Márago Coffee - Paseo de Montejo

The service is friendly and very quick. They have a large drink and food menu which seems to have something for everyone. My husband who is much more of a coffee connoisseur than I really enjoyed the various coffees that he had. It has both comfortable indoor and outdoor seating. I would definitely check out this coffee shop!

This is the best coffee shop. Not only do they make phenomenal coffee drinks, but their food and service are incredible. They have an extensive menu with a dozen ways you can have your coffee made (pour over, French press, etc.). The atmosphere and location add even more prestige to the place. It's definitely the best coffee shop I've been too.

My friend and I came to this coffee shop and were pleasantly surprised by the staff and their creative presentation of their coffees, desserts, and meal options. We are definitely making this our spot on Paseo de Montejo. It’s located right across the street from the Colon ice cream shop and next door to La trattoria, Italian restaurant.

Such a great place for breakfast! The dishes are original, but with a classic touch. Service is great and variety of coffee and soft drinks is very good. The chocolate pancakes are THE BEST we've ever had. We also ordered Marago mix, elefante sandwich, hummus and chilaquiles. Everything was great. It's a must to visit while in Merida if you want to have a great breakfast.

Great coffee, reasonable prices. While mostly any coffee here is too light in taste (as everyone uses too much water), for me as a European there’s always something missing. The coffee they served was great in taste and enough for my needs. The staff there is nice and helpful as well.

So good we had to run it back the next day! Marago coffee has a wonderful selection of coffees and foods. The service is fast and the seating is cute and festive (we visited during the Christmas season). Highly recommend stopping by for any caffeine needs

I go here a lot. They have good coffee and nice people. I heard it's where expats hang out, but I've not met any at either the Calle 57 one or Paseo Montejo. But I love the drinks and just relaxing.

Ate breakfast here on a hot summer Sunday. Pet friendly porch so we brought our dog. I started with a smoothie that had papaya, pineapple, and coconut milk. Surprised it was not a little sweeter but ok. I got a croissant with chopped cooked apples. Very good especially when you added the apples. Tasted like apple pie. My wife got the avocado toast. Wonderful dish with two of the best poached eggs. She enjoyed along with the salad that came with the dish. The only issue was the service. Very slow and had to prompt waiter for each step of the meal.

This was my favorite coffee shop to go to while in Merida! They have so many different options of brewing coffee, with their coffee grounds based in Oaxaca, Mexico! The coffee itself is delicious, and they offer a pretty decent breakfast and lunch menu as well! This place is great if you're used to your Starbucks fix, but can't find one in the area! Prices are standard American prices.

Dark mocha frappe was delicious. Staff is friendly and speaks English. Atmosphere is cozy

Fantastic. Highly recommend I got the Marago Mix the eggs with artichoke dip was a great combo I believe the eggs are organic. The pancake with chocolate chips inside and cajeta on top was the best pancake I have ever had. My wife got the pesto turkey sandwich with a nice salad. Staff were friendly and helpful. The price for the food was extremely fair for the amount and flavor of the food. I highly recommend.

I had about 6 super experiences here for morning coffee followed by one really bad one so I abandoned it as my morning coffee stop. When they are empty they are super when later in the day or weekends moved me from a table to a bench next to the kitchen lost my business and a five star.

Excellent service! Delicious Oaxacan expresso, and ideal soy milk alternative with Ades. My husband loved his house omelette and I enjoyed oat gluten free pancakes. Highly recommend their coffee. Very smooth.

Food was ok at best. Service was slow and the drinks were ok. The best part was the red velvet Frappe. French toast was tiny and cold. Oatmeal had no flavor. First and last for me.

The service is excellent. Good coffee. The Bowl de Avena (oatmeal) was wonderful. They also have internet and a nice little spot to sit outside on the Paseo. I've come here a couple of times. Very nice spot. And they have decaf espresso!

Marago coffee is my favorite cafe in Merida. The food is healthy and delicious, the coffee is great, and the service is superb.

This spot is rad. 6 different options for coffee - pour over, French press, cold brew, chimex, etc. and so smooth I didn't need sugar. Food options and quality are excellent as well. Nice vibe inside and attentive service. Perfect after a morning stroll down Paseo Montejo.

Excellent coffee, I had the French press which was poured at the table. This is a great option with fantastic healthy breakfast options, will definitely visit again. The service was good with minimal delay

Amazing coffee place. We ordered pour over coffee, and they poured the coffee at our table and explained each step of the process. They were so attentive and knowledgeable. We are from New York and would be extremely impressed to find a coffee place like this there.
