Tracy for your greeting. A big thank you to EVERYONE.

: This lodge surpassed my expectations, which were pretty high after doing extensive research . The staff was extremely welcoming from the moment we arrived, greeting us with warm washcloths and a refreshing glass of fruit juice. Every meal had multiple options of grilled meats and fish, soup, salad, omelette stations in the morning, make your own pasta every evening, numerous vegetarian and vegan options, and many selections for alternate diets, such as keto, vegan, or various food, allergies. Each day, the staff always greeted us with friendly smiles and warm handshakes. One note: There is Wi-Fi in the common areas, and not in the rooms. At first, I thought this was a weakness, and then I saw the benefits of this approach. Because we stayed here for four consecutive nights, on our last night, the management invited us to a special private dinner, where we were given our own private chef and were the recipients of a small personalized cake, thanking us for our stay and welcoming us back in the future. The Sopa Lodge went above and beyond to make our stay wonderful.

Our second time at this hotel and were pleasantly surprised to have found out that they changed a lot. Rooms are the same either lots of space bit nice amenities. The big change, food!! The offer in food is bigger and caters to a more international taste, still offering the traditional African dishes. And also the quality of the food is better and tastier. Would recommend this. Good price, friendly staff

We had a lovely 2 night stay at the Masai Mara Sopa Lodge. Our room was one of two separate rooms in a kind of duplex. We could hear some voices from the next room, but it WAS a 13 year old boy, so understandable. ||The room was terrific, though, and a hotel staff member escorted us to our room in the evening. Staff members also handled all of our luggage and made us feel like valued guests. Every staff member we interacted with was great. ||Meals were extensive buffets and the foods were varied and delicious. We saw monkeys and zebras on the grounds of the lodge. The pool and grounds looked wonderful. In the evening there was a video presentation in the main lobby area. There was also a great book store and gift shop just off the lobby.
